Apr 2021We were very grateful that Jodi provided bottled water and having a washing machine in the condo was a nice amenity. The home was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the use of lounge chairs and umbrellas on the private beach. She was a great host as well.

May 2022We loved this property. We are an older couple and were so pleased with how quiet reef residencias is. We spent 8 days here in May. Perhaps it has more of a party atmosphere during high season, but it was peaceful and quiet during our stay. Loved looking out over the mangroves in the morning watching the birds

Jul 2022We have stayed in several different units in this condo complex and love the location. This unit is no exception. We normally stay on the other side of the property but enjoyed the view of the mangroves this time. The unit was clean and well appointed. No complaints on our end. Property itself is clean and well kept. Check in was quick and easy. Will stay again for sure

Apr 2019We had an amazing stay at this condo. Jodi was extremely helpful with everything we asked and recommendations were perfect. The staff were very helpful with getting us taxi’s each day and very friendly. The grounds are very well maintained and the beach and pools were nice. We loved having coffee each morning on the patio looking out at the beautiful view and each night around sunset. I'd definitely go again!

May 2019We enjoyed our stay in the private complex and met some nice people ! Would have liked to do more cooking, but the complex does not allow bbq's, which is no fault of the owner. Resturants in the area do close early, so plan your food accordly! Stay away from holiday club scammers in town, bad deal !!! We would definitely stay at the Residencias Reef complex again ! Very peaceful

Past trips to CZ were hotel, but will always return to this unit & VRBO for future stays. Host was so fantastic and responds so quickly. The security / resident staff was also outstanding. Location is equally perfect. Peaceful place, property was unbelievably clean and well maintained (the whole community) We love it!

*The Residencias Reef is the best complex on the island
*The host, Jodi, went above and beyond to make our vacation great.
*The condo is well equipped and steps to two perfect pools and beautiful beach.
*Good snorkeling right off beach in front of condo.
*Pier for boat pick up to go snorkeling, fishing or diving.
*Condo itself was super quiet inside, didn’t hear neighbors on our sides or above us. Must be very well insulated and designed.
*Complex is in a perfect location on island.
*The bed was super comfortable and we are both picky.
*The condo grounds are beautiful.
*The Residencias Reef staff are great.
We rented a car and saw everything on the island - only way to go!

*The king bed is super comfortable and we are really picky. Surprisingly too, even though it didn’t look like it would be, the pull out couch is comfortable.
*The condo grounds are beautiful and the Residencias Reef staff, owners and guests are great.
While there are taxis everywhere, we rented a car and highly recommend it! Driving is made easy here!
Rent this unit, you will come back again the next year just like we plan to!

Nov 2019The property was just as described and pictured. We were close to lots of great food, fun activities and souvenir shopping, however, our condo was blissfully quiet with all the amenities of home! Perfect combination for a great vacation in Cozumel!

Aug 2019Some of the highlights of the property and immediate area:
*Spacious condo with most of the items you would need/want to live comfortably for extended stays
*Area seemed very safe
*Washer/dryer was very useful
*Furniture was in good condition and comfortable
*Bed was very comfy
*Nice patio area with a good view
*Two A/C units which kept the condo nice and cool
*Two very nice pool areas with one right next to the beach
*Easy beach access and a short walk to a number of close-by places (food, merchants, activities, etc.)
*Good snorkeling close-by
A few items I think could use some improvement:
*We never received an email with the front door code so we had to contact the owner before being able to access the condo. I received other emails from her and checked my junk box but found nothing, so I do not believe it was sent. This ended up being a small issue as she responded within just a couple minutes and we had access.
*Electronic door lock system only worked well about 50% of the time. Try as we might to determine the "trick" to making this work every time, we were not successful. This became quite the hassle over the course of the week but seems like a simple thing that could be replaced/improved.
*WAY too much potpourri when we first arrived. Very overpowering to where the first thing we did was search it out and set it outside, then it took at least a couple days to dissipate.
*Living room A/C unit began to leak quite a bit of water about halfway through our trip (even though we had not made any adjustments to the temp or fan speed at that point). We eventually had to turn up the temp and turn down the fan to keep the leak to a minimum.
Overall it was an excellent stay and the problems were very minor (except the door, which I would say is slightly above a minor issue as it really did cause us lots of frustration).

Jul 2018Our stay got off to a very bad start, to no fault of the owner/host. When we arrived the place was very dirty and lived in, as if someone were still staying there. Come to find out, the cleaning crew suffered an emergency the day we arrived and thus, never cleaned the property for our arrival.
Jodi did what she could for our first night, allowing us access to her personal closet for clean linens and towels, and contacted a new cleaning and maintenance crew to take care of cleaning and repairing broken items the following day.
Once clean and prepared for our arrival, the condo is quite nice and we enjoyed our stay. There are two very nice, and very quiet, pools near the condo. We particularly enjoyed the mangrove boardwalk to the beach every day- lots of crabs and iguana there to greet you.
The toilet seat remained broken and missing for the duration of our stay and our first day and night made for a rough start- the only reason we won't be giving a "perfect 5 stars."
Jodi was generous, communicative, and actively worked to solve our issues. We highly recommend staying here for Jodi's helpfulness alone. She is an exceptional host. We look forward to staying here again, hopefully with better circumstances on arrival.

Jun 2019Once I had stayed at Jodi's place I remembered what bliss is. The first quiet warm pool a 49 step walk away from the premises was the first hint. The second pool nearer the beach to watch to boat activity was the second reminder. A perfect western exposure for the sunsets of course. The condo itself was as quiet as the butterflies that fluttered around and the amenities and attention to the inside out were all there. A great place if you want to re-engage the bliss factor. Ken.

Nov 2018My husband and I have been to Cozumel each year for the last 4 yrs. We have stayed at Secrets (right next door from the complex), rented a Villa for the whole family, but this year we stayed here for 12 wonderful relaxing days! Beautiful complex, wonderful pools, views and location. Activities and food available just a short walk down the beach. Very secure. Condo is furnished with anything and everything you need including TV for those days of rain or a bit too much sun :) and a book of "Need to know about Cozumel" and places to see and eat at. We snorkeld daily right on site and its just a short drive into town for shopping. We would absolutely stay again...hopefully soon!

Oct 2022Lovely 1 bed ground floor condo in a beachfront gated complex with 2 pools. Nice beach but rocky entrance to the ocean, Nice walk over an hour down the beach past numerous beach bars where there is no rocks. Occasionally noisy hotel next door to complex. Generally quiet complex although we did get noise from condo above and kids playing on the stairs. 15-20 minutes drive from town with few choices of retaurants near complex for dinners so driving to dinner or cooking at home---there are at least 2 good grocery stores in town.

As it was rainy season the patio was a great place to relax and take in views of the mangrove, pool and ocean on the couple of days it rained. Jodi was very responsive to all our needs throughout the trip. Location in building 2 was quiet. Being on the ground floor, the very short walk to the pool and beach was easy. Definitely will return. Bonus, they pump in hot water in the pool towards sunset. A great touch.

The patio overlooking both the mangroves & ocean is pure heaven. The location is perfect for divers; no long boat rides south, easy pier pickup, rinse tanks for scuba/camera gear & an outdoor shower. Also great for non-divers as well. My daughter loved curling up with a book on the comfortable patio sofa or catching some sun at the pools while I was out diving. The communication was excellent & Jody was readily accessible via phone to troubleshoot an issue that ended up being an operator error. My only wish was that the check-out was not so early (10:30) but Jody allowed us to leave our luggage in her unit and hang out by the pier until we needed to head to the airport. We will definitely stay there again.

Feb 2019Jodi was fantastic to communicate with and was very responsive. The condo was perfect for us- very spacious for 2 people. We appreciated the jugs of drinking water that were provided and the fully stocked kitchen with plates, silverware, pots, pans, sponge, soap, etc. All of the staff at the complex were extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful beach, palm trees, and multiple pools. Would definitely stay here again!

Nov 2018I loved being outside of the city but a short taxi ride to town. I loved the pool options (2 to choose from) and the ocean is right there. The property was awesome, clean and had all the amenities you need to relax and enjoy.

Jan 2020If your looking for a place close to a pool & beach, your search has ended. For not only does it have all of this, the quiet and solitude only adds to intense relaxation. Jodi was always very responsive whenever I needed help. One of the best finds in Cozumel, the condo was very clean had everything, so you can either eat out or prepare your own food. I would suggest doing your shopping at the Mega store, it has everything.........

Oct 2022Beautiful condo. Great location, short walk to pier for dive boat pick up. Quiet community, beach toys available and condo was stocked with everything you’d need for cooking, including spices! Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be looking up Jodi to stay here again!

Apr 2022An unbelievably-good value. Ground floor patio and living room look out on the beautiful sea. Pool and beach within a few steps that we enjoyed every day. Gated-security and beautifally-maintained grounds. Quiet and peaceful. The unit was well-appointed with tasteful and comfortable funishings. Dive boats pick you up at the adjacent property dock about 50 meters to the North. We loved it and can't wait to return!
