Aug 2019Wonderful view, comfy beds, outstanding accomodations! Exactly as listed and the location was even more beautiful if advertised, if possible. We had the beach to ourselves, the pool was clean, and the bartenders at Kaibo were great. We enjoyed snorkeling at starfish point just outside the condo. Also found excellent snorkeling at Rum Point and even around the Kaibo dock. The amenities listed water sports but we used another condo owner's paddle board by mistake.
Highly recommend Tikka, Over the Edge Cafe, and the Upstairs restaurant. And Capt Eduardo from Peace of Cayman. Wonderful bio bay tour that lasted over 3 hours!
Thanks again for letting enjoy your condo. It was a great vacation! Can't wait to come back!

Dec 2022We were very pleased with the property and the remote area was exactly what we wanted. We were a little bummed that Rum Point was closed for repairs. It was very nice to nearly have the entire beach to ourselves. There were a few small issues that property manager dealt with quickly. Overall, exactly what we expected and wanted.

Feb 2020We wanted a quiet condo to retreat to after exploring this beautiful island. This condo was perfect. We love Northside for being away from the party scene on the west side. We could walk from the our room onto a boat to Stingray City, Bio Bay or the water taxi to the west side activities. At day's end, we sat on the spacious screened balcony and watched the sunset over the bay. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. I liked being on second floor as people were not walking by our window and the view was better.
Perfect resort for families as well.

We loved eating breakfast every morning out on the screened in lanai overlooking the bay at Kaibo and watching the sun set over it in the evening. The pool area is nice (albeit a little small) but everything is clean and well maintained. The condo itself was sparkling clean when we arrived. The condo provides beach towels, plenty of extra bath towels and washcloths if necessary, a washer/dryer, and every possible kitchen utensil and appliance needed. We rented a car so we were able to easily drive all over the island to explore and for restaurants. There are only a few restaurants nearby but everything we tried was delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable trip for our family and that was made possible by staying at this condo. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of George Town, I highly recommend staying here!

Jan 2020We really like the place. It was very nice & ckean. Loved the screened in patio. The screens had some holes, so we noticed some bites. We did alot of cooking there becuz it was expensive to eat out. We found a could nice cheaper places to eat, after talking to some other guest. It would of been nice to have a gas grill. We purchased charcoal with matchlight & you could really taste the lighter fluid. We kept burpping it up all night. Ruined our nice steaks that we brought from home. Would of been nice for our unit to have a kayak. There were many around but none for us. Could of used a cheese grator too. Overall we really enjoyed it. One of our quiter vacations.

Jan 2023We had a terrific stay. Mitchell (owner) was very responsive leading up to our vacation. The location is wonderfully peaceful. My family enjoyed the pool, the beach, the hammocks, starfish point, kayaking in the bioluminescent waters, and exploring other parts of the island — mastic trail, barefoot beach, spotts beach (sea turtles were great), seven mile beach, sunset house, cemetery beach, and we strongly recommend stingray sailing with Chip.
Some updates in the condo would be welcomed, but we are a family that doesn’t spend much time indoors, so it was minor. I did not have cellular service, and that seemed to be the preferred method of contact for property management — it was relatively slow response to email.
Overall, we were really pleased with our stay and would do it all again.

Jul 2022We had an amazing vacation to Grand Cayman. It was my wife and I along with our girls who are 3 and 6 who made the trip. Grand Cayman is a great travel destination as it is very safe and there is so much to do. It’s a great place for families with young kids or older kids.
The 2 bedroom condo at Rum Point was perfect for our family. We wanted to stay in the quieter side of the island and this is exactly what we got. The condos at Kaibo were very nice and many of them were empty while we were there. The pool was great and so was the hot tub. The kids were in it every day. The beach and water was very calm. We didn’t swim a lot right at the condo but we did head down to Starfish Point which was very close. I heard there could be issues with jellyfish but we didn’t have any issues. Every morning our girls walked and found many starfish right in front of the condo. Some of the condos came with paddle boards and kayaks. This one did not but we were able to borrow someone else’s.
You are in the quieter side of the island which is away from a lot is the popular things to do. This was fine for us as we just got in the car and drove. The longest drive was to the turtle farm which was about an hour. Remember you have to drive on the other side of the road. Along with the popular attractions being a drive so are a lot of the restaurants. The Kaibo Yacht Club is a walk next door but the other close restaurants can be 10-20 minutes. Unless you want to head into Georgetown and then it can be about 45 minutes. We didn’t mind driving so this wasn’t an issue for us. Be sure to head to the other side of the island if visiting. Check out Seven Mile Beach by going to Governors Beach. The closest grocery store is about 10 minutes but it was a small one. A bigger one was about 20 minutes away.
This condo was on the second floor which did require some stairs, no problem for us. It was newly furnished and the beds were comfortable. The appliances were all in working order with no issues. The lock at the door was a little tricky. The key pad did not work so you had to use the key. This would sometimes stick so we made sure not to fully turn the lock when locking.
We had a blast and the price was great for what we got. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the great vacation.

Nov 2022This condo is right on the beach and adjacent to a fun open restaurant and coffee bar. The palm trees along the beach front against the sunsets were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the screened deck and watching this each night, The condo complex was fairly empty during our stay since it was off season but this made our stay more enjoyable. Often to ourselves and the peace and quiet was great. Lots of boat tours leave right in front from the wharf. The Condo was well supplied with towels and the kitchen also well stocked. It is about 1 hour drive across the island to George Town so that can be an issue if that is where you want to be. Groceries about 30 minutes away for the major shops. Would definitely stay here again since we love the calmer resorts. Other times of the year this may not be so peaceful with boats and and families around the beach and pool.

Dec 2022The unit was Big and had ample amounts of dishes and cooking supplies..
We did reach out to the owner during our stay without response. The Vaccume was Broken when we got there.
The Snorkle Mask was broken. And there was no dust pan to sweep.
Bonus was there were ample towels and seating where we didn't feel as though we were stepping on one another.
We saw that other units had paddleboards and beach stuff which would be an added bonus.
The unit other wise was great ......

No flashlight to use when we had a power outage! Some new appliances added since our 2017 visit but no longer is laundry detergent or Kleenex provided. Minimal condiments included. Pool was overrun by loud, intoxicated adult guests from 10 am until after 11pm. No on-site management to control it. Limited beach chairs, with guests reserving as early at 7 am. Old outdoor grill but no charcoal or lighter fluid. Grocery store is 30 minute drive, so stock up. The view is beautiful along with beach area, dock with ferry access and restaurant. Starfish Point is a short walk away. With some repairs, updating and more control over rowdy guests, this could be four or five stars!

The location is on the quiet side of the island, which we preferred. Be aware that there are limited restaurants in the area, but they were all very good.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. Recommend bringing a small cooler and insulated cups for going out and about.

The condo is a little ways from a main grocery store so I recommend shopping on your way from the airport. A smaller grocery store, Chisholms, has the essentials/beer/wine and is about 10min away. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. Recommend bringing a small cooler and insulated cups for going out and about.

Nov 2019Rum Point and Kaibo are at the quiet end of the island, perfect if you want to just relax and enjoy the ambiance of the sun, beach and vista. Restaurants and food store not too far away. If you like to cook the kitchen is well equipped.

The location is ideal for those looking for the quieter side of Grand Cayman and near to the north side beaches, starfish point and the bio bay. The pool was rarely crowded and there was always a hammock or chair available to relax in. The condo had what we needed to cook daily meals. Thanks for a great stay!

Feb 2020My biggest issue was communication. We checked in into the unit. Took a ride over to Rum Point. When we returned we found the door open and people in the unit. They were replacing the washer and dryer. Since we did not know about the replacement it king of freaked out when we returned. This would of been a non issue with a heads up.
Also the light bulb needs to be replaced sever missing/ Burt out. Ceiling fan missing covers. I know these are simple items but it does give a bit of a negative vibe when you walk in. Correct these simple items and it would have been a perfect stay.

Aug 2022Mitch condo was very huge and spacious. I was kind blown as to how clean it was compared to other Places that we’ve stayed.
Beds were super comfortable, lots of seating in the living and dining area and outdoor balcony (which we didn’t utilized because once the kids come in they want to hit the bed).
The pool was nice and clean but I was a bit bummed because the bay was clean to swim in (nature doing it’s thing).
Rum Point was closed so is the beach. Star fish beach was not nice but we did see lots of star fishes.
7 miles beach was 55 minutes away from this condo but we didn’t mind the drive.
If you want peace and quite you’re guaranteed to get it staying in this area/condo.
We enjoyed our stay…it was very relaxing .

Jul 2022I travelled to Grand Cayman for a wedding which was being held at the Kaibo Yacht Club. The location of this condo was perfect for that, a minute walk. Unfortunately, while the north side of the island was quiet and relaxing, it was a little too quiet/remote. The only restaurant open was the one at the Yacht Club, and the closest grocery store is a 15 minute drive. The pool area was very nice.
The condo was very clean with plenty of towels and linens provided. The decor was dated, with some of the blinds broken. Could use some updating but was functional. Beds very comfortable. The only other issue I found was not knowing what was provided as far as toilet paper, dish soap, etc, and buying things unnecessarily. Overall, it was a great stay for the cost.

The condo is very nice with a great screened in porch. Here is where the but comes in. Make sure you go to the grocery before you get there. The cove was filled with jellyfish because of the winds so after we got stung, we never went back in. Other than the one bar/restaurant on that beach there are no other services. The bar is nice but limited in selection and very expensive. So because of the ocean conditions that meant we had to travel and find a place to snorkel. You will have to bring your chairs as the owner didn't have any. The island is tough to drive on. Left side of the road, with blind turns, no sidewalks and no lights so you have to be really careful. You can get to a couple of restaurants in 15 minutes but for any selection you have to travel to 7 mile over an hour away on the roads. So like I said, Great place, but.

Jun 2022It is a wonderful property let me start with that. Secluded beach with a limited amount of tenants around. The pool is wonderful and taken care of sporadically. The condo is very nice with a great screened in porch. Here is where the but comes in. Make sure you go to the grocery before you get there.
