Jul 2018We stayed here with my daughter and 2 of our friends and it was great. We were close to the ocean and it made our vacation great. There is a few things that I would recommend. The pillows on all the beds are very soft almost like not having one so that could use an upgrade. There is a good amount of kitchen ware but not very many pans or big pans which made it difficult to cook good meals like with meats. There was only 6 bath towels and 6 wash cloths for 5 of us staying there that became a little difficult to deal with cause we had to do laundry every few days. The door was a little touchy but we got used to that after the first day. The couch in the living room was super comfy but had some rips and the blinds were constantly falling off when opening or closing. We would also recommend a small indoor out door grill maybe for the back porch. The pool closes super early at dusk which is not something we are used to, so it would have been nice to have that open a little later. We loved having the washer and dryer especially since we spent most of our time at the beach and pool. Everything that could be fixed with this property is little things. We would for sure come back and would recommend it to anyone looking.

Jun 2019We loved our time here! It was so spacious and cozy! They had everything you could think of for the beach. The view from the balcony was also beautiful! Would definitely recommend this place for a family. You will not be disappointed!

Apr 2020We had leased and planned to stay at a condo in Indian Shores for the month of March. Unfortunately, with the uncertainty caused by the corona virus pandemic, we decided to head back to our home in upstate NY after just over 2 weeks.But concerning the property, it was just what we were looking for and the reality lived up to our expectations. The condo was very nicely furnished, and was just a short walk to the beach. While we were there, we went through VRBO to ask if we could reserve the unit for March of next year, but were told it had already been rented for the first 3 months of the year. It was just a little disappointing that we didn't have that option a year ahead of time.Options to have mail forwarded for the month were limited. We ended up having mail sent to some friends who live a few miles away.Overall, we had a really nice time and enjoyed the unit for the 2+ weeks that we were there.

Feb 2020We enjoyed our stay with the one exception. The second bedroom is very tight because of the child's twin bed that shares the room. It required the second couples husband to crawl over his wife to get out of bed during the night. I might add a plus that a new washer and dryer were installed while we were there.

Mar 2020Very happy with this property. Location is central to lots of great restaurants, bars, convenience shopping. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces were roomy. Updated furnishings and well stocked kitchen. Property is clean and well maintained. Very nice pool area. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely book this property again.

Aug 2018This was a wonderful place to stay. Great proximity to the beach, shopping and food. The condo was clean and roomy. We also had a pier to fish from and a pool that was really nice also! The pull knob in the bathtub was broken so you couldn't change the water from tub to shower, but that was nothing big. The rest of the home was really nice, good flow, and again clean!! Made great memories there!

Jun 2022This place was great! Great view of the inter-coastal Waterway from the balcony. Easy access to the beach and Gulf Blvd which has multiple restaurants, shops, etc. Great parking spot for those staying here. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nice pool, as well. We went to Busch Gardens, which was less than an hour away.

Jul 2018This is our 2nd time staying in this unit. Everything is clean, beds comfortable. Quiet location. You can see the inter-coastal waterway from the balcony. Nice way to relax watching the boats and wildlife. Short walk to the beach which is always great! Pool is clean as well as the restrooms for the pool. Nice to park under the condo so the car is not so hot! Kitchen equipped with coffee maker, toaster oven, crock pot and blender. Could use updated skillets. Plenty of plates. glasses ect. Lots of beach toys, boards ect on the balcony. Could use new beach chairs as these were rusting and hard to adjust. Umbrella included and another larger tent in closet. Overall, I would recommend this unit and I will be back in July if not sooner!

Jul 2018This condo is spacious and has everything you need for the week. You walk into the condo and the first left in a long hallway is the master bedroom. Further down the hallway was the common restroom and then the 2nd bedroom. The hallway ends in the dinning/kichen/family room area. From a security standpoint and a mom that worries I LOVED that the master bedroom was right by the front door.
The kitchen had everything we needed including pans, tuperware, coffee machine, cutting boards, strainer, toaster oven and blender.
Both TV's (family room and master bedroom) are smart tv's so we could log into our nexflix account.
The family room had games and puzzles. We played them everyday. My kids are convinced they need Oceanopoly now!
The balcony is huge. It has a table that can seat 6. Plus there is storage chest that had noodles (which was a huge hit for us at the beach), buckets, boogie boards and other beach items.
The beach was no more then a 3 min walk. It was so close we'd swim in the morning, go back for lunch, reapply sunscreen and go back!
The beach was clean and quiet. A great family beach. I had never swam in the gulf. I was so surprised to find the water was warm like bath water!
We did have an issue getting into the condo. In less than 5 min I had a call back and it was the 4th of July! You really cannot beat that response time.
This was a great place for a family vacation! Thank you!

May 2022There are however a few issues that need to be addressed by the property owner. Most of the beach chairs and umbrella are rusty, broken and unusable. The towels and washcloths are stained and dingy. Would have been nice to have had hand towels in the bathrooms. The coffee pot was a mess! It had burned coffee in the carafe and the hotplate was rusted. Lots of coffee grounds in the maker itself. Needed lots of cleaning before it could be used. The kitchen cupboards and drawers need to be cleaned. Also, the dishes in the cupboards were not clean. We had to run them all through the dishwasher before using them.

Sep 2018The property was as described clean and well stocked, right down to beach toys and umbrella. Downfall carrying everything up the stairs. Beach access right across the way. Pool needed a good vacuum lots of debris. Need new pillows in master bedroom. Would definitely stay again, had just about anything you could need with a beautiful view.

The beach access was across the street and down a couple of properties which was not too bad. There’s plenty of room in the condo and amenities was well. However, the air in the unit cannot go lower than 74 which makes it very stuffy if the fans are not on high and running constantly. Also, the pool was dirty for about 3 days. I know this because there was a used bandaid floating in the bottom. Also the pool closes at dusk so my kids didn’t get to swim at night. The units are all upstairs so you either have to carry your beach things upstairs or leave them in the car. There’s no elevator. We made the mistake of leaving our stuff at the parking place in the corner out of the way while we ran to get food. When we came back, our cart was pulled out to the middle of our parking space and tagged with a note about not leaving it out. There’s rules posted about the stuff but it was our first day and we didn’t stop and read the rules. Also, the only way to wash off from the beach is in the pool area. Well, the pool is only accessible by key, not code. So if you don’t take the pool key every time you go to the beach you can’t wash off and can’t swim. You also can’t use the restroom at the pool without a code. So you have to go to your room sandy and wash off there and use the restroom there too. It was innconveniences like access to the pool, restroom and washing off the sand that I disliked about the place. With 3 kids those things matter unless you want your condo full of sand and your car full of sand.

Dec 2019The condo was very clean and well maintained. The location was very nice as well. Check in was incredibly easy. I had no need to contact the owner because everything was taken care of. However, their communication via email was just enough. We will stay here again on a return trip.

This until is on the third floor so it’s about 28 steps to reach the front door. Some room for improvement with cleanliness. Beach umbrella and most of the chairs are broken so you may want to make arrangements to rent these things. Overall we had a great time and this place is a nice location with good restaurants close by.

May 2022Overall we had a very good experience. When we arrived the housekeeper had not arrived yet to clean after the last guests but as soon as I contacted the owners they apologized and contacted her immediately and she got right over and took care of it. Other than that we were very pleased with everything and very much enjoyed our stay.

Jul 2019Myself, my parents and two kids had such a wonderful stay at your beautiful condo!! Everything was so nice and clean, beds were so comfortable, tons of games for us to play, beautiful, big balcony overlooking the waterway. When I had a question I just sent it through here and literally 2 minutes later would have a response. Great, easy communication.
The beach access was right across the street and up a few steps. We loved the dock where we went fishing a few days and then would come out in the evenings to watch the dolphins play in the waterway!
We made a day trip to Disney. It was about an 80 min drive. Very easy trip to and from.
My son is begging me to book this place already for next year!!!!

May 2021I have never felt more at home, away from home. Captains Cove is more residential than touristy! It's exactly what we needed. Quite & other residents were so nice & welcoming. The condo was clean and perfect for my family. We had some personal family issues come up, the property manager was beyond helpful & listened & was very caring. We can't wait to go back!

Jul 2019Condo was spacious, clean and modern. Beds were comfortable. Nice pool. 5 minute walk to beach. We would recommend this condo to all. It was nice that they provided a lot of extras, like bed linens, beach towels, games, etc.
