Dec 2018We would definitely recommend Sapphire Beach 105. The accommodations are super clean and comfortable. Owner Prasad was kind enough to have a few items in the fridge when we arrived which we truly appreciated. There is a market nearby that has everything you need. The beach is absolutely beautiful and directly out the gate. The beach was not crowded and no one ever hassled us which was great. Security was good also. We weren’t sure about having a ground level unit but once we arrived we felt comfortable with the secure doors, locked gates and frequent security patrols. The only issue that came up is that it can be noisy in the 2nd fl bedroom which looks into the street. Most night were ok but some nights there was live music or people on the street below and the noise level was high. But the A/C helped to muffle the noise. However I think of all the places for rent on the Gap Sapphire Beach is likely among the quietest. It is near the end of the gap so probably a lot quieter than other areas further down the beach that have more bars etc. So it’s a bit of a compromise to have occasional noise for the convenience and beauty of this location. The main floor bedroom (facing the pool) was very quiet. Also Sapphire Beach seems to attract a lot of families and quiet types of people which we liked very much. Many people seemed to be returning guests. We appreciated not having to put up with drunken party animals like you would have to deal with at other resorts. We would recommend Sapphire Beach 105 without hesitation and we hope to come back again soon! Thank you Prasad for a wonderful week!

Feb 2022The apartment is exactly like the photos. Great beachfront location and close to all that St Lawrence Gap has to offer. Prasad was a great host and all communication was dealt with very quickly - he even came to get the wi-fi fixed on a Sunday morning (the router just needing to be re-started!)

Sep 2017Sarada and Prasad are amazing hosts! The condo is in an excellent location with an amazing beach and lovely pool. Sarada was lovely and had stocked essentials on arrival. Spent most of our holiday on the balcony overlooking the beautiful ocean and swimming on Dover beach. The condo was clean, spacious and had all the amenities for a home away from home. We will definitely be returning to the condo. Thank you for everything Sarada and Prasad!

May 2019Prasad, our host, was waiting for us ,on our arrival at the condo. He greeted us & showed us around the facility. He was helpful & friendly, saying if there was anything we needed, to contact him by the phone in the condo
There is everything there that you could need. Well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, clean towels & bedlinen.Two enormous king sized beds in which we slept very well. Lots of space for clothes & an indispensable laundry room.. We had maid service in the middle of our stay(11 days) , arranged by Prasad. Stunning location overlooking the pool & the ocean. The two storey condo had a Terrace with dining furniture on the upper level & seating area, poolside , on the lower level. Numerous restaurants & bars nearby. Overall security amazing with locked entrance gates & security patrolling constantly.
I would thoroughly recommend this facility for both adults & families. Thank you Prasad

Jun 2017Our recent stay at Sapphire Beach was great. Our group was made up of 2 couples, and we loved the upstairs/downstairs bedrooms for added privacy. Before our stay we were told by other travelers that the Gap was not a safe location; however, we did not feel unsafe once during our 6 night visit. The condo is just far enough outside of the Gap to not have the constant noise of the busy bars yet close enough to walk to all the restaurants.
Pros: condo was clean and in good condition. Nice kitchen with all the basic amenities. Comfortable living room area. Great balcony area overlooking the pool & beach. Bedrooms have ample closet space. Washer/dryer was great to have for dry beach towels every day. Especially liked the 1st floor access to the pool right outside our unit. Owners were very responsive when we were not able to get the safe open, and also when we had any questions.
Cons: I'm being picky here . . . upstairs bed was a bit hard for my liking, but my husband had no issue. If you're a light sleeper, the street noise from the taxi stand is noticeable in the upstairs bedroom. Also, the early morning crowing of the rooster right outside the building made for a wake up time between 4:30 and 5:30 every morning.
Overall we had a very nice stay and would definitely rent this place again.

Mar 2022I would definitely rebook this unit. The building is in the heart of “The Gap” with loads of restaurants nearby. The beach is fantastic and our entire stay was top notch.

Jul 2018I have been going to Sapphire Beach almost every Christmas since 2009. I love the property and the beach and its location at the bottom of St. Lawrence Gap. Prasad met us at the property and explained the lay out upon our arrival. We had one issue with the safe the first evening but Prasad was prompt in responding to our request for help and it was resolved that evening (it was an operator error by us and nothing wrong with the safe, but Prasad was quick to come help). The condo was great, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I have never had any issues at all staying at this complex and am coming back with my family for Christmas once again this year. If you have never been to Barbados it is amazing. The locals are friendly and the island has a ton to offer. If you enjoy surfing there is a surf break just down the beach in front of southern palms resort and around the corner. There are tons of great restaurants within walking distance and great chilled caribbean bars as well. The location can't be beaten. As I said I have been staying at Sapphire since 2009 and this was the first time I have ever rented a car, just because I wanted to explore the west coast a bit more and cabs can get pricey to go to that side of the island and back. However, basically everything you could want is within walking distance. I will definitely being contacting Prasad the next time I need a two bedroom condo in this complex.

Added benefit if the washing/drying facility. Overall, a great friendly location with loads of bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach. Only downside was that the beach is currently overrun with seaweed.
