Oct 2022Wow! What a great location! We were not in the thick of the vacationers at the Ocean where there are condos on top of condos. We were able to relax with the views of the Marina and the beautiful breeze. We had ease to get to all locations both close and away. It at the Wharf, there were items for everyone to enjoy in our family! It was fantastic! Becky’s place was perfect! I’d recommend every single time!

Jul 2020We typically make it to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area about every 2-3 years, and we've typically stayed at condos with beach front access. Our daughters were originally scheduled for a dance competition at the event center right next door to this property and so we booked this condo to be near the event. Of course, Covid-19 had different plans for us and so the dance competition was canceled--but we decided to stick with our vacation anyway to get a change of scenery.
First, communication with the property owner was outstanding. She very clearly gave us instructions on where to park, how to access the building, where to get a luggage cart for unloading, and how to get inside the unit. She even gave us some suggestions on things to do in the area, directions to the nearest supermarket, and other valuable info. This was the week of July 4th which meant there would be a special event on site, and she checked in during the stay to make sure we had received the wrist bands we'd need to access the building during the celebration.
The property itself at the Wharf is very nice and well maintained. Lots of restaurants, shops, a ferris wheel, a mini golf course, and other entertainment options. While this property is about a 10 minute drive from the nearest public beach option, it makes up for it with the Oasis, an exclusive access water park. This place has a large wave pool, a sandy area with a volleyball net, a kiddie area with small slides, a huge lazy river, and some reasonably priced food and beverage options on site. The whole family enjoyed the Oasis multiple days during our stay.
The unit itself was fabulous--immaculately clean, very spacious, items well-organized, tasteful decor, and all the amenities you could want. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal, and it even has an icemaker separate from the freezer (in case you want to fill a cooler) and a wine chiller built in. Beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding. Two full bathrooms with nice showers, and the master has a separate jetted tub. The dining table has seating for 6, and there's also seating for 6 outside at the table on the huge balcony where you can sit and watch the boats go in and out of the marina. There's also a gas grill on the balcony, which is far more convenient than what I've seen at other properties.
Overall we had a great time and we HIGHLY recommend this property and unit!

With restaurants and shops just steps away, the marina to walk around, the ferris wheel, the pool area (The Oasis), Sunny Lady Dolphin Cruise--it was great to have that all right there, and made going back to the condo for naps incredibly easy. I read some other reviews of condos here in general that complained about how far away the Oasis was, but honestly, it really isn't THAT far (maybe a quarter of a mile?). You could pretty easily walk it, in my opinion. That being said, we did drive there each time--mostly because we didn't give ourselves much wiggle room with lunch and naptimes, so it was more a time thing for us than anything. Anyway, the kids LOVED the Oasis--especially the kids' area (small area with little water geysers, little slides, shallow pool).Parking at the condo was very easy, and it was convenient to have 509 right by the elevator (don't have to walk far at all once you get to the 5th floor). The condo itself was very clean. There were plenty of linens. We had to buy more paper towel but otherwise got by with what was provided. As another reviewer noted, there are some stains on the upholstered dining room chairs, which could probably be cleaned if enough elbow grease and the right cleaner was used, but it didn't really bother us. They were clean, just stained. (And that's why we don't have upholstered dining room chairs at our own home with little kids, haha.) The condo is very spacious. Balcony is great to sit on, though the chairs' paint looked worse for the wear (I'm guessing the salty air does a number on them?). We appreciated the two bottles of water and bag of Goldfish that were waiting for us upon arrival. The kitchen was great--spotless and everything you need plus some. The whole condo felt very cozy and had a lovely tropical theme. It was the perfect home-away-from-home for a week, and the location provided the perfect blend of action and relaxation. Definitely would stay here again!!

Could not use balcony or even see out (grill in front of window ) She had moved a guest before + said" it cost her alot of money" We did her a big favor at our inconvenience + stayed because she said she would reimburse us that week. We saved her alot of time + money , then she only reimbursed us $214 ! Dining room chairs badly stained +broken, outdoor set old rusty broken + uncomfortable. Oasis was closed, fitness center , zipline + minigolf don't exist. Owner was unresponsive to all these issues. Beware - they are STILL painting ! I have rented 20 properties, have Never left a bad review , have never had this many problems that were not addressed.

Jun 2020We just returned home from a wonderful long weekend getaway with my daughter, son in law and granddaughter. Becky's condo was clean and cozy! A wonderful location in the Wharf! We could stand on the balcony and have front row seats to the festivities below! Sitting on the balcony in the evening and watching the sun set and all of the boats in the Marina was the best! We will definitely be returning! Becky is a wonderful host!

Jun 2020We enjoyed every minute of our stay! The condo was fantastic with plenty of room for us to spread out. The kitchen had a great wine fridge and ice maker. Listening to the live music on the large balcony while enjoying a glass of wine was probably my favorite part of the entire trip!

Aug 2020Very clean! We recommend the sugar shack burgers! They were amazing! Becky and Lisa were great with communicating with us for all our needs. We would definitely stay again! The beach is about a 10 minute drive away. The Oasis was great for everyone and very relaxing. I would just drive there instead of doing the shuttle. The Oasis is in the wharf, but about 1/2 mile up road from condo. Easy check in and check out!

Apr 2021Very clean, lots of room, comfortable and handy to the Bama Coast Cruisin... Loved the large bathrooms and King bedrooms. Ate on the patio and watched the boats come in at night. We had a blast! I would recommend this condo at the very top of my list. I am a clean freak so I was happy there. Keith & Debbie Shields - Amory, MS

Nov 2021This was a great spot! We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were great, clean and comfortable. Lots to do and see. I will definitely book again when in the area.
