My stay at The hill crest inn, was very very nice and comfortable. moreover the staff and the owner of the property they are so nice and so helpful in arranging services for us. I have stayed at many bnb’s before but never seen such services and dedication towards their guests!! whenever I will come to Shimla next, no doubt my stay will be at The Hill crest inn!!👍🏻

frankly speaking, everything was top class

The room was well appointed and facilities were in good order. The food here was amazing, very very tasty. The staff were great and helpful and it's price was OK.

The location is different to what it shows on the map. You have to walk down a very steep set of steps and tracks to get to this address. Fine for able body people but not so for others.

I did not like the hotel at all. This is not a 3 star hotel as advertised!! To be honest nothing was as expected based on the description on the booking.com site.

I arrived in the evening around ten. I got a room that was different than booked. room was dirty. told staff to change all bedsheets and clean the bathroom. they did. next day I would get the room I ordered and I did. Room was better but not clean and promised items like safe, bidet, view and Netflix were not there. Hotel has 5 rooms all on one floor. No soundproof doors so a lot of noise in the room. Hotel says that rooms are good for invalids but I can assure you it is impossible for a handicapped person to reach the hotel. Walk to the hotel is on a steep downhill path with loads of obstacles and a taxi cannot come closer than 100 meters from entry. Going into town means climbing a very steep hill for over a kilometer with muddy slippery patches in between. Staff is only available after phoning them. They were very friendly but hardly spoke any English. I complained at the Manager told him I would not pay but at the end I decided to pay part of the agreed amount which meant a 20%+ discount.

I like the friendly behaviour of Nagpal ji and all the staff were very cooperative

I didn't like I can say is the location which is more downward from mall road which was uncomfortable to children and others female members otherwise all was excellent

This is not a hotel but a private property with Rooms Properly Maintained. The rooms are good with good Hygiene and Cleanliness. The staff is good. This place is managed by a very very Humble Owner (Mr Jagmohan) who's not only polite but is very diligent in providing utmost care to the guests. Outside Foos is allowed and has a Dining Area. They also have an in-house Kitchen with limited food options.

Far from Mall Road. It is down the hill which has a steep road with no vehicles Only walking. You need a 10min hill walk for the main road and a 20-25 min walk for Shimla mall road also no vehicle can go from the main road to hotel For Senior citizens it is a big drawback as it's too descent from the main road. Not at all recommended for Senior citizens or couples with kids. No View from the Hotel. Again cause Shimla is a Hill Station. Walking on Slop is not an easy task. you will run short of breath.

In centre of shimla. Great support from the staff. Mr. Jagmohan have been very helpful. He dropped us to near mall road. Food facilities were available and nice. Good view of hills from the room. Clean room and bathroom.

The location can be little steep while walking but thats like whole Shimla :)

The owner of the property is very helpful and a person who stands in the hour of need. He always try to go that extra mile to help customers.

The property is located in a tricky hill area and difficult to locate. It’s not easy to communicate to the location.

Very tidy and lovely hotel equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom. Jagmohan is a great host and there when you need him, Very nice and wants to share all hé know about the area. We had a great stay!

I like the facilities as well as the behaviour of the staff.

I dont like the location at all. I had a valley view of the room but instead it seems like we are in the valley. No view at all. Whenever we need to go to the mall road we have to trek 2 kms as the place is in the valley itself. Never take your parents to this hotel they wont be able to trek for that long.

Cleanliness is good. Staff is good.

Location : Exceptionally bad. You need to tale around 40 stairs and walk 200 meters to reach the location. No parking. Not recommended for senior citizens or couple with kids . Location is far off from mall load. Very bad location.

Good hotel, very clean & neat hotel & rooms, friendly staff. The most important thing is hotel owner instructed & came for car park. Very friendly person

Shimla generally has parking problem. Hotel may have some more activities specially for kids
