Vielleicht ist das Beste, dass wir nur eine kurze Strecke zu den Konzertorten bei Roche Estate und Hope Estate sind.

Nov 2010What a fabulous place and so serene and private. The house was brilliant in its layout having separate bedrooms all each with en-suites. The decor very high quality and the linen and towels and all the kitchen stuff just perfect for that modern setting amongst the vines. We also enjoyed the area we were in and the winery Piggs Peake our new favourite! I highly recommend Cattersfield Cottage for those traveling with others but yet want their own place. Especially great if you bring your parents or in-laws! And how wonderful that dogs are allowed. Any foreigners will love this too it has a field of Kangaroos. And if you are in a wheelchair you have access, which is even better.

Apr 2014We had a wonderful stay at Villa Siena.I would recommend it to anyone who needed to get away from the stress of everyday. The property was clean, pleasant and it was pleasant to wake up to the views surrounding the property. As a disabled person, it has easy access and mobility in the house.

Jan 2011We had a fabulous stay at Catersfield Cottage this Christmas. We really liked the location of the property - Mistletoe Lane is so scenic and the property itself has beautiful views. The house itself is very spacious. The interiors are very well maintained and it contained everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and wonderful. The pictures on Stayz don't do the house justice at all. Plus, Barbara was so lovely to deal with! We can't wait to return to Catersfield Cottage, only this time we'll be staying longer.

Sep 2015We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Villa Siena. This villa is large, well equipped with a few extras we were very pleased to find - coffee machine, cling wrap, salt, pepper, sugar etc. The view from the verandah over vines into bush with heaps of kangaroos in the early morning and evening was fantastic and one which overseas visitors would marvel. The area was very tranquil and beautiful for photography. The villa was well presented and had plenty of seating and crockery for a large group and the dishwasher was very quiet. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues (shower head in disabled bathroom and toilet seat in another room) which we were able to get around but need to be attended to for the comfort of guests. Also the beds are very hard and do take some getting used to. Perhaps a mattress topper would be a good addition. Overall we had a great stay
and were very pleased with this villa.

Oct 2020The property is in a great location for a look around the lower Hunter and experience some delicious food and quality wine.The studio is apart of the Gartelmann winery so a tasting is a must and a leisurely meal at the Deck cafe should not be missed. The studio its self has all the amenities to make the stay very comfortable.

Mar 2011Myself and 7 of my friends stayed in Catersfield Cottage over the weekend of 23rd March 2011. We found the accommodation in great condition, very spacious and airy with a great kitchen for our large group. Dealing with Barbara from Redspice was a real pleasure, she has been helpful and friendly every step of our booking which made the weekend retreat all the more enjoyable. I would say the accommodation is more suited to 3 couples as the sofa bed wasn't ideal but given the amount of wine consumed we managed to sleep fairly well! It would be advisable to take some small speakers or a laptop if you wish to play music as there wasn't a CD player (although you can get a music channel on the TV).All in all we had a wonderful stay at Catersfield Cottage and I would definitely re-visit.

The hosts are lovely and we couldn’t have asked for me
So peaceful, and great location to explore some of the more boutique/smaller vineyards in the area

Nov 2010Catersfield Cottage was great! Neat, tidy and new. Quiet location. Serenity plus. Kangaroos lounging around the grape vines in front of house. The pictures on stayz did not do this house justice. I would totally recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in the Hunter Valley. Well worth the money.

Jul 2018Arriving late on a Friday winter night, to welcoming lights and a warm fire, set the tone for the weekend! The studio is a perfect retreat for couples, especially if you need to recharge! You have privacy and great views of the garden. The accomodation is very comfortable and I would highly recommend. Everyone at Gartelmanns was very friendly. If having breakfast at The Deck, definitely book as busy on weekends. We will return!
