Aug 2020We werent sure about venturing out during Covid, but we are glad we did. The property is beautuful, clean and allowed us to cook breakfasts in and venture out when we wanted. so fabulous. The oners were suoer responsive and helpfu, too.

It was centrally located, and perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved climbing up to the cupola. The unit was impeccably clean, parking was easy, and communication with owner was great. Sep 2020We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Scott and Karen’s rental on Commercial Street. The apartment is cozy, comfortable and superbly located. It’s within walking distance of the great shops and restaurants. The view of the harbor is spectacular, a feature we appreciated all day long whether we were having morning coffee on the deck or an evening cocktail. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway. Stayed September 2020.

This property was fantastic. #1-the property was beautiful and amazing clean & spotless. #2-this was in an amazing location, right in Old Port, across from the harbor. Parking was easy, check in was easy. Overall this was a great experience and we would highly recommend.

Dec 2021We rented both Percival & Margaret for a ladies weekend in Portland. The city was delightful--Christmasy, charming, great food, fun shops, Soakology is a must do. And, BOTH apartments were exceptional. The spaces are beautiful, you are right in town, Scott & Karen have outfitted both with everything you need, and the views cannot be beat. Most highly recommend, and plan to head back myself!

Nov 2022We had a wonderful time staying in this condo. The place is beautiful. The location is great to walk to restaurants and the ferry. It’s very close to the airport which was a plus as well. We walked 4-5 miles every morning before we started our day and it’s a safe and beautiful place for that. The bed is very comfortable- mattress and linens.

Aug 2022We had an excellent stay in Portland. I can't imagine a better location for exploring the local shopping, bars, and restaurants. The only time we used the car after arriving was a day trip to a Kennebunk spa; otherwise, we walked everywhere. The unit was clean and comfortable, even with the unseasonably warm weather. And, of course, we were already planning our next visit after our first day, so that says it all.

Sep 2021We actually rented both the "Margaret" and "Percival" properties for our son's wedding. Both units were architecturally stunning, well appointed, spacious and the perfect surroundings for our son, daughter and a couple other members of the wedding party to be together. Having both units allowed them to have the privacy of the whole top floor, which made it the perfect backdrop and space for the wedding day photos of the Groom and his Groomsmen getting ready for the big day. The views and location are superb...There was a lot to celebrate that weekend, and the group took full advantage of all the wonderful restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance. The owner makes check-in and check-out extremely easy, as is the access to parking. Both "Margaret" and "Percival" would make any stay in Portland exceptional!

Sep 2019This property delivers everything promised. Furnishings are new, modern and very appealing. You really are sitting on top of Portland, with all of its city bustling. We enjoyed cooking a couple of meals and watching the "moon rise", but there are unlimited dining choices that you can walk to. Parking access was easy and convenient. There are plenty of activities adjacent to the lot that are reasonably priced. We cruised and took a trolley tour, and I recommend both. This penthouse is artistically designed and such a pleasure to be in, even though the rooms are on the small side. The city lends itself to spending most of your time outdoors anyway, with live music and outdoor dining all around.

Aug 2021The Percival Suite was as advertised. Great location on Commercial Street, but high up away from the noise. Beautiful views of Casco Bay and all the boat activity on the water. The parking across the street was a good bonus in the busy summer time. Loved being able to walk to the many excellent restaurants, but also enjoyed easy access out of the city for other adventures. We will be back!
