Sep 2022The room was clean with all the facilities I could want. The bed was soft and the table appropriate for working. The check-in and checkout was smooth. You pick up the keys from the nearby famima & drop it there. Short walk to Dotonbori.
No dryer. Hidden dust under the furniture. If actually booked for large groups, the space might be too small.

The floor is dusty and has a squeeking sound near the toilet and bathroom area. The air-conditioning units and vents are dusty too needs maintenance as well. Other than this everything is good.

Very dusty, the water heater was broken/not able to turn on. Imagine showering in the cold winter.

Dec 2021The facilities were good. I would prefer if they also provided combs, but overall it was fine. The house was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and they also have a portable wifi that you can carry out for your trips.
The position is not bad, but not 100% good. It is 10 minutes walk from Dotonbori, which is good. But the nearest train station is more than 10 minutes walk. This is not very bad, but it can be tiring when you are carrying a lot of heavy luggage.
This is the main reason I gave 5 points overall for this place. The day before we came, the owner sent me the instruction about filling in the form about the guests' information, including passport number. But that day, I was on my vacation in another city and did not check my email. The next day I came to FamilyMart to get the key, and I could not get because I had not finished filling in the form. But since we are living in Japan, we did not bring our passport in our trip, only the resident card (在留カード). It took us one hour to contact the owner, since we had to contact through the company. We got to FamilyMart at around 5 p.m., but could not get our key until 6. This made us very upset. If this form is important, why can't the owner send one week before our stay, but only one day? If the guests are on vacation on the day before like me, how can they check their emails?

Sep 2020Extremely comfortable beds - the most important for me. Fully-furnished. Nice new-ish apartment building. Really clean. Eating utensils and cooking stove and microwave oven available. Lots of electrical outlets which is rare. Location very near Shinsaibashi, which was the most important to us. Had a washing machine. It only has air dry, but there’s a coin laundry shop right next to the key machine family mart that has a combo washer/dryer machine that calls your Japanese phone number when it is about to finish. Location is right in front of a convenience store and a minute walk to Super Tamade, the cheapest grocery (but good quality) I have ever been to in Japan (I think I got 200g of salmon sashimi for like less than 300 yen?). Quite a good bargain.
Second room didn’t have airconditioning so needed to leave door slightly open for that. Was a bit confused during the check-out (check out button on key machine tried to connect us to call center but it wouldn’t connect, so we had to call support and it turns out we just needed to put the keys back). And you only get one key. We complain a lot but these aren’t much of a big deal for the price.
