Jun 2023Great place and location. Rooms too bright in the mornings waking you up early. Skylights would benefit from window treatments and the windows need treatments to block the light.
Some of the area rugs are stained so need cleaning or replacing. Other than that, the place is perfect.

Jun 2023The condo unit is located in a great spot, not just because of its incredible view of the harbor area, but also because it is centrally located in the Old Port neighborhood. It is close to many highly rated restaurants and to all the shopping on
Fore and Commercial Streets. The unit is comfortable and generally well equipped. The only minor negative is that the hardwood floor and some of the furniture are starting to show some wear and tear. I'm sure that Scott and Karen will stay on top of that.

May 2023This place was perfect for us. Right in the heart of it all (we didn't even rent a car!), two master suites, great kitchen and living area and outdoor space. We loved it!
The owners were very responsive to text messages, and everything worked as described.
It was a great place to call home for a week and a great trip.

May 2023Cleanliness: Everything was spotless... from the bed linens, to the kitchen appliances, to the bathrooms, to the dishes. And we're the kind of people who normally re-wash all the dishes after arriving, just because... here, no need.
Location: Really couldn't be better. Down the pier from Lukes. 3 minute walk to Scales. Also about 3 minutes to Ri Ra. Coastal Creamery is just downstairs (we had ice cream almost every day). Gorgeous views of the working waterfront... the water... the seagulls... the boats of all descriptions coming and going... (and also a BIT noisy during the day when we were there, as they were doing some pile driving in DiMilllo's parking lot... but hey... it's a WORKING waterfront, right?).
Super comfy condo, nicely equipped. Showers worked nicely, plenty of hot water, kitchen appliances (drip coffee maker, toaster, Wolf gas cook top, and Bosch microwave and convection oven) all worked fine. One minor annoyance was that the main fridge wasn't working (the FREEZER section was, though)... so they provided a mini-fridge (and we used the wine cooler as a fridge, which could hit mid 30's). Enjoyed the 3 smart TVs (one in each bedroom and a bigger one in the living room) for watching Netflix and keeping up on the Red Sox.
We'd absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Definitely recommended. Note: Managed (and owned, I believe) by a professional company. Communications were all clear, SUPER timely, and excellent. Easy to deal with.

Mar 2023Incredible floor to ceiling view of Portland's working waterfront. Comfy seating to watch ferries, tankers, lobster boats come & go. Beautiful high-end, very clean condo with a few quirks: Bathrooms inside bedrooms have no doors/walls, elevator noise permeates the apartment, and reclining sofas and chair don't have cord section with plugs so they don't recline. Plus, our fridge wasn't working so we were given only a dorm-size fridge for the week (@ $700/night?) 🙁

Dec 2022Very cozy spot! Well appointed. The views were amazing of the port. It snowed to the night we got in so the fire place was a nice touch while watching the snow falling through the many windows.

Dec 2022We stayed here 5-6 times and every time is wonderful. Condo has great views of the port and is enjoyable even in the winter. Great place to relax and location is perfect to many great restaurants. Will continue to go back here. Scott is always available and helpful although we never had any problems during our stays here.

Nov 2022Location, location, location... This was the perfect spot for beautiful sunrises and everything we wanted to see in Portland was within walking distance. So many great places for foodies... Plan ahead if you can for reservations. Having the parking worked out wonderful we only needed a car when we wanted to take a short drive to see the lighthouses in the ocean.
We miss the two comfortable chairs with a beautiful view of the pier!

Oct 2022We returned to this condo where we stayed 4 years ago. It remains in great shape. The view is unbeatable! Both bedrooms have king size beds though one is smaller than the other. 2.5 baths are nice.

Oct 2022Perfection in cool design, amazing views, and fabulous location. Very clean. The only problem was that I did not know the key was needed to leave the parking lot, though you are supposed to leave it in the apartment. The woman there to clean the apartment was waiting for me to leave the parking lot and use the key to let us out, but we had no idea she was there or that we needed the key. So, we took a few minutes to get ourselves organized, having no idea she was waiting on us.

Oct 2022Great place to stay in downtown Portland. Everything was as advertised. We stayed here overnight after picking up some visiting family from the airport. Nice views and comfortable bedrooms. Many nearby restaurants and waterfront attractions.
Only one thing I would mention: We were here on a Saturday night and there was some late night partying at some of the nearby bars and restaurants (but not in the building where this unit is located). So take that into account if you need to go to bed early on a weekend, at least in the warmer months.

Oct 2022Our visit with past business partners was 3 years in the making due to covid. Owner was extremely understanding. The condo met and exceeded all of our expectations. The View was remarkable and the location to restaurants and points of interest and walking distance were plentiful. Our stay was a week and we did not have a walk over 10 minutes to points of interest and restaurants all week. Although the venue is pricey it does deliver on location view and comfort. I would not or we would not think twice in returning to the same location. This app does not allow me to correct grammar. Sorry.

Oct 2022We love this place - light, airy, spacious and comfortable with wide views of the bay and the energetic Old Port area. A pair of perfectly positioned comfy swivel chairs allow you to take in the views and all of the action from above. SO many great places to eat, shop, listen to music and really enjoy this true working port area all within walking distance. Lots to see and do, but also a perfect place to relax and unwind. The parking spot is a huge plus. All communications ahead and check in/out were a breeze. This was our second stay in the Henry Penthouse and certainly not our last!

Aug 2022Beautiful apartment right in downtown Portland. The views were incredible and the place was as described. AC worked great. Very easy access to the apartment and parking is right below. Note that the elevator is very noisy and you hear it in the apartment - but it’s really mostly just the morning and end of work day. Great place!

Aug 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect as we were able to walk everywhere. There was some city and bird (seagull) noise as to be expected, but the view made up for that. The owners were very responsive too. We would highly recommend this property. The only side note would be to make dinner reservations in advance unless you don't mind eating dinner at 9:00!!

Aug 2022This property is perfectly located in Old Portland. It's very clean and safe. The best part was the amazing view of the harbor, and that we were able to walk just about everywhere. There were plenty of places to eat, shop, watch the harbor action, catch a train ride, and see all the big boat adventures, without driving. We highly suggest Luke's Lobster and Becky's Diner! We even took a 3 hour drive up to Bar Harbor for the day, and took the Nature Cruise. That's the way to see Acadia National Park! Amazing views of the land, Lighthouses, Lobster traps, and all the Ocean life. Beautiful!!

Jul 2022Perfect location and well equipped condo - everything you would need for a stay in the heart of Portland. We loved the the kitchen and took advantage of cooking several meals - top of the line appliances. Although easy walk to restaurants and shops parking is included! Even has washer and dryer in unit. Only issue we had was figuring out the 3 TV's that had different remotes and ways of operating.

Jun 2022I cannot imagine a better place to stay than the Henry suite when visiting Portland. This apartment is nicely done; it really has a wow factor from the time you arrive until when you depart. We have stayed here multiple times, my wife, 3yo daughter, and I - and we have always been completely satisfied. Scott and Karen are a pleasure to communicate with and provide all the helpful details you need to maximize your stay. The location is unbeatable, right on the waterfront, and the views are sensational. We hope to return as soon as we can!
