Apr 2019We would like to thank the owners for allowing us to stay at their fabulous place. We love Grand Cayman and can’t wait to come back. Beautiful condo with all the comforts of home. Fantastic view of the Bioluminescent Bay. The Kayaking at night was a big hit with the kids, and the bike rides to Kaibo for coffee in the morning was just great.

May 2019We loved staying in the Rum Point area because it was the more quiet area of the island AND it still had all of the amenities: close to restaurants and good coffee shop, pool, nice bay area, walk to the beach. We were so thankful for the kayaks, bikes, snorkel gear, and paddleboards that came with the unit as this helped save us money so we didn't have to rent it. For this location I would highly suggest a rental vehicle so you can drive to all of the great offshore snorkel spots that are located about 30 to 45 minutes away. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future! Highly recommend!

Oct 2019We loved everything about our stay here. The location right on the bay was perfect and we really enjoyed having the kayaks to use while we were there. It was also nice being right next to the pool but still with a great view of the bay. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

May 2019We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Summer Breeze Island House over Spring Break. The house was perfect for my two teenagers, my husband, and me. Having two queen beds in one room and a king in the other was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location couldn't have been better - being within walking distance to Rum Point was perfect - we also enjoyed Starfish Point and Kaibo.

Mar 2019This place is wonderful, quiet and peaceful. It’s very clean and plenty of room for everyone. I most enjoyed sitting mornings outside on the back porch with coffee and in the evenings to end the day. We drove to seven mile beach a a couple of days so it was nice to have a rental car. We got groceries and ate most of our meals at the house, Everything you will need is there already. I highly recommend this condo and it’s location at rum point.

Jan 2020The townhouse was great! Perfect size for our family of 4. Plenty of space indoors and out with all of the amenities we needed at the condo. Beautiful views of the bay and walking distance to Rum Point club. We love this side of the island. Laid back still with plenty to do. Property managers were great! Friendly and responsive.

We LOVED being at Rum Point, being on the bioluminescent bay, close to Kaibo and Starfish Point and the pool was right outside our door! The availability of the kayaks was awesome and we used them quite a bit during the day and at night. The property and surrounding area is GREAT, the condo unit itself isn’t “new and super updated” but it wasn’t advertised as so and it was super functional & had all that we needed!!!
A few recommendations: grocery shop at Foster’s and Cost-U-Less, go to Stingray City and snorkel with of Peace of Cayman & Captain Eduardo and Crew (1(345) 323-6069), fishing trip with Reel Esea and Captain Ebanks and crew, rent a car and drive the whole island. Favorite restaurants...On the Northside eat on the beach at Kaibo Yacht Club and in town Sunshine Grille is OUTSTANDING!!! Also in town, Seven Mile Burger was EXCELLENT!!!

Jan 2019The property is starting to look quite worn. Furniture and beds are lumpy but usable. Kitchen is disorganized and all plates, cups etc are mismatched and overflowing. They can really cut down on all the extra stuff to make it more user friendly. They don't need all the extra coffee cups, plates etc. Bathrooms sinks that are raised drop sinks are very difficult to work around. If you are trying to apply make up forget the counter space. Bikes are dusty and some difficult to ride - they need cleaning and oiling. Patio is lovely and it's wonderful to have the screens since the bugs are viscous at dusk.
LOCATION - if you like to kayak each evening or during the day and want to be near Star Fish Point this is a great place to be. It is also quite close to the Caves - which is worth a visit. But if you wish to do other things it will be about 35 to 45 minutes to get to it. So we spent a lot of time in the car.

Aug 2019The location is on a nice cove and provided easy access to Rum Point. The condo is next to the pool if you want to take a quick swim or just hang out. We enjoyed the large screened porch and having access to kayaks and bikes (kayak seats needed repair). The cove is very convenient for kayaking and easy to paddle around in. The availability of a few life vests would be nice for longer kayak trips or evening kayaking. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cooking utensils and appliances. The charcoal grill made cooking easy. We appreciated having beach towels in the condo for use during our stay.

Nov 2018The condo is well equipped!! It’s located right next to the pool and the view is awesome! Our favorite part was the kayaks after dark and the illuminesence! Had a wonderful week!!

Beach suburb @ Rum Point although cruise passengers made it less comfortable - just make sure you get to the beach before 10 AM and you will be fine for space.
Not so many places to eat locally. We went to the Rum Point Club once, Kaibo Twice - Very good and Over the edge once, also very good.
Be sure to take the ferry form Kaibo to Camana Bay, a bit commercial but worth it just for the boat ride.
Also, if you have a hire car take a trip round the other end of the island which is unspoilt, saw many Large Iguanas and the beach chairs at the Wyndham resort are free.
The beaches @ East end are deserted ( Exept the Chickens!!) and beautiful,.
Hope to be able to return one day.

Dec 2019My family of 5 stayed at Summer Breeze #12 this past week (kids are 22, 9 and 6) and had a wonderful time. The pictures are entirely accurate for the unit, clean and updated, spacious with all you'll need for a wonderful stay. The pool is never crowded and the ocean is just across the street at Rum Point. Startfish point is less than a mile away so you can avoid an excursion cost and drive/walk there yourselves for free. Stingrays often swim around there so you can do that for free too :) Property Managers are quick to reply when needed and so very friendly. Kayaks are a bonus, however need some work as they take on water. We were only given 2 life jackets so were unable to venture out in the kayaks as a family which was a bummer but we certainly had no shortage of options for fun and to fill the time. We loved this property and hope to be back in the future! Thank you so much.

May 2019An absolutely beautiful week. Condo is great for families and well equipped with all needs. Location can’t be beat in all of GC in my opinion. Prices at Rum Point bars/restaurants are high, but we knew this going in. The only issue was with one of the cayaks having a leak, and another being only a 1-person. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
