Narada Resort & Spa Perfume Bay Sanya - All Villas

We were looking for a place that was off the beaten track so really enjoyed the remoteness of the resort, away from other hotels and resorts. The privacy of the individual rooms with pools and hot tub allowed us to be socially distant from others. Breakfast offered a good selection of western and Asian choices. It was a perfect getaway after not being able to travel away from home for almost a year.

We really enjoyed this hotel's villas only concept, very private and quiet. The villa was spacious with large swimming pool. It was quite cold in December, only 20C, so outdoor jacuzzi with hot water was a great option. Breakfast is very good with variety of food. All facilities are clean and quite new. Since there are not many hotels around, it's a good place to enjoy quiet and secluded long beach with beautiful scenery comparing to other overcrowded places in Hainan. The staff is friendly and polite. Especially, I would like to thank the manager at the reception Mr. Li Xiuchuan, who was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay.

The hotel is located in Hainan's developing area, so there are no any good dining options ouside the hotel. There are two restaurants in the hotel: Chinese and Western. Chinese restaurant was the only option for the lunch and dinner (maybe because of pandemic), and although you still can order the meal from western restaurant, the variety of western food menu is quite limited. The staff at the restaurant don't speak English, so it's a challenge for foreigners to communicate with staff. It's forbidden to swim in the sea at this Bay, because of big waves and current, so hotel's and villa's swimming pools is the only option.

We love our stay at Narada Perfume Bay. We actually extended our stay for an extra day since we love it so much. Everyone from the staff was very helpful and polite. Especially Jiajia who helped us with any request we had during our stay. The facility is amazing, It has a huge garden and the beach is just stunning. We didn’t enjoy the infinity pool but it looks great as well. We also loved our spacious room with private pool and jacuzzi. We spent most of our morning in the pool and the rest of time on the beach. The environment was very quite and you are really immerse in the nature. We took many evening walks on the beach and in park. They also have a beautiful spa. I did a relaxing massaged after a day in the beach and it was the perfect way to end the day. It’s the perfect place to recharge and decompress from the chaos of the city. We can’t wait to come back.

The food selection was limited, but selected dishes like Australian stake was really good. Breakfast has limited western selection, mainly Chinese. You are not allow to swim on the resort beach, but if you walk few hundreds meter away from the private area you can still have a little swim. Staff can’t speak English very well, but my wife speaks Chinese fluently so we had no problems.

Internet does not work at all or really slowly. No access to the ocean because of current - but not comprehensible. Very limited western food and no service at the pool area.

location is a bit remote, you better have a rental car. restaurants in the surrounding are very basic, for nicer locations you have to drive. western restaurant in the hotel was closed, only the Chinese one open.

But it was all compensated by a really nice and clean Villa. The outdoor pools, beach and other facilities are really clean and nice! Despite the Service and the spitting camera guys, I can say we have had a great and relaxed stay.

Service needs to improve..... Waiting time in restaurant was terrible long, but improved from the third day..... Another negative point, I recommend to limit are the wedding photograhs. Didn't care that they are basicly everywhere, but spitting everywhere and just throwing their cigaret butts on the ground won't support the nice environment.
