Pros: walking distance to many good foods, great shops, The Grand movie theater and the pier, Wal Mart was less than a mile away. beach was great. very quiet place being up at 22nd floor but u could still hear the waves from the balcony. lots of stars at night. AC worked great and a full size washer and dryer was awesome to have and use. felt safe on night walks (take flashlights). mostly family typesCons: sleeper sofa mattress was not usable so really only sleeps 6 comfortable not 8, toaster and garbage disposal both did not work and all drains were very slow, not all cooktop burners worked, no large skillet. patio chairs need replacing, master room toilet needs new flush valve to make it more silent for the late night uses.Except for the sleeper sofa for us these were all minor issues that could addressed very easily by the owner. The bigger concern is that we called about these repairs and never heard back from anyone. Even if the repairs were to be done later after our stay, a call back would have been the polite and professional thing to do. This is reason we gave it a lower rating.

Great view and close to Pier Park

I will do my best to be brief but this will be rough. The unit is a complete wreck and should be taken off the property management list until it is updated. In short, filthy and has not seen paint in over a decade. The pots and pans...or lack there of ( we had one 4 inch pan to feed a family of 7) look like they are at least as old as this unit. You couldn't give them away to a homeless shelter they were so scratched and dirty. All the exterior furniture is about as old. The legs are rusted off the bottoms of the chairs and you can't even sit on them for fear of breaking your neck. Next on the list.. appliances: the toaster had the guts ripped out yet it was still there for someone to use. I mean seriously??? Oven is rusted. Do you know how old an oven needs to be to rust??? Garbage disposer was rotted out and we had to keep a bucket under it when we used the sink. Beds.. hmm I'm not even going there...you can imagine. We called property management who was very courteous and helpful but could not do anything for the unit because we are told the u it owner will not spend any money. They did bring us new pots and a toaster. In summary...and this goes out to the unit owner, Sir, I own 10 rental properties in Tennessee. I would never let such a beautiful asset fall apart as you have and keep renting it. If you really don't want to spend any more money on this, call me and I will buy it from you and gut it and put it in my rental pool. I'm totally serious. If not, at the very least, stop renting it. It's not right for folks to walk into a unit only to have to release a wrath of hell on your management co. Cudos to both Jessicas at the management co for saving your tail on this week.
