Aug 2011This property is just wonderful! The property location was perfect for us. We were very comfortable here; it felt like a home away from home. The screened in porch was a plus! The washer/dryer was also a great feature!
The pool water was very warm and we wished the water was a bit cooler. The website for Bear Trap showed a playground but we never found it. The shower heads in both showers did not allow for a thorough shower; bigger shower heads with better water volume control would be much better to help with sand removal...especially for small children.
It's a bit of a drive to the beach, but worked out well with an infant needing movement to initiate nap time.
We would certainly stay here again!

Jun 2015This condo was tastefully decorated and we loved it. The website pictures was very accurate. The only downside was that I completely missed the fact that it was a second floor condo. My husband and i both have knee issues and would have preferred a 1st floor. All things aside, we adjusted and loved the property. It was was clean and well maintained . I

Jun 2016The two story apartment was in pristine condition. Very nicely furnished. The location is quiet and yet close both to Bethany Beach and Rehoboth Beach. Very friendly owner who always responded within hours. Fabulous experience. We hope to come back

Sep 2016The condo was tastefully decorated, very clean and quiet. It has a wonderful view of the golf course and is a short drive to the beach. We would definitely stay again if we decide to come back to southern Delaware. No negatives at all but the stairs on this second floor unit can be a challenge on the knees for older visitors.

Sep 2010The condo was better than advertised. Every possible need was considered by the owners. The neighborhood was very well maintained and quiet. The pools were nice and the shuttle drivers were friendly. Bethany beach was well maintained with a nice low key boardwalk. I would recommend this condo to anyone who would like a laid back family vacation.

Jul 2012Stellar condo! Cannot say enough to do the place justice. I will definitely be renting again if available and I have recommended to friends Golf, swimming, close to the beach. Excellent landlords who are more than willing to assist to make your stay a fantastic one. Wish I owned it as I would be staying there more often than not.

Jul 2012Stellar appointed condo! Owner is very courteous, professional and willing to help your stay be as pleasant as possible. Professional-like instructions throughout the residence assists tenants whether for operating kitchen appliances, A/C, laundry, etc. We will definitely be going back--in fact we have made arrangements to rent in September 2012.
If I owned this property, I would be living there more often than not!

Shuttle runs 9am-5pm which wasn't ideal if you wanted to stay at the beach later and there isn't a set schedule so you just have to sit and wait for it. They said they were working on an app for it. Not really within walking distance to anything. You would need to drive to go anywhere. The tv remote was a little confusion since it was not very accurate since the buttons were not red but were green, but that's a minor thing. Other than that, this was one of the nicest and cleanest places we stayed at so we were very pleased with that.

Jul 2022Our stay at this property was great. It was bigger than it looked in the photos. The property was very clean and probably had the best stocked kitchen of any rental I've made through VRBO. (and that's a lot). The beds were very comfortable. Phyllis was very easy to reach (although we didn't have to really). The community has much to offer for adults and children. All tv's were in good working order and easy to figure out. (Not always the case). We would stay here again and recommend to others.

It is in a beautiful neighborhood, and the unit is very spacious. It is well maintained and tastefully decorated. The owner is quick and thorough in her communications. Jun 2021My 10 year old son and I spent a week at this lovely condo. The wifi was great - very helpful since I was working and my son was doing virtual school. The home was so comfortable. We had everything we needed. We loved walking around the neighborhood and going to the beach. We were so sad to leave!

Jun 2015It's always a good feeling when you walk into a rental you've never seen in person and discover you have made the right choice. My family and I stayed here for 5 days and we loved it! The villa was beautifully decorated, well equipped, and very clean. I wished we could've stayed longer. Comparing this to other rentals, this is one of the best and top on our list of places to visit again! Thanks Phyllis for being so kind!

Jun 2016After a week of work in hot, steamy Washington, D.C., it was like stepping into an oasis once we arrived in Delaware and climbed the carpeted stairs leading us up into the immaculately kept and exquisitely decorated villa on the Bear Trap golf grounds of Ms. McKinley. We are back in Berlin now, but would return or recommend this vacation paradise anytime, at the drop of a hat! There was absolutely nothing which was missing, and everything - dishes, cutlery, pots and pans - was present and at our disposal in abundance and top quality. A jewel!

Oct 2022A beautiful villa in a family friendly community! This unit is even better than the pictures. It is fully staffed with quality items, the bed in the master bathroom is very comfortable and there is plenty of room to relax . Phyllis the owner was wonderful to work with and left no detail unaddressed. One word of caution(not a complaint) if you have any mobility issues this may not be the right fit for you. To enter the unit you must climb 17 steps. If climbing stairs isn’t an issue for you or anyone that you are traveling with this unit is a must book!
