Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt zusätzliche Wünsche sofort! Die Lage ist perfekt!
Das Zuschlagen der Nachtausgangstür stört!

Amazing and cozy hotel with a lot of atmosphere and history. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a trail of almost 5 km on the hotel grounds which we enjoyed walking. We loved our stay and will be back :-)
A small fridge in the room.

The building and the location was nice. They make good liquor
I was so excited to stay here, the property and rooms looked amazing from the photos. However, once we arrived, we got a completely different room than the one we booked. We had a special occation for this trip and booked what seemed to be a beautiful spacious room with red details and a double bed, instead, however, we got a hostel type of tiny room with very small bathroom and two bed mattresses squeezed together. Ive stayed in hostel rooms in the past that look so much better!.. It seemed like the cheapest budget room this hotel had. The noice issolation is terrible! At night some other guest was snoring like a tractor and we couldn’t sleep and were exhausted the next day!! If you have a noice problem, you could at least offer some earplugs for your guests. The breakfast was ok, but no options for vegans, so we just had some bread and coffee/juice. And all this for a ‘lovely’ price of 117eu. per night. I Will not stay here again and wont recommend to my friends either.

Beautiful building in a very quiet area. Monastery grounds with a chapel, a herb garden, distillery. Lovely for walks with a pet. Sufficient parking. Nice, little room, with everything you may need. The breakfast was delicious. Nice little restaurant for dinner. My dog loved it and so did we.
Extra point- there was a wedding on the night of our stay, and we did not hear anything in the rooms. Total peacefulness.

Very nice grounds.
Historic buildings.
Free and secure parking.
Bathroom a bit small.
Need a car as hotel is located in the countryside.

The location in a very old cloister. The size of the room was also good
The check in could only be until 9 pm, so we had to rush to check in before having dinner.
The wifi password wasn't given and was nowhere to be found, so we could not use it. Since there is no receptionist, we could not ask

The hotel and its surrounding
Currently construction work of the bridge is ongoing and to reach to hotel from city it takes more time, also once you land in the Vienenburg finding taxi is difficult task.

Idyllic place with beautiful atmosphere and lots to see. Quiet and spacious, very friendly staff
Everything was wonderful, but I would have enjoyed some bottled water on the room

Location good by car, short walk to Vienenburg if restaurant is full. Nicely done building, also used for company days out and as a wedding venue.
Room next to wedding venue (we were not part of the party) means it's loud until maybe midnight. Could have been more attentive when assigning rooms perhaps. Closet still had previous guest t-shirt and underwear in it (!) and bathroom vent cover hanging down and very loud. Small problems perhaps, but in total unfortunately below expectations.

We managed to get a great deal on the business double room. Highly recommendable. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is an old Monastery which makes for an interesting location, you can walk around the grounds and see the various sites; The Old Church, The Herbs garden, The Bee houses and wild deer among others. The breakfast buffet was also good with a big selection of food to choose from.
Although the room and beds were really comfortable we found the pillows to be really soft and only one pillow per a side. I think it would be better to have two pillows per a side or at least have spare pillows available in the cupboard.

What a fantastic place to stay! The historic building was impressive, and so was the atmosphere. One really special thing: they had loose leaf tea for breakfast. A wonderful treat.
The rooms were quite echoey, and though I had requested a quiet room they put a family with a young child next door to me. Luckily I had my earplugs with me so that I did manage to get a decent night's sleep.

The fact that it used to be a monastery, and the various operating brewery buildings in the compound. I booked a basic room with breakfast and the breakfast is absolutely worth it. The eggs are from the chickens in the compound. Thanks to Booking.com, we got an upgrade to a nicer room. It’s clean, quiet and a gem. The staff were outstanding. They helped me call a couple of places to confirm reservations in other Klosters. That’s excellent customer service.
There is a restaurant related to the property. As it’s the closest place for food we went there to eat. We had walked from Goslar to the Kloster and didn’t want to walk further into Vienenburg to look for dinner and then walk back. With COVID, there’s no indoor dining. I tried to explain that outdoor dining is difficult for me as a lot of smokers often light up their cigarettes and makes me cough. The waitress basically chased us out of the restaurant indoor area even though someone else accommodated me. The message from the wait staff was too bad if you don’t want to sit outside, you can go else where. In the end, we sat as far away from some smokers and ate as quickly as possible. I guess they don’t get a lot of English speaking guests as the staff didn’t understand English. We used translation app to communicate. If you don’t speak German, make sure you have a translation app for dining in the restaurant.

The ‘Kloster’ seemed impressive and situated in a picturesque setting, but really only with a car. But we had a lovely comfortable room and could relax.
We felt rather isolated without any great personal attention or enthusiasm for the local surroundings from reception. And at times the hotel felt a bit spartan. More imagination could be invested in turning it into a more welcoming environment.

Lots to see and do at the Monserrat. Excellent breakfast. Lovely restaurant for dinner. Big, comfortable room with modern bathroom. A fun experience to stay in an old monestary.
Staff could have been friendlier.

Excellent rooms. Excellent breakfast.
Food and beverages needs improvement outside breakfast times: Dinner was OK but uninspired and table service inattententive- wine didn't arrive until after we had finished eating. Impossible to get a cold beer except with a meal.

Former old monastery and authentic charm.
Nothing, it was tranquil and if you wanted to have a bit of an more animated atmosphere, then cross the road to the pub!

Outstanding breakfast selection and half pension a must...absolutely delicious food! Beautiful grounds especially stroll through garden at sunset; picture perfect opportunities around each corner. Don’t forget to stop by the shop for the local libations. We live 500 kilometers away and wanted to drive back this weekend, but alas all rooms were booked...but we’ll definitely return!

No hot water! No heat in the morning! Unfriendly staff!
