A beautiful home and great, convenient location. Perfect location. Walked outside to unbelievable views! Unit was very clean, beds comfy. The communication with the owner was top notch. Would definitely return again!

While planning our trip to Switzerland, one of my struggles was where to stay in the Berner Oberland region as a homebase for visiting the various places in the Alps. I found the perfect spot! Choosing Lauterbrunnen was the right decision, but selecting this apartment was even better. The apartment was the best accommodation we had the entire trip, and we stayed at some lovely places. First, the apartment is spacious, with plenty of room for couples and those with kids. It was impeccably clean - cleaner than any place I have stayed. We felt like we were in a brand new apartment. It was on the ground floor (no stairs!) of a very cute and quiet community just on the outskirts of the main street of town. We had a car which was very convenient for us, but if you don’t have a car the bus stop is right across the street from the apartment and the route takes you into town and to other locations, including the train station, in minutes. We used the bus a few times. The views from the apartment were just as lovely as being in the center of town, but even better because it was peaceful and quiet, and the town center was literally less than five minutes away by car or bus. Yet we could see the same scenery without being in the midst of all of the tourist crowds. From the back porch of the property we sat at the table and looked up at the beautiful alps, and there was a waterfall in plain view. Sitting on the porch in the evening was our favorite thing to do in the evening. It was also a place where we could take walks down to the river and through the valley on our own. Trummelbach Falls was two bus stops away, and we were able to get to our other excursions to Schilthorn and Junfraujoch with ease. The apartment had everything that we needed. We cooked our meals in the evening in the kitchen which was well appointed. We were also able to do our laundry at the apartment, which was extremely convenient. Check-in was very easy, and the communication was great, with lots of information provided on everything we could need provided in the notebook., along with some sweet treats. The furniture and the decor of the apartment was comfortable, clean and modern. Staying at this apartment made us feel at home and frankly was one of the highlights of our trip and the best decision we made. Thank you so much for our stay in the magical Lauterbrunnen Valley! I would return to this location/apartment again without hesitation; highly recommend!

A great place to stay if you only have a few days as you can travel to both sides of the mountain easily.

We absolutely loved this home. It was clean and had beautiful views- nice and quiet! I would recommend you stay here!

Harry’s place is roomy and the kitchen has everything you need. A real plus was having a washing machine and some detergent left for us. The property manager, Tina, did not come by but we figured everything out.

Second time that we have been to this property. Hopefully we’ll get the chance to come back soon. Thanks

From the beginning to the end of our short stay, this was very smooth process . The apartment is clean, spacious and has all the needs for your stay. Beautiful views from the patio, easy access to public transportation and clear communication from Harry the owner. Only wish we could stay longer and enjoy more time away from home. Definitely recommend to all.

Harry’s place was the perfect home for our family’s holiday in Lauterbrunnen. It is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to cook some meals at the chalet and we especially enjoyed eating dinners on the patio with breathtaking views. You can hear the waterfalls which were so peaceful as well. Harry is an excellent host and very responsive in answering our questions. The check in process was easy and we would book again in the future.
