Oct 2018We were visiting Boston for work/pleasure and the apartment was exactly what we needed. It was very clean and well appointed. It is a comfortable retreat at the end of the day. Our host Mehmet was great. I forgot a charger for my computer and he was able to lend me one. The location of the apartment was in Watertown and it was short bus ride, to Harvard Square which is a commuter hub, with the buses and trains which allowed us to get around the Boston and the surrounding area very easily. I would recommend getting a Charlie Card if you are intending to use the buses and trains, a real value. There are great restaurants close by and we would recommend the Red Lentil a vegan restaurant.
We will be recommending this apartment to our family and friends who are thinking of visiting Boston. Weiterlesen

Aug 2019We traveled to Boston to help my nephew move into Harvard, and check out some colleges in the area for my you get niece. It was four of us and we loved our stay here.
Mehmet and Talin were readily available and invested in making of our stay a joyful experience.
We cooked breakfast a couple of days, as well as some meals. They have cooking oil, salt, coffee, utensils, cleaning agents, etc. The kitchen has a refrigerator and a two-burner stove.
We also enjoyed lazy evenings watching some Netflix on the smart TV.
Overall, a very nice, comfortable, well-equipped, and private apartment. We would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it.

Oct 2019This may be the cleanest VRBO we've ever rented. It's small, but it fit our needs for the three days we stayed. We were able to make breakfast with utensils provided. The bathroom fan kept the shower from steaming up the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. There is a steep half-flight of stairs down to the apartment, if stairs are a problem for you (they aren't for us). The location was perfect for our purposes, a short drive to our daughter's place, and walkable to many restaurants. Best were the fresh flowers that greeted us upon arrival. Weiterlesen

Jul 2021This is a beautiful spot with several amenities making the stay that much more comfortable. The hosts are incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. Transportation to the city is convenient and readily available. The surrounding area offers great ethnic markets and restaurants that added to the experience. Oct 2019This apartment was in Watertown which is a suburb of Boston. It was only about 12 miles from downtown Boston. The owner of the property was great. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The property was in a great neighborhood. We found some great restaurants within walking distance. All of our needs were taken care of. Jun 2018The basement apartment is quite charming and spacious enough for two people to enjoy comfortably. Fine for 3 or 4 if just for sleeping. Tall people beware, as noted in the description. Very well-appointed kitchen with all of the tools needed to cook, if desired.
The only drawback, and a hilarious one, is that nobody on the premises really knows how to work the very high-tech television which operates via voice command. So, if you don’t mind hollering “volume down” every few minutes, the tv is fine.
Unit is about 10 minutes (driving) from Boston, not far from Boston College. The area is very quiet and you will be hard pressed to find dining options after 10pm.
Mehmet was very accommodating. I would definitely return.

Aug 2019My family of three enjoyed our vacation stay at this basement property. It is nice to have a kitchen when you are traveling with a child. The owners live onsite which is very helpful when you have a question about traveling around the area, and Mehmet was extremely helpful with any questions we had. We rented a car to travel outside the area, but when we went into Boston we took the public transportation, which is really easy to do from this property. The bus stop is just down the street which will take you to the main hub to get around Boston. (It is nice not to deal with parking in the city.) May 2021My daughter and I stayed at Mehmet's VRBO while visiting a friend in Boston. The property is located in a walkable neighborhood filled with great restaurants. It's immaculate, inviting, and the perfect place to recharge before striking out for the day to explore the Boston area. There is a great patio on the drive to drink coffee in the morning, eat carryouts at the end of the day, or have a drink. It is close to the airport, Boston, and all of the excellent colleges in the area. We would definately stay there again!

Jul 2019My best friend and I traveled up to Boston from New Jersey to watch our beloved club Liverpool FC play a preseason friendly game against Sevilla we were just looking for a place to stay for two nights and we were looking for somewhere close to the stadium (Fenway Park) almost everywhere we could find had already been booked and if not the rooms were super expensive. We got very lucky to find this little place to stay at a very reasonable rate. The apartment was completely spotless the renters were extremely responsive to all of our needs. And I would highly recommended it to anyway especially if your going to Fenway for any type of event or the Boston house of blues as well. It's a short trip. My friend is planning another trip to Boston with his wife and daughter and hes already told me he will be staying here again when he visits with his family. And if Liverpool plays at Fenway again I'll be back there to. Weiterlesen

May 2019I stayed here with my wife and 5 year old kid. It was very comfortable stay...the house was very neat and clean and fully equipped kitchen really helped us to cook food for us and kid. Owner was always available and quick to respond on all the help and info that we needed.
The house is just 2 mins away from bus station, 4 mins from Arax super market when u can get fruits, veggies, bread, milk m, yoghurt and all snacks and groceries.
And 7Eleven is further 3 mins ahead.
