Its very far from Kuta/ Seminyak. Around 3 hours each way by private transfer.
No windows / security to "lock" up as its open / outside.

May 2022The view was amazing and also the bamboo house design. It was nice to see that host has thought about small details - games, yoga mat, punchbag, extra blanket and other things. Also there were many spots to lay down and chill.

Feb 2023the views. the house. the weather. the swings in the room. the honeymoon decor. the comfortable bed. the sitting area and dining area. the bathroom was also gorgeous. most amazing stay of my life. the lights were also gorgeous. nice feeling of being in nature and playing board games.
angel house doesnt have glass doors like the queen house. so the area was pretty open and a stray cat and a stray dog entered our premises, didnt touch anything of ours but there was no way to lock them out. Magic hills should also improve their food. it was quite bland. we ordered food from another hotel nearby. they can add more games as well such as sequence and ludo

Jul 2022The most beautiful bamboo house with an amazing view of the surrounding rice terraces. Loved all of the decor and seating areas. There are no real doors/windows, so it felt very connected with nature. The staff was very attentive and so helpful with arranging a driver for us.
This place is magical!

Aug 2022The best stay we have ever had. The staff is a 10, the double-height room is a dream, the food was very good and the views... like in paradise. If you go to Bali and you can book well in advance, you won't regret it.

Feb 2023staff were absolutely brilliant went out of there way to do anything for you, everything is delivered to you no matter how big or small so you don't need to leave your villa once your there. lovely views from the villa, beds where comfy and the bugs weren't as bad as we experienced in other places in bali despite it being open. lots of extra amenities in the villa to keep yourself occupied and lovely as the sunsets. good food selection available and a European restaurant close by for any fussier eaters. toilets upstairs and downstairs, outdoor shower and a hammock.
for a 'luxury' get away there was a few things lacking, a more extensive drinks list would have been good (only beer on the menu) the pool didnt have a jacuzzi setting yet (something with supplier issues) and they're still in the process of building some villas so it was a little bit noisy in the morning and had a bit of a building site vibe. i have no doubt when its all completed it will be absolutely stunning but for the moment it just didn't quite meet the expectations we had before we arrived, especially considering the price compared to other places on the island of bali.

Nothing! As you would expect there are a few insects/bugs but they also provide insect spray.
We will definitely be back and stay for longer to explore more waterfalls around the area!!!
