Die Wohnung befindet sich ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß oder 2 Minuten mit dem Bus vom Hauptbahnhof in Lauterbrunnen. Von hier aus sind alle Bereiche der Jungfrau mit der Gondelbahn oder der Zahnradbahn oder mit dem Zug nach Interlaken zu erreichen, wenn Sie sich in die Ferne wagen. Alle Annehmlichkeiten des Dorfes (Restaurants, Geschäfte, Coop, Bank, Post und Tourismusbüro) sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.
DAS APARTMENT
Die Wohnung verfügt über zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer und bietet Platz für bis zu fünf Personen.
Im Hauptschlafzimmer gibt es ein Queensize-Doppelbett und im zweiten Schlafzimmer gibt es zwei Einzelbetten, von denen eines in ein Doppelbett umgewandelt werden kann, wenn ein zusätzlicher Schlafplatz benötigt wird.
Im Wohnbereich gibt es viel Platz zum Sitzen und Entspannen, entweder auf dem Sofa oder am Esstisch (der bei Nichtgebrauch weggeklappt werden kann, um zusätzlichen Platz zu schaffen). Alle erwarteten Annehmlichkeiten für zu Hause stehen den Gästen zur Verfügung, darunter ein Flachbild-3D-Smart-TV mit internationalen Kanälen, WLAN-, DVD- und CD-Player und eine Apple TV-Box.
Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit Besteck und Geschirr sowie Kochutensilien, Töpfen und Pfannen. Es gibt eine Mikrowelle, ein elektrisches Kochfeld, einen Geschirrspüler, einen Kühlschrank, einen Toaster und einen Wasserkocher.
Es gibt einen großen Balkon mit freiem Blick auf das Lauterbrunnental, einschließlich der örtlichen Kirche und dem Staubbach-Wasserfall.

Die 214 Pistenkilometer in der Jungfrauregion gehören zu den malerischsten der Welt und sind für Skifahrer und Boarder gleichermaßen geeignet. Für Anfänger gibt es lange blaue Pisten zur Lauberhorn-Weltcup-Abfahrt und für Abenteuerlustige abseits der Pisten.
In Lauterbrunnen selbst ist kein Skifahren möglich, bei schönem Wetter ist es jedoch möglich, von der Seite des Mürren Schilthorns nach Lauterbrunnen hinunterzufahren.
Von der Wohnung aus erreichen Sie mit dem Bus in wenigen Minuten sowohl die Gondelbahn als auch den Hauptbahnhof, von wo aus Sie in die Skigebiete Mürren Schilthorn und Wengen-Kleine Scheidegg gelangen. Grindelwald liegt etwas weiter entfernt und ist mit der Bahn entweder direkt von Lauterbrunnen aus oder mit einer kombinierten Schi- und Zugabfahrt von der Wengenseite des Berges aus zu erreichen.

May 2023Location was perfect to walk to town center, train station and cable cars. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the waterfalls and the mountains. The view was breathtaking. Most of our meals were cooked at the apartment. Addition convenience was the use of a washer/dryer with the apartment. Thank you so much.

Aug 2021We had the bad surprise upon arrival that works were in progress in a neighboring apartment. The noise was deafening. I appreciated the reaction of the proprietary and his contact in Lauterbrunnen. Despite having no responsibility in the situation they really cared and made their best. The situation was solved and we had a great stay.
It is good to know that in case of problem, the proprietary will react.

Mar 2020The apartment has all you need, is located well, has a stunning view and is a great place to stay in winter (as well as in summer I imagine) near ski busses. Has it's own parking space. The owner is very kind and responsive.

Aug 2019I was delighted to find this lovely apartment well positioned in Lauterbrunnen and ideally placed for a week exploring the Bernese Oberland. It is spacious, clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, a good sized bath, powerful over bath shower and a large sleep inducing bed; although that could also have been due to the fresh air and exercise! We stayed with our two adult children and it worked very well for us. The only thing I wish we had taken were larger towels as the ones supplied are smaller than we like.
Communication with James the owner was prompt, efficient, friendly and helpful. The apartment is easy to reach from the station, we used the bus on arrival with our luggage but walked thereafter as it is only a few minutes away. There are a variety of restaurants and shops close by and we also enjoyed a game of mini golf almost next door on a day too cloudy to see the mountains.
Overall I thoroughly recommend this apartment and a holiday in such a stunning area

Jun 2019Clean apartment with a wonderful view. We spent many hours sitting on the porch enjoying the beautiful waterfall right in front of us. Great space to relax after long days of hiking. The kitchen was more than adequate and the rooms were very clean. James was very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend this apartment.

The bus stop is close and the bus schedule and trains are well aligned so it is very convenient. The owner, although not local, is accessible by email and very attentive. Highly recommend the property.

Jun 2018The apartment is cosy and well equipped for a holiday stay. It has a delightful balcony where you can sit in the afternoon sun and admire the views of snowy mountain peaks, and right in front of you are the famous Staubach falls. You are directly on the beautiful walk down the valley to Stechelberg passing by the terrifying, not to be missed, Trummelbach falls. The village is small so cafes, restaurants, etc are in easy walking distance. The train station is a 15min walk where you can take a train to Kleine Scheidegg and its many stunning walks or all the way to the top of the Jungfrau. A short bus ride to Stechelberg takes you to the gondolas up to the top of Schilthorn and the gondola to Mürren is opposite the train station. Everything is so much more compact, convenient, and quieter compared to Grindelwald. We thoroughly recommend it.

May 2018It is a wonderful apartment overlooking a meadow, a brook is running by, and you see the snow covered mountains from the valley of Lauterbrunnen. We struggled with whether we should stay in Lauterbrunnen, Murren or Wengen. We are delighted we stayed in Lauterbrunnen. It is at the center of everything by train or cable car. It is a smaller town than Murren or Wengen but the shops there were very boring to us compared to the extraordinary scenery which is all we were interested in. We took the cable car to Gutschalp and then hiked to Winteregg. The scenery was just stunning. We then picked up a little yellow train to Murren. The hike from Winteregg to Murren is less beautiful as it folllows train tracks. We also hiked down from Winteregg to Gutschalp. The restaurant at Winteregg has good sandwiches. We also went to Wengen. We also took the train to Kleine Scheddig on the way to Jungfraujoch.
The apartment is well equipped and lovely. It has everything you might need. It is quiet. It is next to a bus stop which takes only a few minutes to get into town or the train station. The walk to town involves climbing a small hill. There are a number of good restaurants in town particularly the Hotel Oberland. Also as suggested on a Trip Advisor the restaurant at the campground is terrific.
Without a car you end up walking a lot, so you need to think about that if you come by train.
Since we had never been in Switzerland before, I had a a lot of questions in planning our week there. I emailed the owner a lot and he was wonderful and very helpful in answering all of my questions. We stayed in Lauterbrunnen for one week at the end of May 2018.

Apr 2018A roomy apartment in the very beautiful town of Lauterbrunnen. Two good size bedrooms, comfortable living area and outdoor deck. The kitchen has all you need to cook in house. Lauterbrunnen is the best location in this area. Has easy access to all of the major tourist attractions and has a local bus system that works well. Highly recommended.

Oct 2017The apartment was a wonderful base for outdoor activities in the area. Comfortable and well maintained with an incredible waterfall view from the balcony! After a very full day of outdoor fun, the balcony is the perfect place to relax with a warm cup of tea or soup. The valley, mountain and waterfall views are straight out of a fairy tale! There are many hiking trails and the Lauterbrunnen area is perfect for those of us escaping "the big city".
The owner, James, was very responsive and always on top of things.
We hope to return someday and would absolutely recommend the apartment!

Sep 2017This is a great place to stay in Lauderbrunnen. Easy walk to train station grocery store, and shops. Beautiful views from balcony. Mr Graham is a very helpful host and will help you with any problem you might have. We would stay there again.

Sep 2017Excellent location to base your Switzerland vacation. Easy access to the stunning mountains, & busy urban destinations. James was always very responsive to our needs and made excellent recommendations. The unit was comfortable for our party of 4. The living room had a very comfortable sectional, and the outside space was outfitted with plenty of comfortable seating for our party. The kitchen was fully stocked with the essential cooking wares. The master bedroom had ample storage. We would definitely recommend this condo!

Sep 2017We really enjoyed our stay - the balcony was our favorite place with magnificent views of the waterfall. But actually the whole apartment felt very spacious and well-stocked. It was well situated, about a 10 minute walk uphill to the train station (we had a double stroller so couldn't take the short cut). Modern, clean, cheerful decor, welcoming feel. I would advise any Americans to read the welcome pack carefully - in particular the 'trash' section as Swiss take their recycling very seriously as we discovered too far along in our stay! (Having to undo trash bags and pull everything out afterwards is not so easy).

Aug 2017We enjoyed our stay in this apartment which I felt was in a perfect location to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We were able to walk to town, the lifts to start our hikes as well as the falls. We also rented a car so were able to make a few trips to other towns and the beautiful lakes nearby. The train station is within walking distance from the apartment which is also a good option if no car.
The area views, both in the valley, the mountains and the lakes are just spectacular -- we've traveled quite a bit and haven't experienced such beauty. The apartment itself also has wonderful views of the valley and town -- we especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching and listening to the falls every night. The apartment was spacious and worked out perfectly for our family of four. It had everything you needed and was very comfortable.
The owner was also very attentive and accommodating providing us with lots of information before we arrived.

Dec 2016We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby). We spent 4 nights over Christmas at this place. It was cozy and comfortable with fantastic views. The location was great and it was very easy to get to Wengen and Murren with a quick walk to the train station. We enjoyed the fireplace every evening and the bathtub was great for cold nights as well. The place is good for small children. James provided a Pack n Play and a high chair at a cost of 20 CHF each. The games room in the basement would be good for older kids. We especially loved the private washer/dryer as we had several loads to do throughout our stay. James responded to emails very quickly. Highly recommend!

Aug 2016We already knew the area so we knew from the apartment description that the location would be fabulous, and the apartment more than lived up to our expectations!
The apartment is spacious, clean, modern and very well equipped. The games room and washer/dryer area were real bonuses.
Fabulous views from the roomy balcony.
James was extremely helpful with information and advice both before and during our stay.
We had a great holiday and we can't wait to go back!

Jun 2016My friends and I stayed in Lauterbrunnen for 4 nights at the Graham's Ey Hus Apartment and it was an amazing experience. Not only are the views absolutely stunning as soon as you get off of the train station, but they are incredibly beautiful from just looking outside the apartment window. There is a beautiful view of the Staubbach views with no other buildings in the way and a gorgeous view of the rest of the valley.
The apartment was incredibly clean and well kept when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, with both rooms having spectacular views. The living room was bigger than I expected with a fire place to keep you warm and Apple TV for your convenience. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were clear instructions and advice in a neat packet when we arrived. There were all the necessary essentials (hairdryer, washer, dryer, etc.) as weel.
I messaged James Graham numerous times before our trip with questions about the apartment and suggestions about our trip and he was more than accommodating and happy to help. I was highly impressed and very satisfied with my stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Not only is the apartment great, but Lauterbrunnen is like paradise. I do not think any other place can even come close to the views I saw there. It was absolutely breathtaking.
I will definitely be returning when I get a chance!
