Wir bieten großzügige und rücksichtsvolle Gastfreundschaft in einer hellen, luftigen, komfortablen und ästhetisch ansprechenden Einheit. <br> <br>Aus gesundheitlichen Gründen ist das Gerät / Haus giftfrei. Bei der Konstruktion wurden keine Pestizide oder giftigen Baumaterialien verwendet, und bei der Ausstattung wurden VOC-arme Farben und Klebstoffe verwendet. <br>Sie werden ein Minimum an Kunststoffen finden; natürliche Hölzer, Metalle, Baumwolle Manchester wird überall verwendet. <br>Zur Reinigung verwenden wir nur Essig, Soda Bi-Carb und Eco Detergent. Die zur Verfügung gestellte Shampoo / Körper-Seife ist ebenfalls ein Öko-Produkt (deshalb schäumt es nicht. Kein Lorbeersulfat). <br>Das Haus ist solarbetrieben und nutzt Regenwasser, um das WC zu spülen. <br> <br>Das Gerät ist sehr gut schallisoliert mit Doppelwänden und Schalldämmung. May 2018Yes, I did like it very much. Lovely property, great location and wonderful host. The freshly baked bread and the scones were very much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in visiting again or recommending it to others.

Oct 2017We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful unit. It was located within easy walking distance from the shops, beaches and other attractions. Apart from having problems accessing the WiFi, everything else was perfect and we would highly recommend it as a great holiday stay. We will certainly come back again.

May 2021We only had a brief stay, arriving after dark and leaving early the next morning. The view from the balcony in the morning was a wonderful surprise and we wish we hadn't been in a hurry the next morning as we didn't get the chance to fully enjoy all this lovely little stay had to offer.

Jun 2021We loved our overnight stay. Communication with Shane was excellent and he greeted us on arrival sharing info about the local walks. The apartment is super clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Shane!

Jan 2017Very enjoyable place to stay. It is actually an isolated part of the house where the hosts live, but with great privacy. First floor, very generous beds. We slept like kings on a huge super king size bed that was hand crafted by the owner. Will sleep 2+2+1(kid size couch) comfortably. The kitchen is a kitchenette, that might matter if you plan to self cater, but good enough to make coffee and toasts - by the way we were greeted with complimentary home-baked bread (what a treat!) with butter, and a bottle of wine, and basics like coffee, teas, oil, salt etc were provided as well for our comfort. The balcony is quiet small but has a great water view and gas bbq. The bathroom is state of art. Beaches, shops, cafes are minutes away. Bottom line: great location for a short stay like ours.

Nov 2018This was my first time staying in a shared style accommodation where the self-contained apartment is actually within a house that the owner resides in and can only be accessed by entering the house itself. I felt like I was an intruder. This may appeal to some who are keen for the interaction, but in this instance for me, it wasn't what I was seeking - on the contrary even. I didn't realise just how shared it was until after I'd booked. The overtly placed cleaning implements and signs/notes only added to the ever diminishing experience that I was not at my own leisure. No doubt the host must have had some awful prior guests to warrant this level of overbearingness, but it's perhaps understandable given just how shared the accommodation actually is. I myself would not stay again. Others may find it more to there liking though.
The room itself was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a log. That's all I was really after.

Apr 2018This is a well cared for and attractive unit with the owner providing breakfast (including milk, eggs and bread) and a bottle of wine for sipping on the balcony, which overlooks Kendalls Beach. Shane took time to explain everything to us and I enjoyed looking at all the beautiful artwork on the walls! He was available to help or clarify by text. We didn't see him apart from his welcome on arrival.

Dec 2021This is a great apartment to stay in good or bad weather, thanks to the balcony with a view of the ocean. It is full of light, sun in the morning, comfortable with a great bed. We also loved the decoration and artwork. You can walk to the beach, to a little shop with excellent local products and to Kiama. We highly recommend it and we will be back as often as we can.

Mar 2017The best thing about my stay was the space, eco stance and the view. It is a lovely space albeit all the little reminders around - bit excessive. I understand that the owners want to protect their property/ the environment (as I do) but I think most adults can be trusted to make good decisions and its detailed on both sites and in the instructions. I am a very responsible & rental space respectful person.
Shane told me the wifi wasn't working when I arrived but I felt I could live with that if I had a TV/DVD player as indicated in 'features'. Unfortunately, it was very wet most of the 5 days I stayed and the DVD player wasn't working. It was going to take a few days to get it fixed but as that meant I would be without a TV as well I had to ask for it to be done quicker. I felt like I had to insist a bit more than I should given the weather & that I needed to stay in a few days due to medical issues - which I had to uncomfortably explain. Shane offered me his space to make up for it, which I eventually took advantage of & was grateful for and they were respectful mostly giving me privacy but I still felt a little uncomfortable about needing to use their space.
Fortunately, the TV/DVD was returned/installed by Shane but I later found the channels weren't set. I followed the instructions a few times but it wouldn't work so I texted Shane to program it because I didn't want to be responsible for challenges or possible damage to the TV. He said he couldn't help at that time, so I contacted my husband and eventually we worked it out (the cable had been incorrectly connected & the channels had not been reset). It took a while though which was frustrating.
Shane reminded me to make sure the windows were shut a few times, once on arrival and then by text & I felt I was adult enough to do this or at least once asked on arrival, regardless of the rain.
I was also asked to keep the main door locked at all times and there's also a note on it saying keep it locked at all times so I had to text and advise that someone was leaving it unlocked as it led directly to my space.
Shane seems nice enough but I feel he could trust people a little more and when things go wrong with a rental property they should be attended to with a little more priority (given the presenting circumstances), not pushing by the person staying. I didn't like having to do that but felt it was not forthcoming without that.

We arrived in the lovely house and the room we stayed in had a lovely view of the beach, a cozy living room and bedroom, and a cooking area. Shane was very kind and made bread for us and we enjoyed it very much. The bed also had heating blankets which were wonderful for the winter. The living room was kept warm with the heater. Even though the internet was down for a part of our journey, we had a wonderful time and would be keen to return if we visit Kiama again. The house is conveniently located between the little blowhole and train station, easy to access to many places in town. Thank you Shane for the wonderful stay!
