Perfect location to explore downtown Asheville. Check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Highly recommend.

Space is clean, quiet, comfy and nicely decorated. Host is friendly. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Walk to restaurants and downtown Asheville. Easy access to interstate for day trips. We would definitely stay here again.

Me, my husband, and our infant daughter had a great stay here. We loved the location— close to downtown and next to 3 grocery stores. It had everything we needed for a great visit to Asheville with our daughter!

Our stay was very good. There were two of us, my daughter and I. It is as shown in photos, very clean, very well finished - but snug. You can tell a lot of investment was made to the space. Coffee maker provided, but no Keurig, I missed that. So if a priority, I guess keep in mind. Location is close to a Harris-Teeter (grocery) that was very nice, and only a block or so away. It's close to downtown, but we were not a fan of the hustle, crowds, parking, homeless present so did not venture far on foot ourselves. The owner lives onsite and was always available but nothing surfaced that we needed, but nice to know. It is a very quiet unit aside from the discharge plumbing pump as a result of being a below grade, lower level space. The on/off as the shower, sink, etc. is worth noting if with children, or light sleepers, etc. Included dishwasher but no form of washer/dryer. Missed that as well, but it is smaller space and suspect challenging with all discharge running through pump. Bed is very comfortable and conveniently folds up, though we left down throughout and had cot at end. Highly recommended, noting those items above. Owner very approachable and welcoming. We never used the outdoor deck area, but it looked nice and finished comparable to the rest of the property, i.e. upscale, modern, clean.

We loved our stay at this amazing rental! It was very clean and modern. Communication was great! Bed was comfortable. We were able to walk to restaurants in downtown and felt safe even at night. 5 Points Restaurant around the corner had a good breakfast. We ate there two days during our three night stay. We would definitely stay here again. Paul and Valerie were awesome hosts.

Had a great 3-night stay with our dog in this cozy, comfortable, clean, modern apartment in the heart of Asheville. In addition to the apartment itself, there is a huge roof deck with amazing 360-degree views of the entire Asheville region. Plus, there is also free off-street parking -- which is a huge deal in this neighborhood. Location is great. Just a short 3-5 minute walk to several supermarkets (Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, Trader Jones) and several great bars/restaurants (breakfast/brunch at Liberty Cafe was especially delicious). And only a 10-20 minute walk (or very short Uber-ride) to anything you could want to see/do in the heart of downtown. Hosts were great. They live above the apartment and were very helpful/friendly, but never in the way. They even had their daughter dog sit for us while we went to a show at the Orange Peel. Great stay overall and would definitely love to return next time we're in Asheville. Thanks Paul and family!

Everything you need and the perfect location. Everything was clean and brand new! Couldn’t recommend this spot enough if you want a weekend away!

The apartment was priced in the same range as several two bedroom condos in the area. I should have studied the listing more carefully. The pictures look like there is a din and bedroom but it is one small room in a sub basement. No window to the outside. Very tiny. No washer dryer or oven. Although the owner did not list as having one it just seemed like a logical assumption on my part. I would have moved to Embassy suites which was actually less expensive and would have had much more room and amenities but we found another option. My advice for anyone looking at this unit is read the description very carefully. We were signed up for 9 nights but left after 5 because we ran out of clothes and moved into a friends house. The deck attached to the main house was nice. The owner sent me a note when we moved in. Sent some towels when asked (once) but did not communicate with me until check out. I had sent him a note that I left 4 days earlier but he did not acknowledge it.

We were on a short trip to Asheville for college tours and this was an excellent spot that checked all the boxes. Great location in close proximity to downtown and the property was nicely decorated and prestinely clean. Would definitively come back again!

Location, location, location! Everything conveniently located within walking distance. The beautiful downtown is a short six minute drive. Paul is a wonderful and accommodating host. The home is clean, bed comfortable and we had everything we needed. We will definitely consider staying here again!

This was hands down the coolest overall property we have visited! The house and property were really neat. Stayed 3-nights... we should have asked for extra towels, that would have been great.

This is a great spot for a couple to spend a few days in Asheville. We enjoyed walking to the breweries and restaurants from the VRBO.

The murphy bed was quite comfortable. the unit is largely below ground - there is one window so you do get some daylight. We did need to supplement certain supplies - only one dishwasher detergent pod provided, two sets of towels for 8 days for 2 adults, no extra rolls of toilet paper. That said - due to its incredibly convenient location close to shopping - we picked up those things without first contacting hosts.

This place could not have been more comfortable or welcoming. It appears brand new, beautifully decorated, spotless and fresh. The Murphy bed (queen) is very comfortable. Off street parking is a plus. Plenty of amenities like shampoo, coffee filters, welcome chocolates. Host lives on the premises so is easy to contact. Location was great Quiet neighborhood. Groceries just a couple blocks away. Easy walk to the action downtown. We walked at all hours and felt safe. Don’t miss the five points restaurant on the corner for a great down home breakfast.

Property was as described. Owner was very communicative with excellent information including restaurant reservations. Clean, well-kept and convenient. Would have liked to spend time on the rooftop getaway but it was too cold! Owner made this easy for us.

We had a great time in Asheville! The basement apartment was a great spot for us--it was walkable to multiple grocery stores, a brewery, a coffeeshop, and a diner. Downtown is about a 20-minute, doable walk, so we switched off walking and driving. It's also only 15-20 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway--I suggest heading to the visitor's center and asking the rangers to help you find a few hikes during your stay! The apartment itself was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Great rooftop spot for watching the sunset. Paul communicated everything we needed to know, and the welcome binder had great suggestions for what to do around town.
