Apr 2022We can really recommend Cap Ouest. The staff was really friendly and the Resort Manager Hugo did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was really a pleasure to meet him! The cleaning staff did a really good job every day. The location of the hotel was really Great. It is a perfect place to start every kind of adventures (for example Casela Park and waterfalls are nerby or you can book a dolphin tour where they will pick you up by boat right in front of the resort). Even many restaurants are accessible on foot. Furthermore, the Apartment was very good equipped. Especially the Kitchen had everything and was above the expected average.
Manager Hugo always at hand to assist with queries.

The apartment is very clean with all the facilities The manager Hugo was very friendly and at this price it’s just worth it if you are with a family. The location is also really good. Not very noisy nor very quiete. The flic en flac public beach is at a walkable distance. Highly recommended

The fact that the geyser relies on the solar panel meant that we had cold showers for most days because there was no sun. That was a bit discouraging.
Recent property by the beach, swimming pool broken, horrible service and not clean.
Nov 2021The property is located in a complex with a guard 24/7 at the gate, by the ocean.
One of the swimming pools was out of order when we arrived, when we contacted the host they said it was being maintained for pH. When we left it still was out of order, obvisously the hosts didn't care.
There were ants in the kitchen, not coming from outside, and when we asked for help, they said it was normal in tropical countries; as a result, no food could be left in the cupboard, or even in the oven where they managed to find some. The floor & bathrooms were dirty when we got in (not cleaned for weeks)
The beds were not comfortable, Kitchen equipment was really a bare survival kit. Lights in the stairs were broken.
All in all, it looks like a place that is falling apart without much intervention. This is sold as a luxury apartment, but it's far from that, and really not good for families.

Jul 2022The propert was very clean and everything was good including the staff and 24 hour concierge service. The private beach within 1 minute walk was beautiful and a perfect location for a holiday in Mauritius.

Spacous clean apartment right on the beach
Dec 2021The location right on the white sand beach is unbeatable. You wake up in the morning to see the sun playing with the tips of the palms, and in the evening you see the sun setting over the Indian Ocean. The apartments are spacious and have all your daily needs. Parking is secured by 24 h security behind a gate operated by a guard. You are not being accosted every few minutes on the beach by people trying to sell various goods or "physical services". There are lots of great restaurant about 5 minutes by car, and a shopping mall is about 15 minutes away.
There were a lot of rules you had to sign for - don't do this, don't do that or we'll charge you. But then, maybe they had a lot of bad experiences, or it is like in Israel, which brims with rules that nobody follows.

May 2022Special thanks to Sabrina and Preety from the house keeping team for making sure that the apartment remained clean. The place was completely equipped right from the washing machine to dishwasher and ironing board and iron box. Complete set of crockery and cutleries and even a barbecue. Right on the beach with a great view of the Indian Ocean. The resort manager Hugo was very helpful and he introduced us to Santhosh who drives a taxi and we had a nice sight seeing trip with him.
something trivial but worth mentioning, would’ve been nice to have a simple French press for making coffee, there was a Nespresso machine but for coffee lovers it may not be sufficient. Another thing was the Wi-Fi reception. The living room and master bedroom had a very good reception but not in the other two bedrooms.

in one of the bedrooms was constant smell (odour) from the canalization system. so the door of the bathroom had to be closed all the time to stop the spreading of the smell

Dec 2021It was a nice surprise they had a barbecue and a picnic basket so we managed to prepare our own food and manage our schedule better. Also it was really well located in an isolated area but near the public beach and other activities so we felt more secure amid this covid pandemic. The staff was reliable and helped us every time we needed. Thank you. Hugo was very good and Lisa, the cleaning lady were very helpful.

Low water pressure in showers then we had no hot water. I messaged the host but had no reply, so we had like warm showers for the last 2 days.
