The Village Siargao

The village siargao was a great place to stay the room was big clean and comfortable We used the beach across the road which is another resort owned by the same company We used the paddle boards ect there just go before lowtide we got picked up there for the island hopping also.its only short trip in to town by trike We enjoyed our stay would recommend to stay here

Everything was good Only thing we needed was a wine glass in the room And they need to clean rubbish off the beach every morning makes it look more beautiful without the bottles ect Still a great place

The staff were all polite and friendly. They are acccommodating and would always greet you whenever you come across one another. The bed and pillows were comfy. AC worked well and it's good that they have wifi. We had power interruptions on a Sunday but only on a few intervals since they have a generator which was great! So we didn't have any gadgets running out of battery. They have welcome drinks and warm towel when you check in. The process was smooth and the room was ready-made. Warm and cold bath works well. The room and lavatory was big enough and I like every little detail like the mosquito coils they light up in the afternoon so there'd be less insects at night. They have toiletries so you have one less thing to worry about. You will have free access to the beach across Sandy Feet, which is okay but considering the tides, we barely used the beach access. Breakfast was okay and is included with your stay, they will ask for it in advance and deliver it in your Villa so it was convenient. They also provide beach towels and is complete with Electric Kettle, Mircrowave oven and cutleries. Reusable bottled waters can be brought outside the Villa so you can help reduce plastic bottle wastes. Overall, the place was peaceful and our stay was very comfortable.

Obvious opportunity is the location if you do not know how to drive a motorcycle. Although you can message the reception for help to get you a trike to ride, it's costly compared to renting your own motorcycle. Based on the General overview, they provide room service for meals, but when we arrived, unfortunately the kitchen is closed from 2pm to 5pm. The next day, there's no cook or chef avail so we also had to go out and find where to eat and take our meals. The place is also not accessible for people with walking disability or would need help coming out of a wheel chair as the pathway to the villa is filled with gravel, then there's about 3 to 4 flights of stairs to get inside the Villa. Their common area is just in the reception lobby, probably would be good to have a hall or a restaurant, or a luggage room as we had to leave our things when we checked out to eat lunch somewhere else. The stay here was good for experience, not ideal for long stay duration as I would choose somewhere in central GL, not anywhere in Malinao

The staff are so nice, hospitable and very kind. They treated us extra nicely and was able to help us with our difficulties and other questions regarding our short vacation.

The room was quite Big and staff really kind and helpfull.

The cottages are new, big, clean, really nice and confortable. Breakfast is delicious and served in your terrace. The beach is in front of the hotel, and they offer paddle surf for free. There’s an amazing chill area in front of the beach. Larry and Angel helped us with everything we needed: arranging tours, renting a motorbike, recomending restaurants, spots, etc. We’d definetly come back there.

The cottage is unbeatable, has all the details you can dream (bathroom products are super nice, towels, sheets, etc) . Interior design and space is very nice. The garden is very nice.

If you do not have a vehicle, since they only have food on request and not in a short notice, it is a little bit unconvinient, since there is not much tricicles on the area to go to General Luna. Nevertheless staff is superfriendly and always offer you alternatives. The fact the plot is along the road makes the place a little noisy (althought there is not much traffic).

Staff were amazing. Breakfast is good. If you want a serene place and location to stay in this is it. Will definitely come back here.

Shower water pressure could be stronger but given that Siargao was affected by a strong typhoon it may have affected it.
