Our condo was the perfect size for a family of 3. The bed was especially comfortable, which is always a plus. I was impressed with the small, but updated kitchen. The sparkling pool was conveniently located right outside our door; however, it went from 4 1/2 ft to 8 1/2 ft deep, which is not kid-friendly. The denim couch and matching bar stools need to be updated. I did not feel comfortable sitting on them. Overall, the property was really nice; we will definitely visit again. Weiterlesen

We stayed 3 nights and couldn’t have loved this unit more! We will stay in this one or this association everytime we come to Destin. It was very clean an had everything you could need. Very nice! We were relocated to this unit due to a plumbing issue. The condo was dated, but the decor was cute and beachy. We loved that the unit over looked the canal and the golf course. This rental was disappointing. There are 2 problems: 1. No washer/dryer when it is advertised that there is in the unit. Furthermore, there is a sign hanging on door that the owner is waiting until off season to replace. But I was not notified in advance that I would not be able to wash clothes/towels. I specifically book condos with this amenity because I like to wash/dry towels for the beach the next day. 2. The air conditioner would not go below 69 degrees. I prefer to have the room cooler at night and honestly I don’t think it got to 69 at any point. It felt hotter in this condo. <br/>I had also booked this same condo for the last week in September but changed my stay to another condo while there this weekend. I feel like it is fraud when you are not told that what you are renting is not the same as what you are told you will be getting. Very disappointing stay at Sandpiper this time. Weiterlesen

The only issue i had was the TV in master bedroom did not work. Maintenance came out to look at TV and said it was to old that he had came out before to check TV. so we were out TV the weekend. They did give us refund of $50.00. I was upset because i had booked room 3 months in advance so everything should of been working in the room before i got there. Weiterlesen

Overall things were fine, the condo is in a great spot, needs a bit of updating mostly in the bathroom. Also it felt like maybe the bathroom is designed for someone in a wheelchair? Which I'm sure would be great for someone who IS, or a really short person. Not so much a complaint as an observation. The vanity, toilet & tub are all set unusually low. A very tall person would be uncomfortable washing their hands and such. The complaint about the bathroom - the shower head/pressure left plenty to be desired, tub didn't drain well despite the low volume. Other "eh" about the place, the mattress is on the firm side for my taste. Again, a positive for those who like that, just that I didn't. I'd probably replace the pillows and bedding as well, for better function AND fashion. We really did enjoy our stay, brought our boat so proximity to the dock was nice too. All in all a decent place, but like I said in the title, I personally would choose a different condo next time but we'll definitely stay at SandPiper again. Weiterlesen

The location of the property was great, it over looked the canal and the golf course. The condo was dated, but decor was cute. It would've been nice to have the washer/dryer working, but at least they had some on the property. Overall, the place was somewhat clean, but the rugs were not washed and the floor was not as clean. I love the amenities at Sandpiper Cove and the private beach was awesome! I like that the condo was close enough to the stores and the Harbor. I would definitely stay here again. Weiterlesen

We chose Sandpiper Cove due to bringing our boat and needing dock space. Great location for boating and fishing. Resort was nice and well maintained. Check in staff were not very helpful and I had to go back to ask for a map of the resort- did not go over anything about the condo or what was supplied. Wasn't until our last day we realized that extra dishwasher soap, TP and clean linens were provided if we went to the housekeeping window. Condo itself was ok. Close to our boat. Wear and tear on the furniture was noticeable, several light bulbs were out, not much lighting and awkward dining area. Disappointed in the overall cleanliness- hair on the floor and tub, floors were dirty - feet were filthy after walking barefoot. Providing some cleaning supplies and basic essentials would have been nice. Not many restaurants in walking distance. Weiterlesen

A light in the bathroom needed replacing and a dining room chair cover had a broken zipper. These were all reported to the management company immediately. We have been staying in Sandpiper cove for over 7 years, but this was our first experience renting this condo. When we arrived, it looked clean, but we noticed all of our feet were black within minutes of having our shoes off. We alerted the complex and they did send someone to clean it while we were there as well as give us a dust pan (although they claimed we must not be able to find it- the cleaning lady didn't find it either). Even after it was cleaned, the floors made our feet black. There must be tons of layers of dirt on these floors. Beyond that, there were necessities missing in the kitchen and the complex needs some upgrades/fixes. Lightbulbs out, furniture is rather cheap. We love this location and will continue to stay in Sandpiper cove, but not at this condo. We may prefer to do owners renting in the future after this experience.<br/><br/>Communication is definitely not their strong suite so make sure you ask all the questions to ensure everything is booked correctly<br/><br/> Weiterlesen
