The kitchen equipment is rather old but functional.

The apartment with 2 bedrooms was just a perfect solution for a family. It was very clean and the host was a most welcoming and helpful man. In the summer the stay included summer cards for us all, which meant free travelling in buses and lifts and discounts in many attractions.

Very cosy apartment with vintage flair! Great location! Bakery, Groceries, bus stop very near by! The kitchen was well equipped which was very important for us, because we stayed “home” for dinner. The apartment was very specious and cosy- perfect for our first winter vacation as a family of 3! The owner Matthias is also very friendly and helpfull!

The house is quite close to the main railway station: 7-8 min of walk. Also a bus station with buses to reach almost all destination in the region of Schladming is in 10 min of walk. By the way, a nice bakery with very tasty bread, coffee and buns is very close.

The host was extremely easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Throughout the stay he was available to answer questions and went out of his way to provide us with information about taxis and trains for our return trip to Salzburg. We ended up using the train because it was so much cheaper and very easy to get to Salzburg Airport using the train and the bus. We had visited Schladming several times before but I am sure that if we had had any questions about anything relating to our trip the host would have made a huge effort to provide complete and helpful information. The apartment itself had everything we needed including dishwasher, coffee machine and sharp knives, and the bedrooms were spacious. The shower was hot and reasonably powerful. We cooked at the apartment every evening which was a little limiting without an oven but we tended to eat hearty meals at lunch time at the restaurants on the ski slopes so a simple evening meal was plenty. There is a Billa supermarket a 5 minute walk from the apartment across the other side of the river and there is also a Billa supermarket right next to the Planai Gondola station so we tended to buy small amounts as we needed them after skiing which was good for getting what we wanted right there and then and also meant there was very little waste. There is also a Spar which is only a short detour from the Gondola Station to the apartment. We took an easy 15 minute walk to the Schladming swimming pool a couple of times during our 7 night stay. I would thoroughly recommend the swimming pool. It has a slide which the kids enjoyed and there are lots of water jets which can be used to ease tired skiing muscles. There are a couple of lanes for swimming lengths - probably 20m/25m.

My kids seem to have allergies to feather pillows so we improvised by covering the synthetic cushions with t-shirts as pillow covers. Now that I think about it I could have asked the host and he would have have helped us out, I am sure.

There is a nice, well-equipped kitchen that allows you to make your own breakfasts and dinners.

Everything was very good. We think about a return there.
