Oct 2015Wir, 3 Erwachsene aus Deutschland, verbrachten 5 Tage in dem sehr schönen Appartment von Noa. es ist genau, wie in der Anzeige beschrieben, neu renoviert und gemütlich und chick eingerichtet. Noa und ihr Mann haben uns herzlich empfangen, uns mit Tipps für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt versorgt und hielten für uns Obst, Dinge für unserer Frühstück und eine Flasche guten Rotwein bereit. Die Wohnung ist 3 Minuten vom Meer mit schönem Strand, im alten Teil von Jaffa gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar, in ca. 15 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß den alten Hafen von Jaffa. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Aug 2016We've stayed in many apartments in Tel Aviv/Jaffa over the years and this is the nicest we've been in. It is spotlessly clean and has been tastefully renovated. The owner has thought about all the little things that help to make a place feel comfortable. The balcony is wonderful as is the view and the ambience. I highly recommend this apartment as a rental.

Dec 2019We truly enjoyed the strategic place of this apartment. We were in walking distance from the old port city of Jaffa as well as Tel Aviv and the shopping area was less than 10 minutes away. The decor of the apartment was lovely. The ceramic tiles on the floor are a beautiful mosaic ( there are lose tiles that need to be glued in place around the dining table). It was relatively quiet at night accept for the neighborhood dogs that would bark in the middle of the night. The bathroom was functional ( the sink drain was slow to empty). The owner checked in on us occasionally to see if we needed anything. Staying here made our trip pleasant and comfortable.

Sep 2018We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Noa's place near the sea in Jaffa. Plenty of parking (not so in most of Tel Aviv), easy walk to beaches (1/8 mile), restaurants (try Old Man in the Sea), and stores of all types, including for groceries. Nice walk - about a mile - into Tel Aviv along the sea promenade, past the old port of Jaffa. Everything in the unit worked like a charm, no issues at all. Noa is very well organized, friendly and easy to communicate with, even when we were 7 time zones apart.

We enjoyed the locality - beach, excellent local restaurant very nearby, the unexpected charms of Ajami. walking the promenade to the old Jaffa port and eating by the water, to old Jaffa on the hill and to the clock tower area, flea market etc. With our hire car easy to get into Tel Aviv with cheap municipal parking on the South side.. We also found it easy to get onto the Ayalon highway and drive everywhere we wanted to. Local buses seem OK too. Hope to return.

Oct 2016We arrived round 01:00 AM, and was greeted by Noa, who had waited patiently. She had bought groceries for us, and also baked a cake. A very pleasant surprise, indeed. The apartment is great. It was clean, tidy, and well equipped. It feels like living in your own home. The beach is just a short walk away, and old Jaffa is also within walking distance. Noa has been very service minded throughout our stay. We highly recommend this apartment!

We made good use of the bus and train system and found getting around quite easy. The best part was our host. Noa provided us with a generous supply of pantry items and was in regular contact, making sure all was well with us. Jaffa is a great location. So glad we chose this listing!

Oct 2016This is a great little apartment. Very clean and contemporary. My husband and I stayed for a week and had a lovely time. The owner Noa was wonderful. She met us upon arrival and provided us with all the info we needed and included a booklet with a map and local restaurant recommendations (Paul's Cafe was great). The beach was right across the street and we saw the most amazing sunsets! Old Jaffa with the beautiful views, shops and St Peters Church was a 15 minute walk. We rented bikes just a few steps from the apartment and went riding all over. Thank you Noa for arranging our taxi to the airport! Mar 2016The apartment is in a residential neighbourhood, close to good parking (which is rare in Tel Aviv) and nice walking areas. It is very clean and has everything one would need for a longer stay. The host is very kind, friendly, and helpful. It is only a 15 minute walk to the historic old town center of Jaffa.

Sep 2019Surprise. The outside of this apartment looks rough and the staircases need an update, but as soon as you close the door behind you, you Will be surprises. This vacation apartment is tastefully designed, clean, well equipped, high ceilings, white walls, good beds. We profoundly enjoyed it. Close to restaurants (Cassis is the best) a minute walk to sandy beach, bike rental, 500 yards from stores. 20 minutes bike ride to Old Jaffa. By car it takes as long. The hacarmen sook is a blast. Parking before the door. The very only thing I did not like is that a few of the beautiful ceramic floor tiles were loose. And oh yes: No elevator. But nice view sideways of the sea on the narrow balcony. Worth your money.

Nov 2016So happy we booked Noa's apartment, our very first experience booking with VRBO and it was GREAT! Pictures are true-a beautiful, clean apt with all the comforts of home! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed discovering the Jaffa Flea Market, beaches to the south of the apt, walking along the promenade and coming back to a newly renovated apt to rest. ^_^ Noa's attention to details, such as a few groceries (too exhausted to shop when we arrived), her delicious cake and information packet with her recommendations for shopping, eating and site seeing, etc., etc.,etc! Then we returned 3 weeks later from Jerusalem to rent Noa's 2-bedroom apt (listing #654756), next to this 1-bedroom...WOW!!!

Sep 2015My wife, 2 year old daughter and I had a great stay in this apartment by the beach. We wanted to find a place that was very close to Tel-Aviv, but didn't have the parking issues we would have there. This apartment was a perfect fit. Every day we visited family in different parts of the greater Tel-Aviv area, the Ayalon Highway was a short 5 minute drive away. When we came back at night, there was always parking available right by the apartment. In Tel-Aviv, this might cost $20/day. There are also a number of parks nearby that we visited when our daughter needed to run around, and of course a very nice beach is just across the street.
The apartment itself has a lot of character. It is built in the old Arab style, with tall ceilings. It has been nicely renovated and was very comfortable for all of us. Another great aspect of staying in Jaffa is the new boardwalk. It is beautiful, with lots of green/grass right next to the sea. A perfect place to walk in the morning or evening.
Our host was very attentive and checked in with us every few days to see if we needed anything, and answered all of our questions. She also planned to meet a family member of mine before we arrived so he could drop off a crib.
If you are looking for a place that is close to all the action, but not too crowded, and with a beautiful beach and a number of restaurants nearby this is a great spot.

Old City Telvaviv-Yafo to the north is great for shopping or just to see the sites. We rented a car (a small one) to get around. The driving on Yefet is wild with bikes and motorcycles racing around you. Oh yeah and lots of honking. Overall the people are very helpful and friendly. We had a few a great time.

Dec 2016I stayed in Noa's apartment in Jaffa for the entire month of November (2016). The unit was a wonderful place to spend during my visit to Israel. First of all, the unit looked just like the pictures on VRBO. A beautiful, very comfortable, bright, airy, smartly decorated place that fit all of my needs. I really liked having the washer and drying outside my door which made it easy to do the laundry. The small kitchen has everything and it all seems and works like the appliances are brand new. Visitors that came to my apartment said "wow."
Noa couldn't have been more hospitable, providing wine and some very generous snacks upon my arrival. During the course of the month, she checked in with me routinely to see if I needed anything. She even gave me a ride into Tel Aviv one night where I was meeting someone for dinner.
The apartment is located in Jaffa, in the Ajami neighborhood. As noted in the pictures, the apartment is right across the street from the ocean and you are only a few steps from Midron Park. I am a runner, so the access allowed me to run beautiful 5 miles loops up the promenade past the Old City of Jaffa and along the beach in Tel Aviv. I ended using the bus quite a bit. The #10 is less than a 10 minute walk over to Yeet street and takes you into Central Tel Aviv. There are several amazing restaurants within 3-4 blocks and there is a great cafe to get coffee (Cafe 60) just 20 minutes walk towards Jaffa. Yefet Street is really interesting. It's a mixed Arab-Jewish neighborhood (the Arab-Jewish Community Center is right across form the apartment). I felt safe at all times and walked home fairly late on many nights and never had an issue.
I had no major issues with the apartment. The Wifi was a bit unpredictable, but Noa was really responsive and I know she is working with the internet service provider. The apartment is across from a school (which was interesting), but sometimes the school song bell (e.g., London Bridge is Falling Down) would go off fairly loudly in the morning during school. The apartment is across from a soccer/football court where kids and adults play. The lights go out by 9 pm, so it's no issue. I was there for a month, so I probably noticed more things than people would for a shorter term stay.
Really a great place that I would stay at again.

Aug 2018If you are looking to avoid the Tel Aviv tourist trap and want to live like a local, this is the perfect place. I stayed for a month. The apartment is comfortable and the kitchen has everything a person could possibly need. It is air-conditioned, and the bedroom has a ceiling fan. The porch is a great place to sit or a great place to eat. The bathroom is large and has a great shower. There is plenty of free parking.
It is also the perfect triathletic paradise. Just across the street and down the hill is a swimming beach. Park Midron Yafo contains miles of multi-purpose paths that are great for walking, running, or biking. I rented a bike from Tal at 51 Shenkin (just up from the Carmel Market), and that was the perfect way to get around.
The location is also fairly convenient. I had a car for part of the time, but the bus is conveniently located on Yefet Street and Pierre Mendes France. The 10 goes to the Carmel Market, up Allenby Street, and to the Central Train Station. I preferred the 83 bus that goes to the Central Bus Station. From there, it is easy to catch the 405 bus to Jerusalem. Jaffa Port is about a 15 minute walk. There are plenty of local restaurant options.
For groceries, Yefet Street has everything between Pierre Mendes France and Donolo Ha Rofe. On the corner of Yefet and Pierre Mendes is Abu Hilweh which is great for chicken and meat. The service is very friendly. Just north of there is a fruit and vegetable "souk." Heading south of Abu Hilweh, on the same side of Yefet, is a small fish store. On the corner of Donolo Ha Rofe and Yefet is an adult beverage store. Across the street from there is Tran's Coffee Shop that has a large variety of spices, fresh dates, and other dried fruits. The prices at all places are comparable to other markets in the area and in Tel Aviv proper.
Best of all, though, was Noa's extremely customer-service oriented friendliness. Her response time to my initial inquiry was superb! Her reputation for "welcome home" gifts exceeded my expectations. Every week, she checked in with me to see if there was anything I needed. She is an excellent host!
My only concern is the noise from the soccer court directly across the apartment. Almost every night, men played robust games of soccer with a lot of shouting and arguing. Kedem Street is also noisier than I thought it would be. But this minor annoyance was well worth putting up with in light of all the other positives. I will definitely stay here again!

Feb 2017Apartment was exactly as described, we rented the smaller of the two apartments offered. The apartment had everything that we needed. It is modern, very clean, well stocked and a great location. Parking right out in front if renting a vehicle. Noa is a pleasure to rent from! Will rent again!

Plenty of room for a family gathering or a quiet space to watch the seas and the local environment. Parking was a real bonus too.
Loved feeding the birds, walking to the local shops and easy access by foot (20 mins) to the port and many of the other beautiful areas of Tel Aviv, the markets, old railway station and artist areas. We have already and would recommend staying here for anyone looking for a charming retreat in Jaffa.

A 3 minute walk to the Sea!”
I arrived to an immaculate and carefully maintained apartment. The owner was warm and welcoming – left wine and home-baked cake for my arrival. Owner was attentive to my needs and generous with her time. Washer-dryer appreciated during my stay of several weeks. The kitchen was well-equipped; the bathroom contemporary with a fantastic shower. The rooms were light and airy - high-ceilinged and Arab tile floors. I especially loved the neighborhood ambiance - a children's playground and much used soccer court just across the street - hearing the Muslim call to prayer, the neighborhood rooster competing with the birds singing in the park just two doors away. Several excellent restaurants within just a few blocks. A beautiful 15 minute walk along the Coast (cool sea breeze and warm Mediterranean sun) to the historic Jaffa Port and Art Colony, For those wanting a quiet home to return to, and easy access to exciting adventures, this apartment and Jaffa can't be beat! Highest recommendation. I intend to return in 2019!
