Water Front Villa und Private Guest Cottage, Strand nur 50 Meter entfernt!

We truly enjoyed a 2-week family vacation at this charming villa in a magnificent location. In particular the terrace offers fantastic panoramic ocean view that not many places can live up to. A small, nice beach is very close by and several other fantastic beaches within walking distance. A car is recommended since the nearest supermarkets are a few kilometres away. The road leading to the property is quite bumpy so don't take your Porsche. The small guest house is OK, but does not have the same standard as the main house. The property has lots of character, it gives you the feeling that you were staying at a friend's house. Thank you Pietro for a fantastic vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. It is a little paradise and also for kids very exciting due to the hidden corners on the ground and little beach (snorkeling, climbing on the rocks). Most impressive is the large terrace with the wonderful view over the sea. The house (including guest house) and rooms are small but ok. We were 4 adults and 4 kids. Only the heat without any climate control and the moskitos were a bit anoying. The communication with Pietro was very good and his tips excellent. We recommend the restaurants "Marco" or "12.1" at the beach of Porto Taverna and the boat trip with Marco. It is really worth it. Also a walk to the next spiaggia Sassi Piatti is nice. One thing to mention: The private road to the house is a bit bumpy. We will come again.

We booked the house for 16 days in May and were very much looking forward to spend a romantic time there with the two of us. As it turned out the overall experience was very disappointing and we left half-way through our trip. What is good about the house is the location. Absolutely stunning view and the wider area is gorgeous too. What was very disturbing is that right next door a house is being constructed. The hammering started at 7.30! and went on till 16.30. The owners knew about this as they had just been there themselves but did not notify us of the construction noise. Very misleading.The house itself is very basic and simple which is fine with us. the furnishing is old and especially the bed needs to be replaced. What is not fine is that the owners must be heavy smokers as they house smells very intensely. The smoke smell is very strong in the bedding, quite disgusting really. Again there was no warning on the website or in the direct communication with the owners beforehand that this is a smokers house. We would never have considered renting it.Other that that the house was reasonably clean except there was no toiletpaper. Not great if you arrive in the late evening with no amenities nearby!These sort of unwelcoming signs were everywhere. No diswasher detergent, no washing powder. one set of towels for 16 days! etc. Overall not very welcoming hosts and as it turned out quite rude as well. .The local caretaker does not speak any English. She is lovely but with all the issues we had we had no way to communicate our concerns other than emailing the owners in New York. Until this day they never replied to our emails. Interesting way of treating your customers.Our overall recommendation is DO go to Sardinia. It is paradise. After we left this property we found a great place to stay and had a wonderful time. But DO NOT go to this place. Don't be tempted by the pictures, you will be disappointed,

Very nice and lovely Place.

This house is heaven on earth! I loved every minute that I spent here. The elegant simplicity of the furnishings and beautiful terrace make for the perfect vacation. It is exactly the aesthetic you hope for in a house by the sea. Also, the kitchen and bathrooms seemed newly renovated which was great and it was very clean. I loved the accessories and personal touches around the house and outside. It made me feel very much at home. The view is amazing! We spent hours sitting and eating on the terrace, and never missed the sun set. The garden too is beautiful, we felt nestled and very private, and used the outdoor shower constantly. Just minutes from the house was a private beach, does not get better. The town nearby was also perfect and convenient for daily groceries. The owners were really accommodating and seemed to have a wealth of knowledge about the island. For me this was complete paradise and I cannot wait to go back!

Sauber, gepflegt, ruhig, top Lage und Aussicht, sympathische Besitzer, einfach gute Atmosphäre für entspannte Ferien! Sehr empfehlenswert.
