By The Sea Duplex Condo

The location was reasonably good

Duplex condo was very sparingly decorated. Insufficient furniture. Master bathroom had floor tiles that were cracked, sharp and loose. It was dangerous to step on it. Even though reported, host did not respond until the check out time.

The location was amazing.

Probably a safe box where the key can be collected at any time.

location was great, and the apartment is very large, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the beach.

tile Floor in master ensuite had numerous broken tiles, one AC in central location non functional, extreme lack of furnishings, especially the terrace with no furniture, master bedroom had two single beds rather than a queen or king bed. when asking the host about missing toilet paper, received a non sensical response. and lastly, the elevator was shut down down for the last 2 days of our stay for planned maintenance. And even though owners were advised a month earlier( memo in lobby ) the host did not advise us this prior to our booking so that we could decide if we still wanted to stay. To sum this up, if booking.com is keeping this location, the host needs to step up and improve their rental business, they need to improve their property and guest communications immensely. if we were not able to accommodate the elevator issue it would have been a major issue for us. These issues when put together take what would have been an excellent experience, and make it a mediocre one.

Hassel-free check-in and check-out. Good security , with plenty of space in the duplex. There were a washing machine, a dryer and clothes line in the laundry room, even liquid detergent was provided. The parking bay - just right in front of the tower entrance, convenient to load our baggage. You may want to bring your beverages, 3-in-1, drinking water, or otherwise, boil your own water with the kettle there.

The pillows were generally hard, probably old of use. Would be better if more than 2 pillows were provided in each bedroom. One of the frying pans/pots were stained, which you wouldn't want to use. A pair of kitchen scissors would be of good use.

Big and spacious, nice view from the living room. Easy access to beach. Walking distance to all Ferringhi cafe, hotels, restaurants etc

The floor was not clean, better to bring your own house slippers. Had a bad rot smell, I think is from the rotting bathroom cabinet. Needed to air the place, smell better the second day. The beds are not very comfortable, sheets are a bit stained.
