Terrakota Apartments

Great value, good host, very clean and a great deal overall

Rating it lower due to two things: 1. Parking: because there are 3 apartments being rented, along with the host family living next to the apartments, there is a nightly jigsaw puzzle of cars needing to parked this way and that way and this requires very specific parking (which the host mother will watch and direct you very carefully, kind of not the kind of experience you want when you are coming home from a day in the sun), and conversations about who is leaving first in the morning, so they don't get blocked in etc. Ugh. 2. Host placed a glass-framed photo right above the light switch. I go to hit the light switch in the dark and my hand hits the frame, it falls and crashes. Bad place for a glass frame. I was charged for this. That wasn't right.

Good price and good location and a nice host, the apartment has everything that you will need.

Fantastic place to stay and explore the island. Clean, friendly owners, really relaxed place, safe environment!

Kitchen is quite small but we never cooked to be honest (so many fine places to eat!)

Everything was ok. The host was friendly and gave a lot of tips on how to get in round on the island.

I was missing a microwave in the apartment.

Everything in the flat is adorable ! The owner Jose is a spectacular host! I enjoyed all the conversations when I’m not exploring the city, particularly showing me the area with his massive hand-painted map on wall of the property and showing me how to plant desert rose that surrounds his property. The flat itself is truly iconically Caribbean especially the colour pattern. Flat is immaculately clean, well appointed. I love the location away from the hussle and buzzle of the tourists to enjoy the local setting. The location provided me lots of chances to walk kilometres and kilometres to keep my daily cardio routine even when travelling! Plus, I love the organic Jamaican tea plant of Jose. It was a healthy beverage! I highly recommend Terrakota without hesitation!

Comfortable studio with basic amenities for a short stay. Beautiful and colorful design of the place. Fan was more than enough to cool the place down. There is AC for those that might needed. Calm and safe neighborhood with a very quiet street. Flexible and helpful owner.

The room is extremely dark with just 2 small windows. The location is not ideal without a car. Even that the owner provided information on how to get the local bus, they aren't reliable, we literally see zero busses while there. Internet connection is extremely slow most of the times. And we just did basic web navigation to search for long term stays. Download average between 10MB and 20 MB and upload under 10MB.
