Apr 2022Very beautiful recently renovated hotel lobby. The room itself is dated and can used an upgrade.Extremely basic amenities in the room. Needs more of the basics: 2 mugs instead of 1, a few forks and spoons.Hotel is going under renovation and we weren’t allow out on the balcony!

Jul 2022This was a great stay for me while I was attending a conference. Right across the street from the conference center, but also a very short walk to the beach. My room was clean, and the beds were super comfortable!

Sep 2021This property is across the street from the beach…a real plus! The owners were wonderful and informative. Sadly the unit is very dated but to compound matters it has no AC.

Aug 2022This property has a very good view. I have a coffee every morning, saw a nice view, and read a book. It was convenient because it was close to Alamoana Shopping Center.

Apr 2022This place is perfect for what we were looking for. It’s not really close to Waikiki or the touristy things, so if that’s why you’re here expect to spend money getting around, but for us being here for work it was perfect. Most things are newly remodeled and done well for the most part. Elevators can get backed up, but not a huge deal. The only issue was with checking in. Called at 10:30 am to ask about an early check in. She said check at 12-12:30 because it should be possible. Call at 12:30 and she says not quite but we should be able to get you in by 1- 1:30 for sure. So we get to the hotel at 1:15 and the front desk says yes your room is ready but you have to contact the property manager. Call them and she says she doesn’t see it as ready. So we spent the next 1:45 minutes being bounced between the hotel and the condo owners sitting in the lobby frustrated instead of finding something fun to do if they had been honest or able to communicate with each other at all. Would stay at the hotel again, but not sure I’d stay in a room managed by this company again

Aug 2022This condo was perfect for our recent trip to Oahu! It was a quick walk to shopping, restaurants, and Waikiki beach. The room had a stunning view as well. The location was perfect for getting anywhere on the island quickly. Check-in/out was super easy and convenient as well.

Jan 2022The room was a private owned condo that was in the hotel, when I booked my stay with them, they charged me fees that are supposed to be paid to the hotel, but the card on file was declined, so I paid the fees again. I was charged twice for these same fees. The hotel told me when I checked in everything was paid for, and did not say anything as I checked out. They charged me after the fact, nice location, terrible service and shady. Won't be staying there again and will be disputing charges.

Dec 2019The location of the property is the best feature. The unit itself is standard (fair) accommodation. Minimal amenities and bathroom is outdated with minor plumbing issues—dripping vanity faucet and substandard shower valve.
Given these flaws plus the additional hotel fees, I cannot see a real value between the hotel charges and the condo daily rates.

Sep 2019Renting this property was amazing. The customer services were very attentive to anything you needed. The price of the hotel condo was great, but the extra charges for the hotel used of the pool wasn’t great.. the pool wasn’t use by me. So that extra charges was Unnecessary charges. That should be look into where the pool and towels should be included. The cleaning of the room was paid by me. Also other feeds were included, that next time I will be mindful when I rent again. Paid for what your going to used only.... other wise it was a great place to rent and the view was nice to see a little of the ocean.

My sister and I loved everything about our stay! Location, comfort, staff. Would stay again. One thing - In the listing and in the room it lists parking as $20/day. We were charged $30/day. Information needs to be updated. Outside lanai door handle should be replaced. Mahalo.

Someone, along the lines, cancelled our (3 night) reservations. The hotel, not the "host of the listing" moved people around to accommodate. However, I kept asking the hotel what it would cost to stay under the hotel vs the "vrbo host" either way they reinstated the reservation, at which point they said I couldn't cancel. I wanted the hotel room at this point due to it only costing $169+tax vs $600 something +$35 daily parking + $25 daily resort fee (which the whole place was under construction including the pool) +a random $50 key fee. The refrigerator was leaking all over the floor, I cleaned up. Only one fork, one spoon, three knifes. No cream or sugar. Extremely uncomfortable bed. Broken safe. Carpet was sticky, I think from too many cleaning chemicals being sprayed.<br/><br/>I like staying in "hosted properties" because they tend to add their own touch. Those little extras to help you feel comfortable. From decor to kitchen extras. However, this was a hotel room nothing more. However, we paid far more then what the same room just down the hall cost. <br/><br/>Also, we found ourselves trapped in the elevator more then once.

The condo itself was clean and had a nice view. It is time for new beds however. Very uncomfortable. Also, some extra pillows would be a simple touch. <br/>The management company lei Hawaii was a joke to deal with. You will be paying all of the following fees on top of your rents with this listing. <br/>Vrbo service fee. Mine was $78 dollars for 4 nights. <br/>$120 usd cleaning fee for a very small condo. <br/>$25 usd per night resort fee <br/>$50 usd key issuance fee. This is just for the hotel to give you a card to open the door. Costs 5 cents. Complete joke. <br/>And I’m the managements small print, you could be charged $200 usd if you lose one. Lol. <br/>Keep in mind you won’t get any cleaning or beds being made during your stay as well as you will have t pay to launder the towels in the unit. <br/>Hopefully this helps you out with your decision in when there or not to book this place for your holiday.

I enjoyed my stay at Alamoana. Check-in and check-out were done at the ftont desk at Alamoana Hotel and it was smooth. The room was a wonderful clean room with great ocean view. I made some questions Lei hawaii but they responded quick and kindly everytime. Overall I am very satisfied this stay. I'd like to use it next time I visit again.

We woke up every day with a good view of the ocean. All daily conveniences are available across a foot-bridge at the Ala Moana Centre. You will enjoy your holiday here whether you like to relax around the hotel or venture out to the city or surrounding areas by bus.

Accommodations were great. Room was clean and small fridge and microwave were nice to have. View was spectacular. Great access to the Ala Moana mall. Could walk to the beach. Hotel does get you with resort fee and parking fee.
