Villa Serenité

The property it self is set in the south of Mauritius surrounded by lovely greenery and the beach being a 10 to 15min short walk away. The property is based in the compounds of Sofitel within a residential area. The decor was right up our street with lovely sculptures and art work setting the tone. The rooms were large and spacious along with a bathtub and large shower in each of the three rooms. All rooms had double bed which is large enough to have a young child share between 2 adults and one of the rooms has the additional bunk beds. Lastly the private swimming pool was great addition as the children thoroughly enjoyed splashing around.

This is a private rental which was not very clear when booking. We were greeted by the lovely Crystal who cooked us a tasty meal (even though not arranged however great when you have 4 hungry children from a long flight so we didn’t mind paying for it). Crystal comes in the morning to clean the rooms and is there to contact if you need anything. We paid her a small fee to stay in the mornings and cook us breakfast which we brought from a local supermarket which worked out great for us. She has all the knowledge for local things to do and where to go and will help arrange for taxis and excursions. What i would say is that this is more or less a self serving villa where we had to buy everything from food to toilet roll!! However i would imagine if you didn’t want the hassle Crystal would be more then happy to arrange it all for a fee. We had a very enjoyable stay

The Location was excellent and quite. The swimming pool was very nice and the children enjoyed it very much.

Air conditioning system in rooms require maintenance.

They cheat me with the extra amount for the brake fast
