Aug 2019We loved that it was in walking distance to the beach (2 minutes) and if we forgot something at the property it wasnt a big deal to go back. Enjoyed the view of the ocean with our morning coffee. Walking up the three flights of stairs could get tiring but worth it for the cost, convenience and view. The property could use an update of furniture and the stove was quite old.

Aug 2020This rental REALLY needs updating! The couch and chair are covered with blankets because there are gross, bedroom furniture is very sparse and so water damaged Goodwill wouldn’t resell it, the washer turned my towels reddish and the beds are AWFUL.! One bed only had a mattress. I had to wipe the fans down because they were so caked with dust I was worried they would fall on our beds.
It does have one large tv in the unit (None in bedrooms) but it had four remotes and we could never figure out how to turn off closed captioning. The location is great but do understand it is on the third floor with stairs only. Not a problem for us but not ideal if you have issues with stairs. New paint and new carpet didn’t fix this unit!!!!

Sep 2020The lady at the checkin real estate office was terribly rude. The lock into our property only worked well a few times, lots of fighting with the door, sliding doors didn’t slide without a huge amount of effort, the caulk in the bathroom and kitchen was old and terribly discolored and gross looking, the pool was nice, the beach access was nice, the space was nice, it was good to have a kitchen and dinning room table. I guess it was good for the money.

Sep 2021The entrance door is a thin old wooden door easily kicked in and broken into, no second storm or security door. Have to enter the unit from the sliding doors which could not be locked at night and hard to open and close. In these times, security is not optional. The curtain rod in maser bedroom was hanging down ripped out from the wall when we arrived but I managed to close the curtains somewhat.The second bedroom closet is locked so you cannot bring another couple because they have to hang their clothe in your master bedroom closet. I don't remember if the description mentions that there is no elevator so don't bring any older person who can't climb 42 stairs. The washing machine is on its way out, makes a awful rumbling noise and someone will not have a washer when renting the unit. I reported it to Bryant real estate. No TVs in bedrooms.The dishwasher had dishes with thick cheese backed on to some dishes. I guess cleaning people did not check the dishwasher. All the furnishings and appliances are old. It needs a serious overhaul. The beach is close by and it was quiet.

Sep 2019The condo was very clean and close to the beach. It was a little musty smelling and a lot of stairs. Not bad for two day stay. The management company did call me and tell me that I didn't return the pool key, but I had put in the drop box early that morning.

We enjoyed the property overall. Would like to see the furniture updated, it's very worn and a little uncomfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and the deck was a great bonus. I would recommend this property but would let that person know the issue with the furniture and the amount of exercise they would be getting climbing the stairs to the top floor, which for us was a plus!

This was a great unit, right across the street from the beach and right next to the beach access. Easy parking, clean and neat lodging. The only caveat is for those who have any mobility issues. This unit is top floor, and there are a lot of stairs to get to it. If that doesn't concern you, then this is a great unit at a great price.

Bryant Real estate Agents are always wonderful to work with on rentals. We love using Bryant real estate for all our rental needs! The condo itself was dated and the beds were not comfortable to sleep on, however, the low price made up for that and was a fair price for the condo. We did not spend a great deal of time in the unit. The bedroom with the doors was where my husband and I slept. The mattress is horrible and the springs are bad. One side of the bed is so worn out you feel like you are going to fall out if you move. This is something the owner needs to replace. The couch and chair are very worn and not to comfortable to sit on. The stove was very nasty inside and I refused to cook in it. It is out of date and needs to be cleaned. Overall it was ok for a weekend stay, I would not have stayed there all week. I would have requested to move or a refund if I had to stay at this unit all week. When we come back next year I will request a different unit than this one. I think the owner needs to invest in some upgrades or not charge as much because the stay and comfort matter to people. Had I read the reviews on this unit prior to booking I would have never accepted this unit. We also was looking forward to the pool and it was under construction and we were not told that prior to booking. It was very disappointing to know that once arrival that the pool was not going to be an option for us.

The unit we stayed at was ok. We did not spend a great deal of time in the unit. The bedroom with the doors was where my husband and I slept. The mattress is horrible and the springs are bad. One side of the bed is so worn out you feel like you are going to fall out if you move. This is something the owner needs to replace. The unit is very run down. Every air vent that is in the floor is broken and cracked. The TV in the living room would not come on. The kitchen is very outdated and the stove top burners need to be replaced. I was very disappointed in how the unit had not been kept up. The rental process went great! I worked with Susan and she did a perfect job of helping me. Check in went good as well. The pool was perfect and the neighbors are great as well! Just wish the owner of the unit would take better care of the property.

Our time there started with Hurricane Isaias which we were a little nervous about. But talking to some of the locals we decided to hunker down and ride it out. So glad we did, because we had a great week. The pool was closed for a few days due to clean up from the hurricane, but once it was open we were pleased with the schedule that was created due to COVID-19. The location of the condo was perfect-easy access to the beach! We were able to get take-out for a few restaurants while we were there, and had quick and great service. Parking for the condo was fine, we were able to park on the side.
Like mentioned by other reviews, the condo is a bit older, and it was a trek up the stairs to the 3rd floor but we knew that ahead of time. For the price for the week, it was worth it! Our kids have asked multiple times when we can go back!

Nice stay at Carolina Beach. Rental was very clean. Furniture is older and worn out (couches and chair). Master furniture has water stains and warping. Lots of stairs to the 3rd floor. Beach access across the street and restaurants only a few minutes away. Overall nice stay.
