Dec 2018We were traveling with a couple smaller children, one of which needed a pack and play. We were provided with a pack and play, but it was filthy. Luckily we had an extra blanket to put down for the baby to sleep on instead of the pack and play.
We found some things that we thought were worth mentioning for anyone traveling with smaller children. A large kitchen knife was sitting on the counter within a small child’s reach and several glass vases were also within reach. The bathroom light switch had a corner broken off the plate exposing the electrical box. There was also an electrical outlet (low to the ground) that was not flush against the wall causing a gap that could allow little fingers to get behind the outlet cover. We noticed a couple of ant / roach killer cans tucked under the dresser and some broken tiles in that room as well. Most of these things were easily resolved by moving or blocking them.
The cleaning fee was 26% of our stay, but I would suggest the owner find a different cleaning crew. The blankets were stained with a couple different things and the beds seemed to have been remade without cleaning the linens after the last stay.
We only had 1 bath towel for a family of 6 and the bathroom sink was about the size of one you would find in an airplane.
The whole check-in and check-out process seemed extremely impersonal as we never met or talked to the owner in person. We were just given a code via email to get in and out of the unit. Maybe it is just me, but I like to meet the owner to get a proper welcoming, a walk-through of the property and some tips and tricks about good places to eat, things to see, etc...

May 2017We had a great time the place was so clean and very well kept. Ruth is amazing she answered all the questions I had before our trip. The apartment was in a safe place and it was near all all the shops. My next trip to PR this will be my place to stay. Thank you Ruth 😊�

Sep 2021We enjoyed our stay all the way up until the end, then it was a nightmare!! Upon arrival communication with the host was pretty good and check in was easy! The place was in a great location, near beach and food spots. The space was suitable for our needs both indoors and outdoors. Everything was neat and clean however we did find long hairs on the linens on the beds. The bathroom was cute but extremely tight, When you sit on the toilet your knees touch the wall. My only complaint was that on my last night there, there were issues with the bathroom and there was sewage all over the floors.. I contacted the host multiple times and got no response for the first hour. Then when Ruth finally responded to my text messages, she responded with “a plumber is on his way to help.” No plumber showed up! The host did not even respond after that at all! I begged and begged Ruth for help and got NOTHING!! AT ALL!! VRBO Customer care resolution center really responded great with exceptional service and help thru that horrible experience!! Thank you to them! So all in all it’s a cute place to stay at as long as nothing goes wrong bc then it’s a fend for yourself kind of situation!!

Oct 2021We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The property was clean, and although we couldn’t get the tv to work and couldn’t find a working wine opener, we really enjoyed the place. The owner was communicative and very nice. I’d definitely come back here next time I visit San Juan.

Oct 2021Upon Arriving I mediately told Reust there were ants and she directed me to the mob. The last thing a mom wants to do when she finally arrives to vacation is my floors. We had a leaky toilet, cockroaches, the kitchen is so dimly lit you could not use it, evening, two of the four burners on the stove worked and Rich’s response was nobody else has ever complained, no hot water in the kitchen so I’m not sure how one is supposed to wash dishes. Linens in the fold out couch had blood on them upon arrival which route did fix rapidly.

Mar 2019This was an emergency trip for the four of us and based on our circumstances this apartment met our needs. The apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood near Isla Verde and very close to the airport which was a plus. It was reasonably clean, two bedrooms with a/c. The bathroom was tiny, we needed blankets, more towels and hangers, but we all managed. The kitchenette could benefit from a few more basic kitchenware items. Things that can be easily taken care off for the next guests.
We were hardly in the apartment during the day, but certainly enjoyed our time in the apartment relaxing at night. We appreciate Ruth’s excellent response time to our questions and concerns. The check-in and check-out were flawless. We will definitely considered staying at Ruth’s apartment again. Jenny-Oklahoma

Mar 2019This place served its purpose as we were staying only for one night. The only drawback is the space in the bathroom. A tall person would have a difficult time using the toilet as there is maybe less than a foot between the wall and the toilet seat and the sink is way too small. The beach is not steps away. It's at least a 15 minutes walk crossing over the expressway on the cross bridge and then crossing the street to walk over to the beach.

Aug 2019This place is very clean and a great place to stay. It is a little small but there is so much to do in Puerto Rico that we were not there a lot during the day. It is very close to the beach, grocery stores, gas stations and several great restaurants. I highly recommend staying at this place. Ruth is very nice and responds very quickly to questions.

The bathroom is very tiny and the shower was horrible. We contacted the owner and she responded immediately. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see if the shower was fixed but she said she would have a plumber come. Very low water pressure and cold water which was very disappointing. Great space for a tiny place. We fit 2 adults and 4 kids comfortably for 2 nights.

Great space for a tiny place. We fit 2 adults and 4 kids comfortably for 2 nights.

The bathroom is modern however is very small- a full figure person would not be comfortable. It was clean however we found ants on the sofa bed inside the room. The location is great however there were people coming in and out of the apartments all night and talking loud. Someone knocked on our door late at night, advising that they were coming to fix the lock on the door. We didn’t open! There were guest using the washer and dryer until early hours in the morning and we could hear it on our room. It would be a good idea to put a lock on the gate.

Jun 2021The property location is very nice, it was close to beach and shopping and airport. However, the bed sheets were not very clean. There were some hair on my bedsheet. Also there were lots of partying young adults who were smoking marijuana and making lot of noise at night. We did report it to the property manager.

Sep 2018My friends and I had an incredible time visiting Puerto Rico. This is a great location to stay if you want to experience a little bit of everything! We had easy access to the beach, bars, restaurants and was an easy drive to El yunque. Definitely recommend staying here!

Apr 2017For a small place, the rooms were decently sized, big enough for a family of six. I found the bathroom cute, but petite, so I wouldn't recommend if your a rather tall individual. Some other things I have to mention are that neither of the DVD players functioned and the dryers were broken, leaving us to hang our clothes to dry on chairs and hangers. I believe if these two things are addressed, this is a nice place to stay and is in walking distance of food and the beach, which makes a very convienent location. Thanks Ruth.

May 2019Excellent location, walking distance to the beach and for good food too. The apartment super nice and confi. Two full rooms with air conditioning, full kitchen, with parking on site. The only downside, it’s the small bathroom, but fair for the price and location. The host it’s excellent, always pending and very responsive for the requests I made. Definitely I will try to stay here next time I visit the Island. The only reason I gave 4 of 5 stars, it’s because of the bathroom size. Highly recommended.. (Altamente recomendado).
