Good but can be better
Mar 2022The kinda classic vintage feel. But also simple & cute. I believe the lady is the owner & she’s great. The El Canto staffs were also helpful.
No TV at the room. During our stay, it’s very difficult to sleep. The surrounding was very noisy from night to the next day. With the lorries, cars honking & etc. The aircond was not very cold. We were sweating until the rain came to save the day.

so annoying walking across the communal area for the toilet and using padlock and key every time. also very uncomfortable to shower because the shower curtain isn’t very good and you’re right next to communal space

Mar 2022looks great w it’s own stylistic flairs (fits my aesthetic!). The bed is SO SO COMFY and so are the sheets - SO SOFT. Large room with a lot of space. love that it’s on top of El Centro, so you can easily get delicious food and drinks.
Aircon needs a bit of servicing maybe because it takes very long to cool the room. but not such a huge complaint because the room does get cold when it starts working - maybe the room is just large? The bathroom is a bit uncomfortable as it’s in the balcony but it’s an interesting experience nevertheless.

Room not ready because of overstay situation.Went to use the coffee maker but no coffee.Took the filthy coffee pot downstairs and James gave me a coffee.Also soap and shampoo containers empty and he said he would organise.Think the owners were at the bar having a beer at 11am and doing the books.
Great location, value for money and cosy with the loveliest staff members on hand. I miss it already!
Feb 2023Located in a mini hub of amazing bars and cafes, if you are looking for something uniquely different, cosy and comfortable then look no further!
In addition the owners are so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay exactly what we wanted it to be! Would highly recommend!
