Jun 2021The property manager supplies timely and clear instructions for access to the unit and parking. The unit itself was very clean and true to the photos on the website. The location is very convenient, being on the ground floor and a hop, skip, and jump from the lovely pool. The underground parking and elevator makes bringing in your luggage and groceries very easy. A beautiful condo with a beautiful view right in the heart of Ludington. Every necessity was available in this clean, updated and spacious condo. We have three small children and there was so much to do within a couple of blocks. The pool area was beautiful and clean. There is a huge waterfront park a 100 yards away, an impressive children's museum at a 5 minute walk and you can't miss House of Flavors one block away! We have stayed in this building before and always enjoy the very well kept common area, pool, patio tables, grills, and clubhouse bathroom. The underground parking is a HUGE bonus, especially after a day at the beach and you just want to ride the elevator back up to the room for a shower! <br/><br/>With this particular unit, we were disappointed with the view. The only "marina view" is from the balcony and a limited view from the living room. From the bedrooms and the majority of the balcony/living room, you are looking out over the gas station and vacant parking lot. Boo!<br/><br/>The condition of the unit is good. The kitchen has no storage for your own items so we used laundry baskets in the hall closet. Wish there were some pantry shelves or something for us to use as we cooked almost every meal and had lots of groceries. <br/><br/>The bunk bed room is a huge hit with the kids; although at night there is little to no air circulation. A fan or something would help as the a/c didn't really get in that room.<br/><br/>The living room furniture makes me sad. This unit could certainly use an update here.<br/><br/>There were a few of us who got really congested in the mornings after a night's sleep. On our last day, we found a cat toy and the 3 who didn't feel well are allergic to cats. I'm guessing there is cat dander in the carpet. The carpet could use a refresh and there is carpet in the dining room which was not great for babies/toddlers.<br/><br/>We had a maintenance issue and it was resolved immediately. <br/><br/>The location of this building can't be beat. You can walk to restaurants, beach, waterfront park...etc. <br/><br/>Although I am a critic, I continue to return as this is the best option in Ludington. Can't beat the weather, beach, parks, and a pool at One Ludington Place. Weiterlesen

This condo was perfect for our annual stay in Ludington! We had to make a change in date and location so were not sure what to expect. The layout and location was ideal with plenty of space. Even has two walk out patios. The condo was clean and nicely decorated along with a kitchen that was fully stocked to use for our meals on the patio. We could hit House of Flavors, Badger, park, walk, beach, downtown, kids museum and more all from this spot. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids. Enjoy your stay. Weiterlesen

I stayed at this marina-side condo on a spur-of-the-moment trip. The location is perfect--walking distance to several good restaurants, downtown shopping, and the beach. The property manager was very easy to work with and helped with a ptoblem with the fireplace. I particulary liked the parking garage for convenience and weather protection. Very good. Unit needs updating. Could use some white pain instead of dark colors, and remove dark carpeting and replace with laminate floors. That would add more light. Very dark in dining area. What they call a third bedroom is not a bedroom. No window or closet. Very dark room with bunk beds. But serves the purpose. Enjoyed the balcony. This is a lovely condo, recently remodeled, nice color scheme, updated kitchen, plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. The space was used well and we appreciated the exceptionally large balcony. We have one suggestion which is to have a vacuum cleaner in this fully carpeted condo. We had some unresolved cleanliness issues in the condo mainly carpet that was not vacuumed, bathtub ring, and a closet door that was broken and we were unable to close it. The overall property is well kept up, nice pool. You can't beat the convenience of walking to the marina, park (great playground for kids), city beach, and town. A nice condo, located within easy walking distance of both the Ludington beach and downtown Ludington. The view west past the marina lets you enjoy the sunsets easily. The fireplace in the living room is a bonus on those cool fall evenings. The fireplace wasn't working when I arrived, but a call to Nikki resulted in a prompt call from the maintenance guy and he walked me through the process of lighting the pilot light.<br/> Weiterlesen

Sep 2021I would have given 5 stars but the construction was brutal. The location was awesome, great view, appropriately stocked with plates and glasses. Clean and the rooms was nicely sized. The main issue was the construction, they would sometimes start before 8am and end well after 5pm. Couldn't have the windows or doors open because of the noise and lack of screens/screen doors. I would not have booked if I had known about the construction prior to booking, we found out a few days prior to check in, well past the point of being able to make alternative plans. If not for the inconvenience of the construction (parking, noise, blocking exit to garage, etc.) it definitely would have been 5 stars. Weiterlesen

Aug 2021Excellent location in a great resort town. Currently undergoing renovation, which was discussed prior to rental. Some unexpected difficulties occurred during our week in that the garage entrance door was not working and everyone had to enter and exit through the exit door. On our last night, a lightening storm knocked out the remaining garage door, the elevators, and flooded the garage. We were advised to move out cars out once resident volunteers were able to manually open the garage exit door. Due to a local boat and RV show in the street adjacent to the west side of our building, this street was blocked from parking. This required all of us departing that day to carry our belongings down to the ground level and across the pool deck to the east side of the building where our cars were parked. Nature cannot always be anticipated, but I think a well thought out evacuation plan might have improved this process of leaving the building. Similarly, the wisdom of blocking the adjacent streets for a boat and RV show by the city needs reconsideration. I wondered how if a fire had occurred on that side of the building, the fire department would have been able to move all those RV’s and boats out of the way.
Our unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. There are signs of wear and tear especially with the bathroom counters. The kitchen faucet is not attached firmly to the counter. There was also a strange odor in the hall closet that we were unable to figure out.
We have stayed in this building a number of times. This particular unit just seems to need some normal upgrading due to frequent use. Weiterlesen
