Luquillo, 18. Etage mit Meerblick

We were very happy with the place. The owners sent us a fantastic document with all the info we needed to include local places to eat, tours to take with telephone numbers etc, etc. We went to Walmart and purchased food but most everything else was already provided with the place (toilet paper, paper towels, bug spray, soap, tons of towels, boogy boards, etc, etc. The beach was right out the back door and very clean. We couldn't access the beach late at night because they locked the back gate after dark, I assume for security reasons. The owners were also very responsive when we had questions or problems. Very secure location. Private parking spot in a gated garage (we rented a car for the entire week.) Our only complaints which the owners had very little control of and probably just a result of vacationing in Puerto Rico: 1. Two days of the seven we stayed there, the entire complex had the electricity shut off from about 9 am through 6 pm (they posted a sign in advance). Still an inconvenience because some of our frozen stuff in the freezer unthawed. We left early and didn't come back until late. One day they shut both elevators down for maintenance? We had to walk 18 flights of stairs to get to our place. Obviously my wife was less than happy. And finally, it's Puerto Rico with 150% humidity. The place has portable ACs in each of the three bedrooms so the bedrooms were comfortable but the main living areas had no AC. We got airflow by opening the doors and windows but still very warm. Overall, for the money, it worked out well for us.

We rented in the same building two years ago. We knew it wasn’t in very good shape. However, the location and views are incredible. We come here for the beaches which we rank as one of the top beaches we’ve ever been to. The owner is great to deal with and the condo is fully stocked. If he didn’t have something ,we were instructed to buy whatever we needed, and he would reimburse us. We didn’t need anything as there are beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler. Everything you need for the beach. The town, unfortunately, is run down. Too many stray cats and chickens running around. Buildings look like they have been through multiple hurricanes which they have. For the money, this place is definitely worth it. Don’t expect luxury by any means. If you’re coming for the beach, this is a great location. Would stay again.

We missed our arrangements for the previous might and Mark was amazing about accomodating the stay and paperwork. He just wanted us to be safe and would deal with the back part after. Traveling with 3 children was stressful enough and Mark made is so much easier. Getting to the apartment was a breeze and very convenient. The 18th floor was an amazing view and cool with the windows open. Whole apartment was super clean and no signs of bugs not even mosquitos. All the rooms had functioning ACs and the beds were comfortable. Extra linens and towels were available as well as some bars of soap. Wifi worked great for steaming teens. and the kitchen has everything you need. The closets had plenty of room and beach chairs and boogie boards available. We had access to the beach gate on sat and sun between 9 and 6pm. Pool was closed but it didnt stop us from enjoying the stay Loosing 13hrs cramped our lounging time short for this weekend trip. Thank you Mark for sharing your home with us. Location is key and this condo was right on the highway close to everything in Luquillo. Amazing!

We had such a great time! Wonderful location(so many delicious food choices nearby) and beautiful view of the ocean. Property owner is very quick with communication and sends out a detailed packet about the condo and surrounding area. Very helpful !!

We had a wonderful 3 weeks in Marks apt in Luquillo. Apt is as pictured with wonderful ocean views, at a very private beach. Nice to hear the waves crashing outside even though on the 18th floor. Great for long walks, a bit rough for swimming. (Went to Seven Seas Beach in Fajardo for swimming days) Also enjoyed the pool. Need a car for this stay; to get around the island and to get to stores and restaurants even though they aren’t far. Mark was very helpful with all details and questions, guard staff at building also very nice and helpful. Nice to have beach towels and snorkel equipment. Beds are comfortable and kitchen basic but adequate. We liked being away from the resorts and touristy areas and Luquillo felt like authentic PuertoRico. Would Recommend and would stay again

This was our first time in Puerto Rico so we did a lot of research before going. Luquillo is a great area to do alot of things. Close to the airport (40 min), rainforest (10 min), old San Juan (45 min), lots of beaches, food options, etc. This condo had a great view. Waves were great for boogie boarding, easy walk to ice cream (cuties) and restaurants (Boardriders was our favorite!). A bit hard to get to but just follow owners directions and u will do fine. The area around the condo might catch you off guard but the locals were friendly and we had no issues at all. Parking is a bit of a hassle but after a day or so you just get used to it. Condo itself was great. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Nice breeze in main area. Had a lot of basic things (toilet paper, soap, paper towel, laundry detergent, sandwhich bags, etc) which was a huge plus. Would recommend anyone to stay here if visiting Puerto Rico.
