Aug 2016We stayed for 7 days and had a wonderful time. Perfect location if you're looking to be steps away from everything. The car stayed parked all week and we walked to everything because it was so close. The apartment was very clean and recently remodeled along with being dog friendly it's the perfect spot to spend some time. The Gimble family are super nice people and easy to deal with and I would recommend staying in any one of the locations they have all in the same building.

Sep 2021We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment overlooks one of the charming main streets in Boothbay Harbor and you can even see a bit of the ocean from one of the windows. We really enjoyed relaxing in our room and looking out at the doings in town below. So much fun! We brought our two (very) small pups and it was very comfortable for them in the apartment. One flight down, and we were right on the street in town. The town is very dog-friendly, so that’s a nice bonus. The apartment was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We felt comfortable right away. Parking is a little tricky in town, but the owners told us the best places to park, and then we were all set. We loved that the location is central to so many wonderful places to visit. We explored all the nearby peninsulas and towns and beaches…. All within a short drive. And Boothbay Harbor itself has lots of shops and restaurants, so you can easily spend a day close to “home”. (We really enjoyed kayaking right off the harbor. There’s a kayak rental place right in town). Overall we had such a lovely time! Loved the apartment, the owners are nice and very responsive (they own the convenience shop right downstairs from the apt). We’d love to come back again in the Fall!

Aug 2016Very clean, open space with all the amenities. Great kitchen and pleasant staff helped us get settled. Fun to watch the busy street from above. I would suggest guests plan on packing efficiently for this second floor apartment. It was a bit tricky to unload our luggage at a busy time of day and then move our car. Safe parking is provided about 2 blocks away.

Aug 2019This is an amazing property! Literally in the middle of beautiful Boothbay Harbor. Patty and Mark, owners, were very, very accommodating. The apartment is very small (studio, no separate bedroom) but suited the needs of three women who used it mostly to just sleep and people watch. Very clean and decorated nicely. Highly recommend this property.

Jul 2019The apartment was very cute, well maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen utensils were fully stocked. Laundry facilities are a very nice touch.Patty is very sweet and willing to provide you with information and tips about the area to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. My wife and I would definitely stay there again.

Jul 2019The apartment was in the heart of the downtown area. Very nicely decorated and very clean. Perfect size for 1-2 people. Nice windows to lookout and people watch. Patti & her husband were very nice & accommodating. They were next door at the Harbor Mart if I needed anything. The only drawback was there was 15 steps to the 2nd floor & I had a broken toe and had to carry my dog at the same time. (No reflection on the owners as I was aware it was on the 2nd floor...toe was broken 1 week before trip)

Oct 2022Staying right in the heart of the charming harbor town of Boothbay was like being in a Hallmark movie! Our hosts were wonderful. Instantly answered any questions. We walked right out our door to shopping ,restaurants and lighthouse and wildlife boat excursion. We had a rental car to spend one of our days at Acadia National Park. The views were stunning.

Jul 2021Our first time in Boothbay Harbor and we so appreciated Patty and Mark's accessibility and high touch during our stay. The apartment is charming beyond our expectations. Size is mentioned in reviews but it was immaterial to us and our dog (15 lbs) as the apartment is decorated so well, laid out very efficiently and equipped so well that we never felt it was smaller. Boothbay is a lively town with lots to do and if you want more tranquil surroundings they are within a couple miles. We enjoyed walking the Land Trust Preserves around the town and visiting the stunning Botanical Garden nearby. The Thistle Inn for your special dinner before going home. East Boothbay is worth a trip to visit the General Store where you can get a good sandwich when you have eaten too much lobster. We will return !

We had a lovely time hiking each morning at the local Preserves and spending our days deciding what fantastic restaurant to eat in. The entire town is less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment. We enjoyed a harbor tour, and day trip to Camden including driving up to Mount Battie. We also did an oyster tour in Daramascotta (sp?) river and really enjoyed the outdoor restaurant there as well. Jul 2016I just loved this little apartment; I felt like I was a Boothbay resident for a week. Right away, I was uplifted by the coastal decor. It has all the amenities you need to include a shared washer and dryer downstairs. It's right 'downtown' Boothbay but amazingly is very quiet especially after 9pm. The owners live right across the street and are available to help if you need them. The entire Boothbay is within walking distance so once you get parked, you dont really need a car. I would stay there again!!! Just note that the max capacity is 4. 4 is cramped, so if you cant stand being in close quarters its not for you. But if you like cozy charming spaces, you will love it! A special thanks to the owners who accepted my reservation last minute. This spot was exactly what I need!
