May 2017We were provided with comprehensive information about our stay at the villa, most of everything we would wish to know to settle into the holiday and find what we needed in the near-by village. Greeted by the house-keeper Pam, we were shown around the villa and this helped us to further settle in. On the few occasions when we needed further help she answered our texts immediately and acted just at promptly. Thanks again to her for this.
The villa provides shady and sunny areas, thus pleasing both the sun lover and shade seeker in our party. The patio was comfortable and private space to eat our meals, when we breakfasted or decided to 'eat in'. Sitting out on the balcony into the evening was another added delight.
I would most certainly recommend this villa and would be happy to return again. Weiterlesen

Aug 2017We spent 2 weeks here and the villa was perfect for our family of 4. It's a good size and has everything you need, the air-con was especially useful at night to cool down and have a proper night's sleep. The kids loved the pool and the property was only 5 mins walk into Burgau so we didn't need to hire a car. I'd definitely stay here again, the house was very clean and the handovers were super easy. What a great place.
The accommodation was so clean and well organised .
The area was close to the town centre and only a five minute walk to the beach.
The housekeeper was really friendly and was very helpful.

Sep 2017Well equipped villa with all day sun around the pool and 2 seating areas. Pool small but great for plunging and playing as the adult children did! With all the facilities we could ask for and private end of street location, we all enjoyed a relaxing week in pretty, quiet fishing village. Prompt assistance at hand if needed. Numerous small and family run restaurants with good tasty food (booking at least 2 days in advance recommended as very busy). Beach bar - brilliant - and swim in the sea essential. Aug 2020We had an extremely enjoyable week in the Villa in Burgau. The Villa had almost everything you could need. Only slight drawback for us as a family with 18 month old, was lack of stair gate to stop access to concrete stairs, and also around the pool, when the tiles get wet they were very slippery.
In terms of communication though, owner was first class at keeping in touch when we had any queries etc, and local support was also available.
All in all, this property offers a lot with small pool and plenty of outside space, with access to sun on patio areas from the moment it rises until sunset. The property is well equipped and the en-suite bathroom to the main bedroom has obviously been recently renovated and is of a high quality. Weiterlesen

Feb 2017We had a magnificent holiday in Burgau staying in the villa for 2 weeks in June 2016, the property had everything we needed for our family holiday which suited each of us perfectly, during our holiday we had great variety by enjoying the pool and villa by relaxing for breakfast and lunch in the spacious covered patio followed by enjoying swimming and a sun bed in the magnificent cordoned off pool area where we had ample sun beds to relax and enjoy the day! The upstairs balcony overlooking the countryside and cliff walks was a fantastic venue for sun downers and relaxation during the evenings! The Villa is also a comfortable stroll into the centre of the quiet little fishing village of Burgau where there is a magnificent beach and beach bar which offered great food and friendly staff. The village has a good range of Restaurants offering a variety of good menus. The beach was fantastic and had great facilities to allow days of relaxation under sunshade if required with the family. As a family holiday we enjoyed the villa very much, the teenagers had the pool/TV and beach nearby and our toddler had a great time in his mini pool splashing around on the patio which is cordoned off from the main pool area! Early mornings were great with a stroll with the buggy to the beach to collect the days fresh Portuguese rolls. The villa is spacious and very comfortable, just a fabulous relaxing family holiday at the villa all round! Thank you, we will definitely be back!! Weiterlesen

Jun 2017We had a fantastic holiday in this lovely villa in the village of Burgau. From the booking to arrival we had great information from the owners and the villa matched the description on the site. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners in a great restaurant, they were very kind and considerate.
Burgau is a sleepy fishing village with a great beach and sufficient restaurants and bars to suit most tastes and budgets.
It is a couple of minutes walk to nearest restaurant and 5 minutes to the main area/beach (down a fairly steep slope).

Apr 2017We genoten weerom enorm van onze korte trip naar Burgau. In het dorpje heerste een gezellige drukte, de beachbar en vele restaurantjes waren terug geopend na hun winterslaap. Prachtige natuur, super voor de mooiste wandelingen.
Ook de woning was fantastisch : alles wat je nodig hebt is voorhanden, van haardroger tot wasmachine en strijkijzer toe. Het was er weer heerlijk vertoeven! Weiterlesen

Jul 2019The Villa is within walking distance of Burgau beach and restaurants which is great. The two bedrooms both with en-suites are a good size. The second bedroom has 2 single beds that don’t push together for a couple. Both bedrooms need new pillows. The pool is lovely and kept beautifully clean. As can be seen by the photo the outside is very basic - could be made to look a bit more homely with some pot plants or similar. The furniture is dated but clean and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and I would recommend this villa. Weiterlesen

Oct 2018Our third visit to this quiet, spacious and private end terraced villa, with all day sun areas and pool to cool down and have fun! Hilde is a please to deal with when booking. This is followed up by a friendly, professional service from Candida during our stay. The four of us again enjoyed the many small restaurants and shops, not forgetting the entertaining Glaswegian with his friendly tuk tuk service. Another fab week in this traditional village, which has brilliantly avoided the commercialism of many other destinations. Will be back. Weiterlesen

May 2017Our family had a wonderful holiday at the villa April 2017. We have 2 boys, 8 and 4 and the gated pool area gave us great peace of mind. The villa is only a 5 minute walk from the supermarket and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. 10 minute walk to the fantastic Burgau beach! Our boys loved the beach and there were buckets and spades and other toys for our use at the villa. Pam the property manager met us the first day and made sure we had everything we needed and knew how to use the tv etc. We had lots of movies for the kids available and the same for adults. All in all a fantastic villa with every possible thing you might need. Weiterlesen

Sep 2018Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour du 04/08 au 31/08 dans se petit coin de paradis. Si vous désirez vous retrouvez en famille à tête reposé à 5 min à pied de la plage , promenade, resto, etc... alors c est le bon endroit. Tres jolie maison confortable , propre, vous n avez besoin de rien de plus que votre envie de passer un séjour inoubliable. Je tenais aussi à remercier Candid la femme de ménage qui est sur place, un sourire à chaque fin de phrase. Jun 2022Just back from staying here and loved everything about it! The house location is great the sun is in the pool from 10am right through till early evening which is great they have a toilet downstairs which was ideal for my parents so they didn’t have to tackle the stairs each time they needed to use the bathroom
A handrail on the stairs would be good for older people and children unsteady on their feet and the kitchen door gets in the way of the cupboards ha ha but minor things overall was a brilliant stay and would love to return again! X thank you Weiterlesen
