Jul 2016We all had a great time at Coquina Beach - lots of beach and pool time - shopping and a wonderful shelling cruise to Cayo Costa - as well as lots of time in Estero Beach, Naples, and Ft Myers.
The condo is always a beautiful haven from the hot sun and rain - very relaxing, everything sparkling clean and lovely. We had a minor issue with parking the first few days because we didn't have a parking permit - which I thought would be in the unit when we got there - but we picked it up that Monday - and Jim from Island Management was very prompt in resolving this.
We always plan at least a week every year to enjoy Sanibel and this wonderful condo - always a joy and privilege, Weiterlesen

Jul 2021This is the 4th time we’ve stayed in this unit and 9th or 10th time at Coquina. We love Sanibel! The unit was good as always. The only issue/concern we had this trip was the parking was miserable. I literally had to crawl through the back of the small SUV to get in/out of the car because the spaces are just not big enough to accommodate larger vehicles which were on both sides of us. There were also cars parked near the entry across from trash that made it difficult to get in and out of parking lot. Weiterlesen

Sep 2021This condo is steps away from the ocean as stated. The condo was well furnished and supplied and made for a easy arrival and departure. I also love that this location is about a two mile walk on the beach from the lighthouse. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend 4D to anyone looking to vacation on the island. Jan 2020The Coquina condominiums are on the beach and in a great location. This unit was very good, as described in the listing. Parking is a consistent problem at Coquina, tight spaces and no options if someone is in your assigned spot. If you have a big vehicle or guests with a car, that becomes problematic. May 2022The condo is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Unfortunately, there are no railings along the steps from the parking area to the condo. My husband, who walks with a cane, fell twice before we figured out a better way to get him inside. Two other of us also have difficulty with stairs without rails. Walking on the rocks next to the stairs is also unsafe. Further, the parking spaces are too narrow. If one person parks incorrectly, the entire lot is virtually impossible to navigate. I am small and rather thin. One day, I was the only one who could squeeze into the car to back it out. My suggestion is to get rid of the guest space and make all the other spaces wider. Much as we liked the location and the condo amenities, we will be unable to return because, frankly, it is not suitable for older adults. Weiterlesen

May 2018Sanibel and Captiva Island are an awesome family destination. The condo was perfect, had everything we needed and lots or room to be very confortable. Everybody in the surroundings units and on the Island were so kind and welcoming. Highly suggest to visit neighbor Captiva Island.
We had trouble with refrigerator when we arrived, but PM came and sent repairman quickly. It came back to life by itself but still good to see they took care of us quickly. Weiterlesen

It is clean and comfortable - decor is a bit dated and furniture not super comfortable, but other than that it was great. The complex is well maintained and very beautiful. I would stay here again. We had an issue the day we got there with the AC, but it was resolved quickly (within an hour) and worked great the rest of our stay. Dec 2018For the most part, weve had a great experience. The only criticism we have is that the humidity level in the unit is extremely high. We used a/c to try to help but that only helped a little. A dehumidifier in the unit would make a big difference. The dresser in the master bedroom smelled very musty due to the high humidity also. However, other than that, we have been very pleased. Jul 2021Coquina Beach condo was a great choice for our family. We had 4 in our party and the space was perfect for us. It was easy access to the beach, tennis court, and pool. The space is comfortable and with all the necessary amenities. It was also a great price for a weeks stay. My only issue is the parking. It’s very tight and with all big cars in the slots this week, it made it very interesting to park. It would be nice if there was overflow parking. Overall, I would certainly stay again. Weiterlesen
