Der aktuelle Anstrich ist durchweg zutreffend und macht diese gemütliche Küstenwohnung zum perfekten Versteck am Strand. Modernisierte Möbel im Hauptschlafzimmer und Ende 2017 brandneue, maßgefertigte Etagenbetten auf dem Flur für die Kleinen. Jetzt hat dieses eine Schlafzimmer viel Stauraum im Gegensatz zu ähnlichen Einheiten. Ablagefächer / Regale sind jetzt an einem Ende der Kojen sowie unter der unteren Koje angebracht - viel Platz, um die Sachen der Kinder für die Woche aufzubewahren !! Der PI 406 verfügt nicht nur über diesen maßgeschneiderten neuen Lagerraum in den Kojen, sondern hat auch maßgeschneiderte Flachbildfernseher in jeder Koje, damit die Kleinen sich früh morgens / spät abends selbst unterhalten können, während die Erwachsenen die Getränke- und Entspannungszeiten genießen. Diese Fernseher sind in der Regel NICHT in Eigentumswohnungen enthalten. Dieser Eigentümer hat diese Geräte in dieses Gerät eingebaut, um einen Bonus für die Anmietung der schönen 406 zu erhalten. Apr 2022The property had a beautiful view of the beach, and chairs on the balcony. It also had....cockroaches. My husband and I walked in and immediately noticed dust piled high on the washing machines (which also seemed to have mold in them), mold in the shower, soap scum, dishes that were spotty and had an odor to them, and EVERY night we were visited by cockroaches running through the kitchen and bathroom. The first night we pulled the comforter back to reveal stained white sheets as well. Contacted the company, telling them of the cockroaches as well. They offered to send a cleaning crew, but at that point, we had already gone to the TomThumb down the road and bought a bottle of bleach cleaner (along with refusing to use the washing machine or silverware), and clearly, a cleaning crew is not going to help their bug issue (which was ironically ignored and not addressed). They did drop off new sheets. Don't waste the money. Stay at a hotel with guaranteed cleanliness and that you won't be leaving with an extra guest in your bag.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pelican Isle. The owners of this unit had provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay plus some amusing wall art that we enjoyed. The beach service was appreciated during the day and the balcony view at night. The only fault I could find was an annoying smell in the Condo lobby- machine oil maybe.

We've been coming to Ft. Walton/Destin area over 30 years and this complex is a favorite. Plenty of parking, speedy elevators and easy access to beach with no gate needing keypad entry/exit. Extremely quiet even with full parking lot. Friendly staff especially Joel and his partner setting up beach chairs. There were many people that were extremely nasty and rude to these guys but they always stayed kind and respectful.<br/>This unit is beautiful and oozes relaxation. Living room comfortable for sitting around and kitchen stocked well.<br/>The beds are another story. All were like laying on cardboard. We used to bring a padded mattress pad but hadn't needed it the last few rentals. <br/>While the balcony set made from PVC pipe is trendy and cute it's not very comfortable for sitting in very long (we're not large people) and the table is too large to move around easily.<br/>Over all this is a great unit we'd rent again but we'd bring bed and chair pads.<br/>Thanks for allowing us to borrow your piece of paradise!

We have been using Brooks and Shorey for many years now. Always a great experience. This was our last vacation with my daughter before her wedding. The condo nor the beach was great. She loved all of the shelves in the bathroom. Also found a new place to eat. Lulus and cow head.

This was our second time staying at Pelican Isle in a Brooks and Shorey condo. We have loved staying there both times. Very clean, family friendly, beautiful beach. My kids especially love the tvs in the bunk beds! Would highly recommend for families with young children!

Pelican Isle 406 Condo was the perfect place for our family with two teenagers! The views from this beachfront location are perfect. The staff and groundskeepers were very visible and professional along with the beach chair attendants! It is now our go to place at the beach!

Pelican Island condo are always the best for the money. They are located on Okaloosa Island where it is not as crowded as the Destin area beaches. But, Destin is only 6 miles away where we go for dinner. The Gulf is the "same pond" as Destin but more peaceful.
