Aug 2022What a wonderful apartment! It was very comfortable for our family (2 adults and 2 teens). The location is excellent. Both the property manager and the hosts were a pleasure to work with. We’re hoping to stay here again soon!

Sep 2019What a great find! this apartment was exactly as advertised and plenty spacious for two couples to share. Ownership was very responsive and accommodating to our early check-in request and prompt on repayment of security deposit.
The neighborhood is quiet but you are steps away from many great restaurants, groceries or liquor.
Being tourist we did all the tourist things which required a drive from the apartment. Traffic in Paris is probably this cities biggest complaint. However, the apartment is very convenient to the Metro which is generally easy to understand and inexpensive. Once we figured this out, life was great.
As mentioned, Cheryl and Pam were great to work with and when we return to Paris we will certainly consider a second stay here.

May 2022We were two couples staying for a week in this lovely apartment. Everything was just as described. The showers were great, and the beds very comfortable. The living room was bright and the kitchen a delight! We will definitely stay here again.

Mar 2020We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful apartment in a great location in Marais. Tastefully decorated and furnished, two bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms situated on opposite ends of apt. Comfy beds, large living spaces, on first floor (one floor up), was great for two couples or in our case 4 cousins. Location steps away from subway station and a great neighborhood full of excellent restaurants, bakeries, markets etc. Amele was great...On time in meeting us on 1st day (we came in early) and was so accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Jul 2022We loved our stay. The manager Ámele was great and explained everything to us when we arrived. Pam and Cathy were very responsive to our questions. The apartment was situated just right for us. Their recommendations for French bread was right on! Would definitely look to stay here again. We will miss those open big windows in the living room.

Apr 2019We had a wonderful visit to Paris. This apartment is in an excellent location for seeing all the sights. There are some wonderful boulangeries, markets, bars and restaurants right near by. The place is very comfortable all around.

Sep 2019We enjoyed a really nice stay in this lovely Marais apartment. We found it just as described; clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. The two bedroom and two bathroom layout is perfect for two couples. While the building and apartment were quiet, as we hoped, you will hear sounds from the street below. I suspect this is inescapable in Paris and we didn’t find it disruptive but rather just another aspect of staying in this amazing city. The location of this apartment can’t be beat; the Marais is such a charming neighborhood with countless cafes, boulangeries, restaurants, and shops. Metro and bus stops are very close by making access to all of Paris a cinch. And don’t pass up the five minute walk to the Marche Bastille market.

The property manager, Amele, is also just about the most helpful person you could ask for. Our one year old toddler came down with an ear infection and fever during our stay there and we were having trouble navigating the healthcare system to find a doctor to look at her and prescribe antibiotics. Amele went above and beyond and didn't only help us but called just about every doctor around trying to find someone who could see us last-minute since our trip was due to end the next day. Just cannot recommend highly enough.

Dec 2022Very clean apartment with an amazing view. The Food Market appears twice a week, it is so worth it! The Metro stop is close by, could Not be more convenient! Can’t recommend this place any higher. Location, location, location. Plenty of restaurants and bakeries within walking distance but get reservations.

Sep 2019This apartment was perfect for us! Two bed two bath I’m the middle of everything. It was a home away from home and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The owners were so great sending recommendations before we left. We walked everywhere even to the Eiffel Tower one day. Grazie restaurant was a gem we fond for dinner or drinks it was a great way to end the day. Grab a baguette and some wine and cheese and walk to the island in the middle of the city and just relax and it will be your best day ! One of our favorite activity’s was a boat night cruise from the Eiffel. It was amazing to see, make sure I get ur tickets to the Eiffel or anything directly from the venders. We had some trouble with theses second bookings threw TripAdvisor. Parks by mouth has great food recommendations and food tours.

Taxis are readily available on Boulevard Beaumarchais. Groceries and bakeries are nearby.The agent met us at the apt and was accessible if needed. The owners were also easy to communicate with in the lead in to our rental.The only drawback is that the apt is on the first floor, one flight up, and the elevator cannot be used to access it.

Just as nice as pictured , clean, well stocked with what we needed. We loved the location- easy walk to the boulangerie in the morning, close to restaurants, shops, and very convenient for the metro and bus stops - but still in a residential neighborhood that made us feel at home. Amele made sure our checkin worked out. We would love to stay here again in the future! Thank you Catherine for a wonderful stay!

Jun 2022The setup of the apartment was perfect for 2 couples. A bedroom and bathroom for each couple with the living area in between. Just as nice as pictured , clean, well stocked with what we needed. We loved the location- easy walk to the boulangerie in the morning, close to restaurants, shops, and very convenient for the metro and bus stops - but still in a residential neighborhood that made us feel at home. Amele made sure our checkin worked out.

Dec 2022The property, the owners, and the manager are generous and gracious which made for a lovely stay. Over the years we have rented four Marais apartments, and this one is by far the most spacious. The floor plan is perfect for couples or family with the bedrooms on opposite sides of the living space. My initial contact was with Cathy, the owner, who was prompt with her responses, forthcoming with information, and a great communicator (and seems lovely). Amele, the Paris contact, is just as lovely--helpful, witty, and gracious. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and I was a particular fan of the pillows--strange comment I know, but great pillows and comfortable linens made for a very restful three weeks in Tournelles 2 which in turn allowed us to roam all over Paris for a perfect vacation. Thank you, Cathy and Adele.

Oct 2019The location of this property is ideal, with a fantastic boulangerie on the corner and great restaurants all around. Additionally, the layout of the apartment is perfect, with bedrooms at opposite ends and living room & kitchen in between.
The drawbacks are that no one meets you there to help orient you to the appliances, the local area, the nice personal welcome that we expected for the price. Upon calling the manager, Amele, to say we'd arrived and hoped she would come by, we received a chilly response. No, quite impossible, read the instruction book! She agreed to come 2 days later, on a Saturday morning at 10:30, which of course wiped out any plans we had for a morning excursion. When I explained that I had questions about using the washer-dryer, she told me again to read the instructions. I said I had and they weren't clear (nor were the faded labels written years ago next to the various symbols). She told me no one has ever had a problem understanding them. I guess she thought I was stupid.
On Saturday she arrived and my companion asked for instructions on using the dishwasher, also not easy to figure out. Again, Amele insulted her by saying that it's obvious, isn't it. When the drain in my shower was slow, I decided to live with it rather than call the manager, until I could no longer use the shower at all without fear of it flooding the bathroom. Another call to Amele was necessary, and she advised using a Draino product on hand - and clearly needed by other guests before me. One got the impression it was a regular occurrence. I feel bad for the pipes in that beautiful old building.
The owners are lovely people, quickly responsive and kind. The property needs to be better maintained. There is peeling paint in the bathrooms, the towels are old and rough, the pillows are lumpy. It is time to spend some money on basic maintenance and comfort for the guests.
We would certainly stay in the Marais again. We'd stay at this apartment if there was a different property manager and the owners freshened it up. Otherwise, it is not worth the price.

Jul 2019My wife and I stayed here in July 2019 with our two daughters, ages five and seven, and we loved it so much. The girls slept in one queen sized bed in their own bedroom, and my wife and I had the same thing. Plus, there was a spacious kitchen and living room area where every morning we ate croissants purchased from the bakery down the block. We taxi'd all over town quite easily given its central location. And plus, there was an amazing coffee shop a half block away, where I went nearly every morning for delicious pastries and breakfast (eggs, avocado toast, porridge) and filtered coffee. The owners were incredibly responsive on emails and they have a great house manager who met us on our arrival. We'll definitely be coming back! Thank you so much again.

Jul 2019My husband and I had a wonderful time with two of our grandchildren, ages 13 and 14. The apartment is lovely, very clean, well-appointed and a great location. Amele, the manager, was available to meet us and responded quickly to any questions. There is a thoughtfully prepared binder with information on transportation and local services.
Our grandkids miss the fabulous shop down the street where we picked up breakfast every morning - pastries that looked like works of art. 😊� Along with this favorite, there are so many restaurants and shops close by.
Don’t hesitate to figure out the metro. There’s a very convenient stop close to the apartment.

Aug 2021My husband, 17-year-old son, and I could not have been happier with this beautifully appointed apartment. Having two well separated bedrooms with air conditioners and their own bathrooms was a rare treat for a Paris rental. The dining area and living room were perfectly sized for us. The property itself is located on a quiet stretch of street close to the hustle bustle of restaurants and stores and multiple must-visit museums. We had an incredible lunch a couple of doors down, at Soon Grill, and two of the best meals of our holiday a ten-minute walk away at Les Enfants du Marché. We also enjoyed several mornings of coffee and croissants at the various cafes around the beautiful Place des Vosges, a three-minute walk from the apartment, before setting off for our days of sightseeing. Because we were mindful of covid (even though we are all fully vaccinated), we avoided public transportation and either walked, took a taxi, which we arranged using the app "Free now (mytaxi)," or drove. We parked our rental car in the secure and very reasonably priced Hotel Ibis Paris Bastille Opera parking garage, which we reserved in advance using the "onepark" app. It was easy to retrieve our car for trips to Sainte-Chapelle and Versailles, as well as to "Music Village" (Rue de Douai, Pigalle), where we spent an afternoon visiting vintage guitar stores, a dream day for our musician son, and had a sensational lunch down the street at Django (24 Rue Victor Massé).The owners are super responsive, and their manager, Amele, offered advice regarding the Marché Bastille and was very sweet. We didn't need to call on her for anything but feel sure that if we had, she would have been helpful. It was easy to arrange a late check in and no trouble at all finding the apartment or getting in.Bottom line: Great apartment, the Marais is a special neighborhood and excellent place to call home while in Paris, and all three of us highly recommend this rental.

Jan 2022I must echo all the previous reviews - Tournelles2 is an absolute treasure!I had the pleasure of spending an entire month in this lovely apartment from mid Nov to mid Dec 2021 and can give it my highest recommendation. Cathy and Pam were extremely responsive before my trip, so I arrived well prepared. Amele is a delight - she met me upon arrival allowing me an early check-in, reviewed every appliance, hooked all my devices up to wifi, provided helpful suggestions about the neighborhood and assured me she was available via text if I had any questions or concerns.The apartment is exactly as pictured in the photos and I found it deceptively spacious for a Paris apartment. I cooked many of my own meals and the kitchen had everything I needed. Strategically placed heaters kept the apartment warm and cozy and all appliances were well labeled and easy to use. I utilized the Metro extensively and rode buses all over Paris, so having an apartment with so many nearby stops was a real plus.I have been visiting France regularly for over a decade, so I am quite accustomed to older buildings, smaller rooms, unique bathroom configurations, etc. I’ve stayed in twelve different apartments in various neighborhoods and can truly say this is one of my absolute favorites. Can’t wait to return to Paris and Tournelles2!

I had the pleasure of spending an entire month in this lovely apartment from mid Nov to mid Dec 2021 and can give it my highest recommendation. Cathy and Pam were extremely responsive before my trip, so I arrived well prepared. Amele is a delight - she met me upon arrival allowing me an early check-in, reviewed every appliance, hooked all my devices up to wifi, provided helpful suggestions about the neighborhood and assured me she was available via text if I had any questions or concerns.
The apartment is exactly as pictured in the photos and I found it deceptively spacious for a Paris apartment. I cooked many of my own meals and the kitchen had everything I needed. Strategically placed heaters kept the apartment warm and cozy and all appliances were well labeled and easy to use. I utilized the Metro extensively and rode buses all over Paris, so having an apartment with so many nearby stops was a real plus.

Nov 2019Great location — neighborhood charming and full of retail from groceries to designer clothes. Convenient base for all Paris adventures, whether on foot or via Metro. Quiet street is distinctively good for sleeping. Layout is perfect for two couples and hard to find. Local manager is a real bonus, being responsive, friendly, resourceful, super smart, fluent in English and able to handle a wide variety of situations, from the simple to the complex. Highly recommend.

Apr 2019Great apt, great location. The apt was well appointed with everything we needed. It was like we had our own french apartment, even if only for 5 days....loved every minute.
