Jun 2021We were pleasantly surprised with the size of our 3 bedroom condo. The condo and property is very well maintained. It is a “vacation club” property. So be prepared to be be invited to tour the property and a presentation on buying a membership to RCI. We kindly said we were not interested and no one gave us a hard time. Would stay here again due to the value and great location near Coligny Beach. Weiterlesen

Normally when we stay somewhere, we notice standard neglect like dust and basic cleanliness issues but we saw absolutely NO ISSUES with this condo - it was clean and family friendly. The staff was very nice, and the pool was just fabulous. There's no view, but we knew to expect that so it wasn't a problem - we had the best time here. Thanks for a great vacation! Mar 2022We had a wonderful stay and everything was wonderful. Our adult children and their partners came for part of the trip and every enjoyed their time!
While we ate out quite a bit, with tons of options close by, we did cook a few nights. All the cooking pots, pans and utensils were great.

May 2019We had a fabulous holiday and this condo was exactly what we were expecting! Quiet community; 10 minute walk to beach; resort like amenities with lovely pool, hot tub, lazy river; spacious and pristine accommodation - great for either large family or multiple families traveling together - we had 7 adults and 2 children and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Laundry in unit allowed us to pack lite; with grocery store next door, we cooked breakfast in the Unit and ate one meal out which allowed us to keep within our travel budget👍�🏼� Weiterlesen

May 2021Want to be: Lied to? Treated rudely upon arrival? Surrounded by less than desirable people? Up all night with extremely noisy neighbors on all sides? Then this is the place for you! Let me first state that out of the many places we have stayed previously (including this same resort) via VRBO, we have never left anything less than a 5-star rating for a property we have used. We are not hard to please, and we are very easy-going people. But this stay was not at all like out first stay a year and a half ago. AND WE WILL NOT RETURN! We booked our stay in October 2020 (7 months in advance), & we immediately reached out to request a specific room. We were guaranteed a specific room at that time. However, upon checking in, we were RUDELY informed that our guaranteed room (I provided proof) had been changed due to a “last minute change.” We were switched to a room “just as nice” in the same building. But when we entered our room, it was definitely NOT “just as nice.” Their website states that their rooms are refurbished and renovated every single year, but this must be only for select units, because there is no way our dated room had been renovated anytime within the past 5 years. I could really care less about decor and styles of paint/furnishings, etc, when I am staying somewhere, as long as it is clean and comfortable. (Regarding cleanliness, please note what I am about to say has nothing to do with the amazing job the housekeeping staff does here. It’s the only positive, other than proximity to the beach, that I can note in this review.). But the carpet was so gross I had to wear socks the entire time I was inside our room. Again, nothing to do with housekeeping, as they do vacuum, but this carpet was so worn that the grime could not be removed. It was absolutely disgusting. And why would you put carpet in a beach resort, anyway?!? Also, our “new” room was surrounded on all sides, which meant my kids had to listen to people who must have been night-owl acrobats all night long. The reception staff act like they are somehow (despite working at a resort) better than you and were completely condescending and did not even attempt to offer any resolution to THEIR blatant error. There’s the kids’ activity room, which used to have blocks and books, but is now void of kid-friendly activities. There’s the pool. Love the lazy river, etc, but when surrounded by other guests, you realize you paid a LOT of money to be around some shady individuals. Scary!!! Weiterlesen

Jul 2021This was our first ever trip to Hilton Head. I traveled with my mom and sister. We went into it kind of blind and I'm just so glad we landed at Coral Sands! Great location and great service! Our 3 bedroom unit was perfect in giving us the right amount of space. The lazy river was just what we wanted and used it everyday. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and tried everything they knew to show us a good time. They even helped with transportation by using their private vehicles - thank you Iris and Bull! Jun 2021This is the second time we've stayed at Coral Sands North. We chose to stay here because the children enjoy the lazy river pool. (It is our second time staying at this specific location.) Sep 2021The location is very nice for us being a family with small children. Short walk to the beach or use the HHI trolleys to shuttle you back and forth. Located centrally with plenty of options to walk or drive to for grocery/Restaurants. The grounds are very clean and we noticed they take extra care with pest control spraying. Dishwasher powder, one laundry load of detergent and towels are provided.
You can rent bikes, beach towels are provided and you may request extra trash bags or dishwashing detergent. We purchased some extra dish soap and laundry detergent since we were staying for a longer period.

Feb 2019The condo was lovely and very well appointed. Our only suggestion is to have a smart TV. Not that you want to be watching TV much, it would have been nice to have access to Netflix etc, we had noisy people above us, partying till 2 am but we did not allow it to ruin our stay. Weiterlesen

Apr 2021Long story short - the water in the condo has a strong odor. It was so bad that I could not stay. Contacted the emergency line but got transferred three times and no one answered. Eventually, we had to contact emergency maintenance guy. But we were told that nothing could be done and we had to stay in the same room for the night. It was not a great experience. They moved us to another room when we kept trying to call and asked to talk to a manager. I most likely will not return to the same vacation rental. Weiterlesen

Jul 2019Had a great time. 2 blocks from the beach and shopping. Trolley is available if taking a lot to the beach. We were a family of 10 and had enough space in the 3 BR condo, it advertises 1760 sq feet. It seemed smaller than but we still had plenty of room. Very clean and comfortable. The grandkids loved the lazy river/pool. You do need to bring all food supply’s. There is nothing there. Also bring dishwashing liquid. They did have dishwasher soap and some laundry detergent, but we used up theirs and what we brought. The ice maker didn’t work and the water was Luke warm, wanting cold water from fridge.There is a grocery store right next door which came in handy. I’d highly recommend it. Weiterlesen

May 2018From the moment we hit the island to the instant we pulled into the property, my family was pleasantly surprised. The 3br condo was beautiful!! It had all the comforts of home! (Including washer/dryer). Check-in was quick, easy & fast. The staff was extremely friendly & knowledgeable about nearby activities, dinner, drinks & the awesome live entertainment! The short walk to the beach was always great fun but there's a pool with a lazy river and hot tub to enjoy as well. This was our first trip to the island. On day one my family asked to book another more extended vacation here at this exact same resort. We shall return!! It's truly beautiful. Weiterlesen

May 2019Beautiful condo with large/nice pool area that was great for the kids! Walking/biking distance to the beach, shopping & restaurants. We rented bike for the whole week & rarely used the car! Only downside was back deck did not get any sunlight & backed up to rather busy road & there was a lot of road construction going on while we were there.
