Jun 2019This is a very comfortable 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo that is perfect for 2 couples and their kids. Location is great, the beach is one of the best in NC and it is very close to both Jockey’s Ridge, Kitty Hawk and Manteo. It appears that many of the amenities have just been updated, so that was very nice. Unfortunately when we were there, the lights in the kitchen (overhead and on the stove) did not work. Also, the floors were very dirty - bare feet walking on the wood floors were black after a few minutes. If these two items are addressed, this would be the perfect place to go to enjoy the best of NC.

Jul 2017The condo is pretty much as advertised. Right on the beach, although no views of the ocean from the main floor. Only ocean view is from upstairs master bedroom. We enjoyed our stay...loved the very short walk over the dune to the beach...kitchen was nicely equipped...great TV set up with easy use and Netflix...comfy furniture and decor...loved the key-code access to get in...no messing with 'who has the key'.
Oddly, there were no top sheets on any of the beds...there were only fitted sheets and blankets. Kees was not accessible by phone, but they were very responsive by e-mail. They had someone come and supply the sheets to all the beds while we were out at dinner...all good. Probably about time to replace the carpet....

Sep 2022Overall we were very pleased with our stay. When we arrived there was a minor issue with the door code not working. However, I made a call and it was fixed within 15 mins. There was only one incident which management apologized for where there was a new dryer being delivered to the condo. We were very surprised when someone busted in the front door with it. The rep from Kees was there and apologized, but again it was uncomfortable to know at any point someone can just come into where you are staying. I would expect this at a hotel but not a rental.

The very nice lady heard all my complains and request.I called later the same day to remind them of the need of extra sheets.We stayed 4 nights, the sheets never arrived.The kids had a great time

Aug 2019Even though the unit mirrored the photos in the listing, down to the wall clock time that didn’t house a battery, the unit was much more outdated than the listing pictures reflected. Living room furniture is worn and dirty/dingy. The sliding doors, kitchen utensil drawers, lower oven drawer, and oven burner pans all dirty. When we opened the kitchen upper cupboards we were hit with a strong odor similar to an old musty basement which had transferred onto the dishes kept there. In order to use the items we had to wash first. It wasn’t till the last day when we tried to truly figure out why the smell was so bad that we discovered mold, yes mold, inside the cabinets. I took photos of the mold on the underside of the cabinet shelves. Disgusting. I did take photos as I will be placing them with my online reviews.

A little updating inside would have gotten my review to five stars.
