There were quite a few issues with our bathroom. We could not take a full shower when we checked in the first night because the shower drain wasnt draining. We felt it was an issue that can wait till the morning to bother the staff with. When then came in to fix it, it took a while because the maintenance staff couldn't fix it and we had to wait till 3:30pm. So we were not able to use our bathroom until the evening again. Running back and forth to the lobby restroom was an inconvenience. The following day the towel rack fell on my husband when he was getting his towel and then the shower lever was coming off. When all our bathroom issues were resolved ...the dilemma of noise was next up. We had thought that the banquet staff were moving around tables and chairs at midnight ..but it wasnt a banquet or meeting room above us or next to us..all guest rooms. We notified the front desk about the loud banging noises but I think it only made the noise worse.
Breakfast was on our reservation plans...it was great with an array of choices but having a roach crawl on the wall next to me was awful and then on another morning a roach crawled up on my leg!
BUT the staff tried to help alleviate all the problems we had the best they can AND that we can say stood out more than ANYTHING bad that happened.

Allan from the breakfast, as well as Mr. Joms and Ruby! That’s why we came back again after three weeks. And we will definitely come back again when I come back to the Philippines

Jan 2022We like the facilities, the food, and the completeness of all the necessary things we need during our stay. My family stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The staff were nice and accommodating. They also upgraded our room! We also like the fancy barbershop in groundfloor. That was an amazing experience.

Room management is poor. Towels were not placed after cleaning the room, so we asked for it, but they gave it to us a few hours later. I was able to shower in the evening. Staff lunch boxes were left in the hallway every day and smelled. but they was very kind.

May 2019The staff did very well despite the volume of people because it was Holy week. I requested a unit overlooking the pool and I was gladly accommodated. I really like the layout of the 2 BR apartment, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen utensils are almost complete. Will definitely come back with my family again.

The Ascott Hotel has got a little tired looking. Ive been staying in this hotel now for more than 12 years. Carpets in rooms could do with a good clean. I liked the washingmachine/dryer, that was very handy.
Breakfast is aligned more for local eating, could do with more fruit choices, as always the omelettes are good.

May 2022The room we got is a one bedroom studio suite and it is huge, it has a full kitchen, dining, a big living room and a comfortable bedroom. The mall is just one elevator down, there are lots of establishment ( restaurants, cafes, shopping interests etc..) to choose from. the location is very convenient.

Mar 2021The room. It was a 2-br executive suite and we just love it. Clean, beautiful ambiance, comfortable beds, truly a home away from home. We're frequent guests at Ascott Makati. Everytime we come to Manila, we stay here but because of the pandemic, it was one year before we could come back and stay here again and we're glad we did.
This time I couldn't give a perfect rating because on the second morning, our breakfast was not delivered. The night before I notified "guest service" that my Order Sheet was ready and placed on the table provided outside our room for pick up, and the lady said she'll forthwith send somebody to pick it up. The next morning, no breakfast came. It was a good thing our daughter had Lalamove deliver Jap.food for us to the hotel. That night I again prepared the Order Sheet for the following morning, and it was a repeat. At 9:10 am I called guest service again, and then a lady from the restaurant called saying our order never reached them. Anyway, the lady took my order on the phone and after sometime, the food came.
Definitely coming back here again. Thank you for the great service.

When we arrive around 7pm , our room are still not ready and the front didn't explain well the issue, he still want us to wait and he don't even told us how long are we going to wait. Normally check in time 3pm the room should be ok.
We complain to the Manager and they able to solve the issue and give us the room upgrade.

Feb 2022The place felt homey and at the same time luxurious. The location was perfect. We were right above glorietta mall. Also when you leave Ascott there is also SM mall around the corner which takes about less than 5mins to walk to. The Ayala garden is also walking distance (15mins). There are tons of restaurants and mini grocery stores near this place which was perfect for my family. The internet was fast. The gym and pool was perfect.

The fact that check in was at 3pm but despite arriving there after 3pm, the room was still not ready. And when allowed to go to the room, there weŕe no towels we had to ask for it. Meaning the roomnwas not well prpeared.

It seems that Booking customers are no longer important to many hotels and this is not the first time such an act has happened. When I arrived at the hotel, they put me in a very bad, worn out and very old room that was not like the picture, and when I asked to change it I waited more than an hour to change, Booking company should reconsider and inform all hotels that their customers are of paramount importance

Mar 2022The front desk staff is efficient, pleasant, and extremely accommodating and allowed us to check-in early at like 11:30am. We got to the hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. Almost every staff members we've encountered were delightful and eager to help. The room was spacious and well equipped with the things we needed. We also like that it's close to the shopping malls. It was convenient that we could order food outside of their property and have it delivered by their staff to our room. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We will definitely come back to this hotel when we need a place to stay in Makati.
This happened on our check-out day. I didn't expect that they don't offer room service during breakfast unless you have a good excuse to have the meal in your room. I had to tell the girl working in the restaurant that I have a toddler and it was more convenient for us to have breakfast in our room instead of having it in their restaurant. That was the only time she agreed to have it delivered to our room. I think it would be better if the guests could choose where they could have their breakfast without any conditions, besides, that was already included in the booking.

Apr 2022The facility was clean. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen utensils were provided so we can even cook if we wanted to. The location was right next to a mall so it's very convenient.
The bathroom could use a little bit of touching up.

Must be the house keeping clean daily and change the old and dirty towels change the tv to new model means smart tv. Some guards follow the gest to pay money specially in main doors and in 6 floor.

Mar 2022The best location for a serviced hotel since it’s inside Glorietta mall. Out the door and into the mall is so convenient.
It’s in need of renovation. Carpet is worn, the headboards are scuffed. It’s clean but already dated and old. It’s also puzzling to me why they limit the number of people with free breakfast. ie. 6 people allowed in 2bdroom suite but only 4 people can eat free. You get charged for the extra eaters.
