Was a very nice room for a couple. Overlooking the Gulf and beach, easy to access, with some beach accessories in the room. A/C worked well, though overall electric access was a little limited (bring long charger cords). Could use a little updating, but overall no real complaints. We had a very nice stay and would definitely return!

Very simple to book and was perfect size for just the 2 of us.

Upon entering room it smelled like a roach bomb had just been done. Smell lingered the entire stay. Small ants in kitchen and bathroom/vanity area. A/C leaked into room, porch flooded 2-3” during each rain. Bathroom toilet made awful whistling sound the entire time. My husband had to turn off water on toilet to make it stop. It was a place to sleep, thankfully we stayed at beach for the most part. Didn’t sleep much due to bed sheets being dirty with hairs and food. Looked like someone made it up before we arrived like they stayed there prior. Hair all over floors too, not swept. My skin crawled worried about bugs in bed. Remember you get Exactly what you pay for. Cheap needs updated and better maintained.

This was our first time staying on Treasure Island. We had a wonderful stay. This rental was very clean, the owners were easy to communicate with. Great location, pretty, the beach was not over crowded, which was a huge bonus. The only things that could have been better was the air unit leaked on the balcony making a huge water puddle, the bed was not that comfy, the beach chairs that were provided need replaced, and I felt like we weren't supplied that many towels. So you may want to bring extra. Other than those minor things it was great and we would definitely stay again.

This venue is ideal for our taste. We love being on the beach and close to the water. From the balcony, we can hear and see the water and beautiful beach without leaving our unit. Special thanks to Liz and Brandon for taking card of our needs and providing friendly and courteous response to all our needs. We are looking forward to our stay in 2020

This unit should not be allowed to be a VRBO listing. Everything was so run down and in need of repair. Outlet situation was ridiculous- there was one outlet for the bedside lamps, which you had to unplug if you wanted to plug anything in in the kitchen. The bathroom was disgusting with the rotted door and molding, and the broken and stained tiles. The view was beautiful as advertised, and the tiki bar was great, but the unit itself was an extreme disappointment. We have been using VRBO for 20 + years and have never encountered a property like this before.

This rental has a great location right on the beach and not far from launching site for many water activities. The room was well clean and provided with kitchen cookware.

This is the second year we've stayed at Island Inn booking through Itrip. We love the view of the Gulf from this building. The beach is quiet yet we can quickly walk down to our favorite beach bar for live music or food. Itrip was quick to respond with a new beach chair when I sent an email complaining that one of the beach chairs was ripped and unusable. We used the Itrip Fun to get a free admission to the Dali museum. However, room 412 is not as well taken care of as the unit we stayed in last year. When we opened the bathroom cabinet, one of the doors was only attached on the bottom so the door looked like it was ready to come off. The molding holding the electric line to the ceiling was broken so they were hanging off. Some molding in the kitchen is missing. We think they had to take it off to get the refrigerator to open. But it would look better if they at least painted where the molding was. A new tub and surround would give the bathroom a much better appearance. It looks like the tub was painted once, but the paint is coming off. A little time and money could greatly improve this unit. We'd definitely stay at Island Inn again, but ask for a different room.

Also, the shower had mold along the corners and hair on the tile in the shower . The unit needs some maintenance as well - there were parts of baseboards missing, doors and baseboards were badly stained and chipped , mirrror rusted and old, etc. The lack of cleanliness was the most disappointing. I am glad we only stayed 2 days. I have stayed in many vrbo properties over the years, and this is the worst experience I’ve had.

The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view and access to the beach were great. The pool bar and service are fantastic. The place could use some updating, especially the bathroom. But, everything worked. Limited electrical outlets and towel service.

So just to say this upfront, we only got to stay at this property one night out of a three-night stay, due to a mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Ian.I'll address the cleanliness of the property first. It definitely could have used a good deep cleaning. The kitchen was pretty dusty and the dishes in the cabinets were not well washed (I know as a guest you are supposed to clean them before you leave if you used them, but I still feel like this should be checked by the staff before another guest comes). There was also a red substance on one of the walls near the small two-person table that we cleaned off. It looked to be some kind of strawberry-based substance. Next, I would like to address the communication of the property management team. When we first checked in, the front desk people (not associated with iTrip) were not super friendly to us and clearly were annoyed that we rented through VRBO instead of them. They said if you need anything, not to bother contacting them, and only go through iTrip. Okay, I understand they don't handle this listing, but just be a little nicer about it. Secondly, we received an email from iTrip on Monday giving us a heads-up that we would have to evacuate by Tuesday. We made all of our arrangements based on that email and heard nothing else. However on Monday at 5:30 pm, we finally received a call from the actual front desk of the condo wanting to know why we hadn't checked out when we were supposed to leave by 6:00 pm that day. We had 30 minutes notice to evacuate the condo. I grew up on the Texas coast and understand hurricane conditions rapidly change and so does the evacuation status, however, iTrip never contacted us. I called and emailed them, but didn't hear back for a few hours. They said they didn't know either, but the front desk team told us they had contacted all property managers earlier that day and let them know. The front desk people were upset with us and wanted us to leave ASAP. I believe we should have been informed sooner by both iTrip and the actual front desk. However, the good things about this condo are the location and the view! It is a beautiful place and you are right on the beach. There is a nice area to relax and you can rent out chairs in front. The chairs on the patio at the condo are great and perfect to watch the sunset.

Also, the chairs outside are to cheap and not very sturdy. For people who are 200 plus pounds, they could have easily broken and caused an injury. It could use some upgrades, but overall stay was good. We spent 75% of our time on the beach anyway. Would stay again.

Pro: Right on the beach, great view, great air conditioning, and within walking/driving distance of many attractions. Easy check in process, and communication with rental company. Cons: Not extremely clean, balcony gets very slick from AC drainage, bathroom could use some TLC, not many towels, and beach gear could stand to be updated. Both coolers were broken, along with one of the beach chairs. Perfect place to stay for a couple of days, but don’t plan on cooking any substantial meals. We would stay in the building again, but maybe try to get in a more updated unit.

PLEASE see emails (3) that I have sent to iTrip Vacation Rentals email box. I would like to discuss a refund of cleaning fee and/or a night or 2 stay due to the picture I sent via email and what I think we had in the condo with us. I wanted to follow up with you on a couple of items since we returned for our trip to Treasure Island, FL yesterday. First…let me say – it was beautiful. The beach, sand, sun, ocean, the weather – it is like living “groundhogs day” over and over . Our flight and drive to our Unit 412 was easy which made our start to our trip fantastic. Check in and Check out were great – no hassles at all. When we arrived in the room I noted that if we had any maintenance concerns we were to call or email and they would be there to fix the situation. Although nothing needed fixing for us I did want to make the staff aware of a couple different things. I email 2 different times and they are attached above for your review. I wanted to note: there were a couple of divits/sunken area of the laminate flooring that according to owner on VRBO is new. I also wanted to make note that the water pressure was bad. While it wasn’t a trickle it wasn’t flowing. As well, on Friday I emailed because all during that night (11/4) I kept “hearing” movement around the studio apartment. The next morning we woke to find shavings under the bathroom sink (picture attached) – blocked off this section with towel and book and emailed (attached). Overall, the Unit 412 was fine – it does need updating and I did want to make you aware of items of concerns we found. If you have any questions –please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Overall great stay. Convenient location on the beach, next to restaurants and only a few miles away from a great boardwalk.

Nice location directly on the beach. Within short drive of a lot of dining and activities. Would recommend to friends and others.

Needs a little update, new mattress and diffenitly a new fridge . Fridge does not keep beer and wine cold, had to use cooler

My wife and I came to treasure island for our honeymoon. We are from far away and we’re not familiar with the area at all. We wouldn’t have wanted any other condo out there. Amazing view, friendly staff, and better yet a great price! We will be back.
