Springdale Serviced Residence Guangzhou

The location is awesome. Very convenient. The apartment is big and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

The breakfast choice was quite small, nothing Western. The staff at the breakfast wasn’t nice or friendly. The cleaning ladies had to be reminded to clean some particular places (like a mirror), otherwise they’d miss something.

It would help if the listing gave the Chinese name/characters for the hotel & address- easier for a taxi driver. If this is already done, I just didn't see it.

Having stayed at many hotels this year alone, I’m very familiar with what can and can’t be done at hotels/residences. Needing to check out early because I’m a contracted employee having to be charged fully because of a “non refund” policy that the hotel apparently has because of the listing on booking.com. Instead of being accommodating towards a potential returning customer I was forced to miss a contracted opportunity in another city because I would be charged in excess of 8,000 after 6 nights out of 19. That conveniently no one got back to me on after having me go through an entire process of having to tell them why I need to leave and for them to refer to policy anyway once I absolutely needed to checkout early (12/19 nights) anyway. Only then to have them accidentally have me sign for only the nights I stayed (exactly what they said couldn’t be done) before realizing the mistake and having me sign for the full price anyway. This comes off across as disingenuous and money hungry. Be very wary of having to spend your money for a facility like this.

Location is good. Victoria mall is next door with Uniqlo, Gu, McDonalds to name a few. There is a link to the underground mall and the other Malls opposite (where Sheraton is). We were a group with young kids and old folks. The property is near enough for them to walk back to rest while the rest continued to shop. Plenty of restaurants around. Room wise - we had a 3BR apartment which was perfect. Everyone loved it.

I was excited to stay at this place, without any hesitation I'd stay only here if I come to GZ next time. Their breakfast is awesome, they fry fresh waffles 🧇 right there for you! Simply delicious 😋 thank you so much for the awesome weekend!
