Das Point BnB ist eine semi-selbständige Unterkunft im luxuriösen Apartment-Stil in der 2. Etage dieses preisgekrönten Hauses mit Blick auf Newlands Arm auf den herrlichen Gippsland Lakes in Paynesville, 3,5 Stunden östlich von Melbourne. Sehr ruhig und privat mit eigenem Eingang und sicheren Parkplatz.

Die Gäste haben ihren eigenen Eingang, der nach oben in ein geräumiges, gut ausgestattetes Wohnzimmer führt, in dem sich eine separate Küche befindet. Französisch Türen führen auf einen privaten Balkon mit Blick auf Newlands Arm. Unsere Sonnenuntergänge über dem Wasser sind spektakulär!
Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein komfortables Queensize-Bett mit hochwertiger Bettwäsche, eine Auswahl an Kissen und luxuriöse Bademäntel für Ihren Gebrauch. Das Badezimmer verfügt über eine geräumige Dusche, einen beheizten Handtuchhalter, einen Haartrockner und weitere notwendige Pflegeprodukte.
Das Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer haben Reverse Cycle Klimaanlagen und Deckenventilatoren, obwohl das Öffnen der Jalousie Fenster und Türen perfekt sind, um die Meeresbrise im Sommer durchzulassen.
Kostenloses Breitband-WLAN ist verfügbar. Das Wohnzimmer hat ein bequemes Sofa (das bei Bedarf in ein Queen-Size-Bett umgewandelt werden kann), Esstisch und Stühle. Wenn Sie nicht auf dem Balkon die schöne Aussicht genießen oder den Baby Q Weber Grill benutzen, können Sie sich zurücklehnen und entspannen und den LED LCD TV sehen oder eine DVD schauen.

Wenn Sie durch das Tor sind, fahren Sie 100 Meter zum Haus, vorbei an einer Kamelienhecke auf der einen Seite. Wenn es blüht, ist es einfach atemberaubend. Die Vögel sind hier immer beschäftigt, wir haben den Vorteil, Küsten- und Buscharten zu schätzen. Setzen Sie sich ruhig auf den Rasen und beobachten Sie die Parade.
Wenn Sie auf der Spur unter dem Haus gehen, das Sie nach Sunset Cove und in Paynesville (20 Minuten zu Fuß) bringt, werden Sie einige unserer lokalen Wildtier- und Bootsaktivitäten sehen. Es gibt einen geschützten Strand zum Spazieren gehen und direkt vor dem Haus ein Bad in sicheren Gewässern nehmen.

Thoughtful little touches like a small vase of flowers in the bedroom and bathroom items that we may have forgotten to take! The view is lovely and such a nice, easy walk to town along the water’s edge. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Graeme & Judy

Sep 2015We were delighted with our three night stay at the Point. The accommodation is immaculate and the furnishings and fittings of a very high standard. We loved the architectural design of the building, the original art work and the thoughtful way in which space has been used. The owners couldn't have been more helpful - suggesting local bike rides and restaurants in the Paynesville area.

Lovely views of the lake from our bedroom and living space. PS Thanks Judy for the freshly baked berry cupcakes for my wife's birthday, love the personal gesture. Will most definitely stay at your B&B again in the future.

The apartment is set in a quiet and secure location with off-street parking. There is ready access to a lovely walking path leading to the Paynesville village, where there are two great restaurants, Sardine and Arturo's. We will be back!

Mar 2015We found the apartment beautifully appointed and clean. Views from balcony to the water were wonderful and great to sit and enjoy. Easy walk to town centre. Breakfast provisions were ample and good selection. Judy and Graeme were perfect hosts. Would definetely recommend.

Jun 2015This was a fantastic place. The house itself is modern, clean, spacious and comfortable. The guest bedroom, bathroom and living room are in the front of the house, through the main house door but separate and private. And very comfortable! The hosts are lovely and extremely helpful. The view over the water is stunning, with beautiful sunsets and a great balcony for watching the colours come up. Overall, highly recommended - I'll stay here again next time.

But the truly impressive thing was how Judy worked so hard in ensuring our stay was simply wonderful having regard for the fire situation to the east and north. If anyone is thinking of going to Paynesville for a break.......don’t hesitate! The presence of visitors is welcome and important........

Jul 2017Thank you to Judy and Graeme for meticulously presented accommodation. Nothing has been forgotten in this gorgeously decorated BnB. My husband and I came up for 3 days and this was our first taste of Paynesville, thanks to your attention to detail and attentive but non intrusive service we will most definitely be back! We also loved that we could bring along our little dog Humphrey who was also made to feel very welcome.
This BnB is set in the perfect place with beautiful views and easy accessibility to the main town.

It is also clear that it is an 'any time of year' venue. Very handy for walks around Newlands Inlet and not far to Paynesville township. Full marks, Judy!

Nov 2022My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and can highly recommend this property. It is around 1km out of town set in lovely gardens overlooking the lake. Judy and Graham were very good hosts and the unit is self contained and very tastefully furnished. We were completely happy and enjoyed a lovely stay here.

Warm and inviting, and so welcoming of our little furkid, Molly - we had the loveliest stay at The Point - it’s so much more than 5 Stars - the bed is heavenly, the linen is superb - it is a wonderful spot to completely relax ! Highest of highly recommended.
