Jan 2022We were a group where half were working remotely and half were enjoying the beach and location. We loved this spot and found the property clean, accessible, and a good location. Loved having the cafe and tiki bar at the property and the beach, pool, and hot tub were perfect for us. Would go back again.

Aug 2022We stayed here for my birthday week! Absolutely no complaints!! Perfect location, amenities, staff, etc…Ally at the tiki bar A+. Beautiful beach. Great memories, and we’d do it all over again!!!

Feb 2020We stayed at this property for a month.
Tried getting money back and find another condo. Sadly, we couldn’t get refund so had to stay.
So upon arrival, found condo NOT newly furnished. Furniture very worn.. No gulf view unless you stand in corner. It’s parking lot view.
Had friends visiting and within first 15 min stool at the bar tipped over with her on it! Thankfully she was not hurt!! But upon turning stool over, maintenance man said it was missing 2 screws so he removed it from condo.
Bed in master bedroom squeezed so bad you couldn’t move. ITrip came and replaced boxsprings. But the mattress is shot. You sleep in a dip ( on both sides) so don’t even consider sleeping in middle of bed.
Ice maker leaking so ice froze solid. Sent repair man next day and replaced it. We won’t talk about what was under fridge😲
Toilet in guest bath wouldn’t stop running so maintenance replaced inside parts of toilet. Kitchen sink was leaking. Someone put old fry pan under the sink to catch the drips. Said they couldn’t fix while we were there because water would have to be turned off.
Woke up few days later to no hot water, and that was fixed in less than a hr. Thank you again maintenance man!!
Words can not describe carpet in bedrooms.
Sent carpet cleaning guys to clean it the next day. They said they would recommend replacing it. Said cleaning it wasn’t going to help it much. Not what I wanted to hear because our daughter was flying in with her toddler who crawls everywhere.
We were also told owner was just there for 2 weeks. What?? Then how can all these things be wrong and why so dirty?
So yes.. I did clean under the fridge, washed baseboards, and cleaned inside cabinets.. only to discover no real pots and pans if you plan on cooking. Again, maintenance guy brought us 3 new pans so we could cook. Thank you!!
Sweeper was gross and full to top with someone else’s dirt, so they brought us new sweeper.
So....condo a bit better now. The grounds are beautiful. Pools were great!
But if you plan on spending time inside, you may be disappointed. And don’t think having exercise room next door a perk.
Very noisy! Will we return? Hmmm
And don’t make mistake I made. Read thru reviews from year ago! Same complaints that should of been addressed then. Don’t say you will have maintenance check things and yet they stay the same, or get worse.
I will say ITrip got on top of thinks as best as they could very quickly and we appreciated that very much.

Mar 2018We recently spent two great weeks (and our second consecutive year) in this unit and are pleased with the quick response, courtesy and professionalism of the staff whenever there is an issue or question. For example, they called back within 30 minutes when we reported an internet access issue that we resolved ourselves just before the call-back. They quickly replaced a defective shower head. As for other observations that we could live with, both bathroom sinks in the unit leak slightly at the base and the dishwasher, while still functional, may be on its last legs. For safety, we recommend installing a grab bar in the master bathroom for entering/exiting the shower tub which is rather high.
Just the same, still one of Treasure Island’s best finds.

Nov 2022We have stayed at this property a couple of times. It is by far the best location for Treasure Island -John’s Pass- Sanding Ovations.

Mar 2021We had no hot water for two of the days. The maintenace staff did get back to me, however I am still waiting on a compensation for this issue. Our showers were freezing cold., not hot water to do dishes or wash hands.

Mar 2022We had a wonderful vacation at this property! The condo was great! We had most everything we needed within the condo. Beach and pool was awesome! Convenient to great restaurants and activities! It was our first time here and booked again for next year before we left!

Jun 2021We had a short stay - 3 nights, so this property served our purposes. The appliances are dated, the furniture a bit scuffed up. The wall registers definitely need cleaned and the second bedroom mattress should be replaced (pretty 'saggy').

Apr 2019We had a group of 5 ladies stay at this condo, and it worked perfectly. There could be a few updates, but for the amount of time we actually spent inside it really didn't bother us. Everything was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed. The location was wonderful. Close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. Walking distance to John's Pass, although we usually drove. Easy access to the beach and the pools. Pools and hot tub were clean and had plenty of seating. The addition of a cooler and beach chairs inside the condo were a definite plus. We would definitely stay again.

The pool was a highlight too and we really appreciated the beach and pool items (towels, chairs, beach toys, pool noodles) that were in the condo. While this unit is not facing the beach, from the balcony we were able to see the water and the sunset (although we particularly enjoyed the sunset from the beach). We had a lot of fun exploring the area and this was a perfect location for doing that. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Aug 2020We decided to take a visit to Treasure Island becuase it isn't to far from where we live in North Tampa. The location is Fantastic!! We were highly disappointed in the condition of the condo. It has the potential to be Beautiful! It was SO DIRTY!! I took pictures and we sent them to the property managers. They offered to adjust the cleaning fee and offer us free amenties (rentals) for our stay but then noone ever responded back to me via text or calls. Very Disappointing!! It's as if someone did a quick sweep through and then left. I understand with COVID conditions staff is low but the amount of dust and dirt and countertops were so dirty. There was sand in the washer and dryer doors. A simple Vaccum could clean up. If I were the owners I would be upset.

Apr 2022We came for the beach & found we prefer this over Orlando attractions. This place was quiet enough, close by multiple things, & the other people ( guests) were interesting. Beware the bartender though; enough said.

Jul 2022We all had an incredible time at Sunset Vista. The weather was perfect, the Resort Pools, Tiki Bar and Beach were frequently visited and enjoyed. There was a Shake ShopAcross the parking lot- the perfect way to cap off the day. Thanks for everything- we will return asap.

Apr 2022This property was just as listed. We needed extra linens and asked the staff and they brought us some. Pool was nice and it was close to beach. Beach chairs were broken. But my kids used the sand toys available to us. Overall we had a great week!

May 2020This property is in a great location. I only have a few things that need improved. Shower curtain and shower head needs cleaned as mold was on both. Bathrooms could have been more cleaned. Patio door in living room and in master bedroom locks don’t work. This unit is near the ground floor so it felt unsafe that these patio doors didn’t lock.

Mar 2020This condo was in the perfect location and the staff at the cafe were amazing. Within walking distance to Johns Pass and short drive to Clearwater and St Petersburg. Definitely would stay there again when we are in the area

Aug 2021The unit had a laundry list of items that weren’t up to par; bathroom lighting out/flickering, laminate coming off of cabinets, sliding glass door didn’t lock, microwave turntable/lights didn’t work. The pics suggested we had an oceanview when in fact we were the furthest unit from the ocean. The couple rolls of toilet paper were like sandpaper. The instructions made a big deal about returning beach towels, yet we didn’t even have beach towels in the room. The dishwasher and w/d were EXTREMELY loud when in use. The overall look of the room was very outdated from the appliances and furniture, to the rust in the bathrooms. We own rental properties and have numerous timeshares, so we are familiar with VRBO. Our expectations were not met. We all felt it was very overpriced for what we got. I wouldn’t recommend this unit.

Aug 2022The property was perfect for what we wanted to do for our girls weekend ...RELAX . The beach and pool were in a perfect location from the condo ... FYI this is also a motel but I guess some units are privately owned . There is a cafe on the property that had the best bloody mary's and great pool/beach side food and the 2 men that work there are so kind . Also the bar down by the pool had great drinks and really friendly bartenders . The only negative thing I would have to say is the condo itself is really outdated . Towels were shabby , the couch was old and uncomfortable and the rug in my bedroom was so dirty it looked like its never been cleaned or changed in years . The dryer didn't work and they did send someone right away when we called but 2x being fixed still didn't work so for five days it was a challenge to have dry towels . One other thing is if your someone older or even someone with a bad back or maybe a bad knee you could never sit at the table for dinner because it was one of the high top tables that just wasn't comfortable . The restaurants and shops were a cab ride away and very nice . I would definitely stay at this property again just not this unit .
