Dec 2017We've been staying at Island Inn over Thanksgiving for years. Nothing beats the balcony views and sunset at the tiki bar. Although Room 612 is not as updated as other rooms we've stayed in, it was very clean and all the amenities were provided. As some have mentioned, fridge and AC are somewhat loud, but open the new patio door and the crashing waves will beat it any day. Booking through iTrip was great and we'll definitely be back.

Jul 2018We stayed at the Island Inn #612 for a mini vacation without kids and let me say, we had the best time! The studio condo was as described and absolutely perfect for us! The views were amazing, the front desk help was extremely friendly and helpful! The tiki bar and staff were awesome!!
We loved that we could take a short walk down the beach and eat at one of favorite spots, Sloppy Joes!!
We will definitely be back for another couples mini getaway!!

We checked into this unit on Sunday, March 3, 2019. This is the worst rental we have ever had in all our years of travelling.
Screen door broken
A wad of Kleenex stuck to the wall
Stove stop in kitchenette broken
No sink stopper
No tray for dish drying rack
Mold growing on the lampshades
Very dirty - we had to go out and buy Lysol wipes to clean and dust
Bathroom moldy and rusty
Bathroom sink mirror trim cracked and broken
Linens - towels old and musty, bed comforter disgusting
Hair and food crumbs in dressers drawers
We called the Rental Company and a maintenance person came and removed the wad of Kleenex stuck to the wall and took the screen door away and never returned with it. They replaced the lamps!

Jan 2022We booked last minute on a whim for a quick getaway. We were unfamiliar with the area. The room was great staff was very accommodating and the area was even better! Everything we needed was within walking distance! Would def recommend to friends.

Feb 2021This was my first beach vacation and although st Pete is more tourist friendly the view and beach front was amazing. The room was nice and clean and even had chairs to take to the beach. I would stay here again

May 2019This room hasn’t been remodeled yet but still has the same amazing view. There are beach chairs and a few pool/sand toys in the room which is a nice touch. I’ve stayed at island inn many times and would stay in this room again. The only negatives are the bed is on the hard side and the room could use a deep cleaning in the corners,etc but overall it was clean and worked well for us.

Oct 2022This condo and all it has to offer is hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST! We took advantage of the Dinner Cruise and dolphin boat tour which were both fantastic! The view from the condo is phenomenal, and the management were super friendly and replied to all messages very quick! HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone and everyone!

Jun 2018The room was as advertised and in a great location. It was nice having a fridge, pots, pans and utensils.
The view was great! Lay in bed and just open the drapes and look out at the ocean.
Liz was great at communicating and checking in to make sure our stay was great. She recommended the Friendly Fisherman for fresh seafood and it did not disappoint. Definitely need to put that one on your list.
We had a great time and look forward to visiting again soon.

Nov 2021The ocean view was good. The small dining table is in terrible condition (base is messed up). The fridge is noisy. Lack of kitchen implements (e.g., no pot scrubber or sponge). The electrical conduit is falling down and the knob on the sliding balcony door fell off.

May 2019The highpoint of this condo is definitely the views. Perfect view of the beach from the balcony and Paradise Island from the entrance. The unit is very small and the furnishings are a bit worn and dated but overall, a nice place. All of the unit's flaws are easily overlooked once you see the view. Walking distance to a 7 Eleven, surf shop and liquor (<.25 miles). The beach had plenty of room to spread out. The overall property was very nice and very well kept. Give yourself 5 extra minutes due to the super slow elevator.

The Tub was way too narrow for a shower stool so bathing was impossible and the toilet was super low. Also, none of the electric outlets on the Gulf side of the room worked and there was no DVD player as promised and the A/C had a huge, thick, gooey pile of mold and mildew under it. More, condo 312 is being rebuilt so construction noises all day. However, Jake from iTrio did move us to a condo with handicap room and we go an additional ticket to the Dali museum for the hassle so the organization, iTrip, is worth working with. The Island in itself is a great location with a fabulous view of the Gulf and the sunsets. Conclusion, iTrip is great, Jake is awesome, condo 412, not so much.

May 2020The building itself is a bit decadent, most likely due to the bad administration of the hotel, the people sharing the "hotel" with you are not exactly classy, but that's what low prices do.The room itself has everything we needed and the view is really amazing. I'd recommend for sure.

Dec 2018The booking process was very easy and the location of the condo was awesome! However, the condo needed updating. The drawers fell off the track, the corkscrew was broken, one beach chair was completely ripped. There were no supplies, only one spare roll of t.p., not even a pair of scissors.

Mar 2019Our first impression of the room was disappointing - extremely small (it looked bigger in the pictures)...but then we looked out the sliding glass door to the beach and the view had us hooked. Luckily, when we go on trips we don't usually spend a lot of time in our room, which was beneficial in this case. The bed was uncomfortable (on Amazon, you can get a king-sized memory foam mattress from Olle for around $300....just saying) and the bedding was sub-par (the spread was super old and didn't even fit the bed correctly). I had to move the bed away from the wall to plug in my charger and could tell that it was rarely cleaned. However, the shower worked great and that was a huge plus in my book. Would we stay here again? I'm not sure that we would if we could get the same view from somewhere nicer. But again....the view was amazing.

Mar 2018My wife, daughter, and I had a wonderful stay in Unit #612! It was clean and quiet. The fold-out couch worked well for our daughter. We REALLY enjoyed relaxing on the oceanfront balcony in the mornings and evenings, as well as the cabanas (extra $) on the beach. The location was perfect for walking up the beach to Caddy's for meals on the beach, driving to Bradenton for a Pirate pre-season game, and going to Clearwater for the Sea-Blues Festival! We would highly recommend this very reasonably priced unit to anyone! Thank-you to the owners for renting it to us!

Oct 2022Listing said newly renovated but that applied to the shower only. Stovetop was very old and one burner didn’t work. Only one coffee cup in unit. No garbage bags provided. No outlets near bed for phones etc.. Mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable. Ocean view was great and unit was clean. Price was not worth the value received
