I received a call from the manager a few hours before arriving in Dakar to tell me that there had been a double booking and that instead of the four nights I had booked, I could only stay for one. I’m not sure how this sort of thing can happen when it seems the Petit Club only has 3 rooms, so it really shouldn’t be difficult to manage bookings. But to their credit, both the manager who called me and the woman working at the hotel were both very polite and helpful, and paid for my taxi to my next hotel the next morning. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but I appreciate the advance warning because it gave me time to book somewhere else. The facilities themselves are nice - my room was huge with a big bathroom too. The hotel has a nice rooftop, and the location is good too.

The bed was comfortable and the temperature control was nice.

The pillows had sweat smells, the sink wasn't draining well they didn't fix it even though I let them know. My room was cleaned only once and I stayed 7 nights there. I asked many times that I need service and the trash thrown away but they ignore my requests. The breakfast situation is weird, they ask to text them every night and it's very basic, I only had it once during my stay it wasn't worth it. I do not recommend and the place extremely hard to find. I am very disappointed I won't be coming back that's for sure.

hotel kamer is echt prachtig en ruim! Gezien mijn vlucht vertraagd was kwam ik pas om 02:00 aan bij het hotel. Het personeel van het hotel hield continu contact met mij en zorgde ervoor dat er avond eten was bij aankomst. Gaby heeft mijn verblijf aangenaam gemaakt door een taxi voor me te regelen en te tolken. Het hotel bevindt zich op loop afstand van een prachtige strand en Moskee. Je kan eigenlijk alles op loop afstand doen! Toen ik weer naar mijn volgende hotel moest, zorgde Gaby ervoor dat ik een taxi kreeg en dat er voor me werd getolkt
